Customer Review: Sagar from Seattle, WA

"I had researched about a lot of teeth aligner companies and finally went with Byte because of its most number of positive reviews. And, I'd say that I'm very happy with my choice. I can really see the results. The gaps in my teeth are almost gone. Their team is very responsive and they regularly checked in with me about my progress. I'd surely recommend Byte to anyone."

*This includes some reviewers who received a free gift in exchange for their honest opinions.

Simple and Straightforward Treatment Process

Byte's invisible aligners are clear plastic devices custom made to fit your teeth. Over time, each clear aligner will gradually shift your teeth, so you have straighter teeth and a straighter smile.

Using the at-home impression kit, consumers will use a molding putty and trays to make the impression of their teeth, and then they'll send those teeth impressions back to Byte using the supplied free pre-paid shipping box.

The molds from the impression you send back will generate an interactive 3D model of what your teeth look like, and what they will look like after treatment. Byte will then determine if they're a good candidate for an aligner treatment.

Byte’s aligners are designed to help people who need minor to moderate alignments. If you have crooked teeth, crowded teeth, or simply need a minor bite correction, Byte is an excellent option to get straight teeth.

If you're not a candidate for Byte, the company will refund you the full price of the Byte impression kit.

The molds are used to generate an interactive 3D model of what your teeth look like and what they will look like after treatment. Byte will then determine if you’re a good candidate for clear aligners.

The Byte team will also look at your pictures to decide on a plan that matches your facial structure. Byte evaluates your facial structure to help create your smile plan, using Smile Science. This is a detailed system created by Dr. Marashi who has worked with several well-known Hollywood stars. The Smile Science aims to ensure your smile looks symmetrical in comparison to your face.

You’ll have a chance to review the customized treatment plan and respond with any questions you may have.

Byte also guarantees your smile with the Byte for Life guarantee. That means that if your teeth move out of alignment after going through the Byte treatment, Byte will cover the cost to straighten them, no questions asked.

Not only do other companies charge customers for retainers to keep their teeth straight, but most companies also lack a lifetime guarantee.

Byte’s treatments are done without any office visits to a dentist or orthodontist, but customers should still see their dentist regularly to keep up with oral hygiene.

High Frequency Vibration Tool Included

The HyperByte device is the company's exclusive dental movement acceleration device. High frequency vibrations (HFV) uses soft micropulses that transmit through the roots of the teeth to the surrounding bone.

According to Byte, this type of therapy may reduce discomfort and better seat the aligners around the teeth. This may result in better aligner traction, more accurate teeth movement, and much faster treatment times.

Short Average Treatment Length

The clear aligner system is not only less expensive than traditional braces, but is often also faster. Though the duration of treatment will vary case-by-case as the treatment program depends on several factors, including the extent of the individual customer's alignment needs, Byte offers one of the quickest teeth straightening programs.

Consumers can also expect a faster treatment time if they're following Byte's recommended guidelines:

  • Wear the Byte invisible aligners as much as possible — only taking them out to eat or drink
  • Use the aligners on both the lower and upper teeth
  • Order replacement aligners immediately if one gets lost or damaged
  • Switch aligners every week

Because of the company's HyperByte technology, customers typically finish the program in four-to-five months.

Free Retainers, Whitening, and Cleaner

Very few invisible aligner providers include the value that Byte does. Byte offers free retainers to customers. Other invisible braces companies charge up to $99 for a pair of retainers that last only six months.

Byte also includes a bottle of BrightByte 3-in-1 premium teeth whitening foam, breath freshener, and teeth aligner cleaner for free. Because teeth alignment requires customers to wear aligners all day, Byte wants to help customers have a whiter, brighter smile at the same time.

Byte recommends cleaning the aligners immediately after taking them out to prevent them from looking cloudy or discolored. However, Byte advises customers to clean the aligners with the BrightByte whitening gel that acts as a teeth whitener/foam cleanser and not to use other whitening products as they can damage the aligners.

Byte also offers free shipping both ways on all packages sent and received.

Payment Options

There are a few different payment options. Customers can pay the full cost upfront or they can choose a monthly financing option through bytepay™, Byte’s all-new 100 percent guaranteed approval rate payment plan with no credit checks.

