CenturyLink provides reliable internet for a home Wi-Fi network. The company also offers good internet security and backup services with its internet packages through Norton by Symantec.

No Overage Charges

You may have to watch out for CenturyLink's data caps; it's something that a few CenturyLink customers complain about.

CenturyLink sets limits for how much of the internet its customers can use in any given month, which is 1 TB. This is a generous amount of data, so most customers won't surpass it. The only thing good about CenturyLink is that their price is low and you get plenty of GBs of data. Otherwise, they are horrible to work with, customer service will tell you one thing, and then when it doesn't happen they say that they can't really do what they said they could do.

i would say the service is bad but sometimes especially in the evening it freezes up. During the day I work from home and never really have any problems. Stay clear of these criminals. I shut off my service (which was a HUGE pain in itself), paid my final bill, and due to a mistake on their representative's part, they charged me for another month of service that I didn't even use. I called to have this mistake removed from my closed account 3 different times, where they said it would be removed, and to let it go through a few payment cycles. The last straw was receiving a notice that they were sending the balance to collections if I didn't pay. Please stop giving your business to this company, they need to be shut down ASAP.

Do not get centurylink. This is absolutely the worst company on our planet. Their customer service is at best pathetic. If you have a question, you will get transferred so many times until you give up. If you have a complaint, they will just just hang up on you. Their service is slow, the equipment is sub-standard and cheap. When you return equipment, months later they will sent your account to collections as punishment. The one star rating is because there is nothing lower on here!

Bad customer service, and even though I am paying for higher speeds, it's consistently about 3 Mps. No one is willing to help or address it. The answer is always, "Restart the modem"

Lots of outages, inconsistent service. Customer service is very spotty and frequently either vague or dishonest..
