The internet service is decent. We don't get as high of speeds as advertised and they play tricks after your promotional year has expired. So you have to sign up again under a new promotion to keep low prices. However, support is pretty spot on when there are issues.

I feel like as far as internet goes, it was okay. It was fairly decent for the amount. However, if more than 3 devices were connected to the wifi at one time, the speed would really slow down. I chose the speeds the salesperson recommended to me.

I had them for a short time and wow did they drop service almost every day. I’m hoping it’s better now since I stopped using them because when I had them tech support was not very good and it would take a while to get a tech out or the would just say it’s an area of high demand and that equals to we over sold the market and it’s causing a speed bottleneck.

Overall I'm happy that they decided to go with a fixed cost plan. It was irritating to have to contact them yearly to renew a contract and try to get them to find similar discounts as the year before. The internet speed is just ok and they have glitches every so often which is really irritating.

I really dislike CenturyLink. I had to use them for about 15 years down in Central Arkansas. They would lie about their service just to get you to sign up (DSL at the time), then once you got all of the equipment installed they would tell you that you were too far from the switch and try to get you to pay a cancellation fee. I ended up going all the way to the office of presidents in order to get this fixed. To make it worse, many years later, (last year) I tried to change from Cox (now in north west arkansas) to this company. The customer service was so bad that I just hung up. I couldn't get basic questions answers let alone sign up for service. I should have known better.

Average company, I did not like the bait and switch tactics they used on us,.. Started at a low and reasonable price and then just constantly started to increase rapidly, not sure why as customer service was not real informative or helpful. Pretty disappointing and then I saw that they had a big lawsuit against them for over billing customers. I can not trust Century Link

When we moved into our current home and when we moved into our last home, CenturyLink was the only option for internet service in our neighborhoods. However, the infrastructure in both neighborhoods was very old and outdated, so the service was very poor. Many people in our neighborhoods called them repeatedly to complain, but we were told there was nothing they could do. They refused to upgrade the infrastructure our old neighborhood. In our current neighborhood, they "band-aid fix" the problem, but it never really helps. When another internet provider ran brand new fiber to our previous neighborhood, we immediately signed up for their service and did not regret it one bit. In our current home, I was finally able to get internet service from cell phone provider and did not regret it one bit. I work from home and what used to literally take HOURS to do, took SECONDS with the new providers. When I called CenturyLink to cancel my service each time, they tried to scare me into keeping their worthless service by telling me that those others providers were unreliable. I just laughed and told her I'd take my chances. We haven't regretted it either time now. With CenturyLink, we were unable to stream movies and barely able to continue working from home.

Their internet is maxed out at 10 mbps download and that i sonly when noon else is using it. If there are three people using the internet then it drops down to 3mbps

CenturyLink is an Internet carrier to use when it is the only option in your area. It is expensive for what they provide. When they are the only game in town, they aren't incented to improve their speeds. It is in and out constantly, and not very reliable. I can't wait until another provider offers service in our area. CenturyLink is in Redfield Arkansas.

They're great when they work and bad when they're not! Customer service can be very hard to deal with. They take forever to "diagnose" your need when you call in and then even worse to fix it after that. Most times the service was too slow to bother. Luckily we don't have it in our area so we use xfinity.

Not a fan of CenturyLink. The service is slow and is over priced. Unfortunately, we have few options in our city and we are stuck with their service. Looking forward to when other providers become available and we can switch. Their customer service agents seem to know that we have few options and therefore are indifferent to helping us when we call.

We started off our internet service with CenturyLink. It seemed fine until early in 2016, we began to have problems with the internet dropping when the home phone line rang. We had DSL at the time so this should not have happened. When I called CenturyLink to get help, it was just a bunch of preprogrammed responses, push this button, etc... I never got to talk to a real person! This was extremely frustrating, and I tried more than once, trying different numbers, buttons, etc...So, when a Comcast representative showed up at the door, I was an easy sell.

We have used CentryLink for several years. It's not because we want to, it because they are the only service we have available in our neighborhood. For some reason, no other company offers service in our neighborhood, while they do to the surrounding neighborhoods. The service is amazingly slow. I've spoken with service personnel about this. They promise me the world and deliver me very little. For example, I called complaining that download times were painfully slow. The promised to upgrade me to an extremely high download rate. However, the problem is that they say that they cannot fix our internet service for this area to anything faster speed, so increasing my delivery speed isn't even an option. The deliver system apparently is not even in place to increase my delivery speed. I would quite using IMMEDIATELY if I had another service I could go with.

We had Century link internet a few years ago. I'm not sure if it was the area that we live in or what the issue was but our connection would get lost and we would have to restart our box on a regular basis. The range of our WiFi wasn't very good either and since our connection was in the basement it was hard to get a very strong signal to the upstairs. They came out a couple times to fix it but nothing really changed so we switched providers.

I even purchased a new computer, thinking it was my older computer. I finally had an Engineer from Century Link come to my house. Finally, after all these years, someone was honest with me. Broadband was all that was offered in my area from CenturyLink. The service was consistently not meeting the service levels we were paying for. The price we were paying on a promotion would double/triple after several months prompting us to have to call in to get the latest and greatest deal. After several years of service, you would think a company would reward loyal customers, but alas... they do not. It's very disappointing and frustrating. We cancelled service.
