Terrible customer service, completely unknowledgeable staff, and the chat help online is a joke, they are little help at all and half the stuff they tell you isn't even true. Their brick and mortar store staff is a little bit better at least. Service is awful, terrible speeds, much less than half of the promised mbps.

Virtually zero down time, and never insufficient speed for our needs. HOWEVER, they just increased our bill due to the lapse of a 3-year "deal". Very unhappy with that!!!!!

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. And it takes a lot to be upset. Average call time to answer one questions is about 45 minutes to an hour and minimum 6-7 transfers. I do not recommend calling any customer service if you have an issue with their internet unless you have a full weekend or 2-3 hours to answer your question.

Worst customer service! They failed to deliver service and did not even contact me about any updates. I had to call and be on the phone for over an hour each time I called, and even then... They never gave me a solution to their failure to set up service when they said they would. Don’t listen to their lies.

They will not update our lines to fioptics and it runs right next to our street. Internet is snail. And I will continue to look for better stuff. They need to update system so they can have more customers cause they are not accepting any more customers

They lose their mail and don't post payment timely then charge late fees on top of late fees, refuse to reverse charges. Where is their mail going? Happens way too often. Received a notice of cancellation for .02 cents today. Really?

High speed internet is more like the low speed. The deal of $50 per month turned out to be a rip off, and I ended up paying almost $70!!! $70 for the slowest internet in my life!... Also, couldn't update my account information because of the lack of a good customer service.

CenturyLink installed a new phone line 6/19/2017 but did not bury it. Tried calling and email 5 times but the only response I received is that a supervisor would call--never happened. The line remains on the ground with grass growing tall for the past 1-1/2 months since I cannot mow it without cutting the line.

CenturyLink is awful internet, I would only use it as a last resort. They are super cheap, but from my experience, the internet is super slow and drops a lot. Their customer service is not helpful and seemingly always in a bad mood. I happily left them for better service.

I absolutely hate CenturyLink. Every month I had some kind of issue with my bill and would have to wait on the line for forever. Their internet was so bad, I had to call all the time to try and figure out what was wrong with it. It was extremely frustrating. I was so glad when I moved to a place that had better options than just CenturyLink.

I have been with centurylink for about two years and their Internet services is sub-par. Yesterday I was in middle of my school quiz and all of the Internet went. It came back 30 mins after the test. These MFs want me to pay them. Please do not make that mistake but their service suck.

Century Link promised me a lot before I signed up, but the service just didn't measure up. The internet speed was mediocre at best and it was very difficult to make payments online through Century Link's online portal. The company was somewhat difficult to deal with as well. Would not recommend.

Poor quality internet that frequently cuts out. Very long hold times for customer service. Frequently transferred from department to department and often disconnected when calling costumer service. Excuses excuses excuses from employees. No shame in over charging you because they don't think you will want to deal with the above noted.

This company does not stick to their appointments (they have rescheduled me 5 times), and give excuses for not being there. They got my account wrong twice, then tried to tell me they showed up, and texted me when they got here, but I received no text from them at all

There is nothing fast about this internet. My MiFi works faster and that's not saying much. You bundle and kind of feel like you are stuck. I have a 1400 sq ft home and can't even get service on my printer in the bedroom. They sold me a booster for $100 that didn't make a difference. So throwing good money after bad. After writing this I really think I am going to have to just cancel them and deal with the consequences. My neighbors all use Comcast and are very pleased.

Worst service possible and very expensive. The truth is, you can only get so much out of a landline as far as internet service. I was getting a average of 1.5 Mbps for a very expensive price. They had no intention of ever upgrading my local service, so I no longer use them for internet service, just too slow. Customer service was simply awful as well.

I purchased centurylink for my home in northern Utah with very high hopes. We canceled our subscription as soon as possible. The WiFi device was terrible. When we contacted Century link I was met with an annoying automated voice, and little to no help. I was left angry and throughly displeased.

Our experience with CenturyLink has not been positive. The coverage in our area has been slow. CenturyLink came to our house to try to deliver faster internet speeds but was unable to meet the requirements we had for our home office.

We had centurylink broadband for several years. The service we were paying for was never the service we were getting. The quality and reliability of broadband is not good. They also consistently raise prices for loyal customers which gets old. You then need to call in and haggle to get a new customer price. This is a broken business model that most internet and cable providers employ. We stopped supporting it and tried another offering which we are much happier with.
