I absolutely hated CenturyLink when I had it. Service always kept going down or completely out. The price was good but I definitely got what I paid for. If you want a fast dependable internet connection I wouldn't use CenturyLink.

Not a great internet provider. Slow speeds and outages. It seemed like I was always on the phone with customer service trying to figure out what was wrong. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone looking.

If I could give zero stars I would. Our speed was always horribly slow with century link and the customer service was awful as well!! Often had a representative who had too thick of a foreign accent to understand. They also charged me a $200 cancellation fee when I transferred service to a new state and they weren’t supposed to charge me. Took me 5 months to get my money back!! Ridiculous

The best word I can come up with to describe CenturyLink's internet service is "average". So-so speeds at a so-so price. I would look into other providers before considering CenturyLink.

Speed was just ok, but connection would drop at least once a day. I had to powercycle their modem at least 3 times a week. Appointments for techs were few and far between, but techs when they got here, had been helpful.

honestly, not a fan. used this provider for internet for a bit, but it was slow and very inconsistent, going out and random times when i had important papers due or something. pretty inconvenient. again, speed was o k a y - not great but not horrible. until it broke.

The internet was fast for the price in some areas. Once I moved it was terrible even when I upgraded. I always seemed to have an issue with my bill. I was with them for 5 years and just recently decided to go with Cox.

Century link has provided us with internet service for a few years and I have been pleased with the results. The internet speed is fast and the service is great. Installation wasn't as fast as I would have liked it to be.

I have been a customer of CenturyLink for 3 years now. I have tried to change but other companies prices are too high. However, CenturyLink recently raised my bill after promising me that my prices would not change a year ago. They said they didn't have that program and I had to join their new program. I was very dissapointed in them. I am still looking at other companies to change too. On top of that, their service is spotty because their hubs are overloaded in my area.

We used to have Century Link as our internet service provider. It was a little slow in our area but the product seemed to work just fine. I would have transferred them to our new house but they don't offer service there.

Century Link is the only hardline internet provider in my area. I am the last house on the line, and so my service is poor. It is slow, wifi is weak, and I have just had to learn to deal with it. But, I feel like I am paying for a service that I am not getting.

Awful internet, high prices. CenturyLink is the internet that people get that either don't have other options or don't know they have other options. Just like a landline- people only have it because they've always had it. Their provided modem/router combos are generally junk and can't effectively manage demands on the slow speeds.

CenturyLink has great service for a cheaper price than most competitors. They just implemented a "price for life" product that I like.

Terrible customer service. This is a telephone company that can't seem to provide a live person with whom to speak. Menu after menu, then circles back to previous choices. A terrible waste of time trying to reach someone.

Century Link service is slow, especially in my area. I'm paying for up to 25 bps of service, but rarely receive over 17 bps. System is really out of date.

Lies about cost, speed of internet and repair trouble they refuse to address or correct. They are the worst, only reason they exist in business because they they have a monopoly on wired internet in the area.