  • The one-time payment option is $1,895
  • The monthly option is an $82 monthly payment over 32 months — a $249 down payment is required

Unlike several other invisible aligner companies, Byte offers multiple financing options that are inclusive to all financial situations to get the best possible monthly payment. Or customers can finance their invisible aligners through Byte's financing partner, Affirm. Byte accepts all major debit and credit cards including Care Credit.

search

Highlight: Byte accepts multiple forms of payment, including dental insurance.

Customers can use their dental insurance, as well as their HSA or FSA debit card to pay for treatment.

Customers can also pay for their purchases with Splitit. Splitit is a global payment solution that allows shoppers to split the final cost into interest-free monthly payments. Currently, Byte offers 3 or 6-month payment options with Splitit. There is no application process with Splitit; customers receive instant approval using their existing debit/credit card level.

Byte-at-Night Option

Byte now offers a treatment plan in which customers only need to wear their aligners at night. This is a notable and exciting new offering, as many consumers don't love having to wear their aligners throughout the day, including having to take them out and clean them anytime they eat or drink anything besides water.

These at-night aligners are made with a grind-resistant polymer material and are slightly thicker than Byte's day-wear aligners. Consumers who go with this Byte-at-Night option will need to wear their nighttime aligners for a minimum of 10 continuous hours. This treatment plan also takes 2-3 months longer to complete compared to the all-day aligner plan. The at-night treatment plan is also slightly more expensive, costing a single payment of $2,295, or $99.56 per month (after a $449 deposit) if doing a monthly payment plan.

Byte now offers a military discount of $150 off for all active and retired military, along with discounts for first responders, and college students.

The Bad

  • Slightly Higher Prices

Slightly Higher Prices

The entire in-home invisible aligners industry is much cheaper than traditional metal braces, but there are price fluctuations within the industry itself.

Though Byte's monthly payment plan and free products included in the overall package are advantageous, the company's prices are slightly higher than other companies in the invisible aligners industry.

However, the price difference may be inconsequential given the great financing options and additional value.

gavel

The Bottom Line

The Byte for Life guarantee ensures that customers will have a straight smile for the rest of their lives (conditions apply). While some companies will offer a 30-day guarantee, they usually only cover the impression kit. Byte includes retainers, cleaner, and whitening products in its overall price, a perk not seen in many other invisible aligner companies.

Additionally, Byte does not require a downpayment on its monthly financing option through Affirm. Customers can also choose a monthly financing option at 0 percent APR through Byte’s various financing partners.

Another attractive feature of Byte's service is its HyperByte® device with high frequency vibration (HFV) technology, which may help speed up tooth movement and ease discomfort;* this device is included free as part of the treatment. *Preliminary clinical studies of small groups of users have shown that daily recommended use of a high-frequency seating device functionally equivalent to HyperByte with clear aligners may have this effect. Individual results may vary.

Byte customer reviews praise Byte's customer service team and many customers are pleased with how easy the entire straightening process is with Byte. Customers were also happy with the variety of payment options. Being able to pay upfront, through an HSA or FSA account, or by financing, is a huge plus for many consumers.

While Byte has slightly higher prices than several other invisible braces companies, we recommend customers use Byte because of the quality and range of service it provides, as well as the value of the time savings and convenience of receiving clear aligner treatment from home.

If I could give them negative stars I would. my experience with them has been so frustrating and horrible that I am convinced the positive reviews are paid for. please do your teeth and your sanity a favor and take your business elsewhere. Initially, when they devised my plan in 2 days, I received multiple calls per day, text messages and emails from them to try to get me to buy the plan. After I bought the plan and received the kit, I realized that their plan was not correctly aligning my teeth, causing functional issues with my bite, and aesthetic issues in the form of an exaggerated overbite. I reached out to their customer service and was alternatively, rudely dismissed, ignored, told to wait. I am beyond disappointed, I came to them with minor gap issues, that I could live with, but I wanted a better smile, and after I paid nearly 2K, I'm now left with major problems that I now need to spend additional 5K or so to get fixed at an orthodontist.

Do not throw your money! I’ll try to make it as quick and simple possible. I was excited about this treatment as all of you, I placed my order on 7/2019 my treatment was supposed to be done by 10/2019 we are in March/2020 & I’m continuing my treatment. Once you finish your “whole treatment” it’s not over! You will have to order aligners every 3 weeks! Why? Because they only send you 3 sets at a time and do ground shipping, I’m currently waiting on more aligners as I type and I’ve been waiting FIVE weeks! All they have to say is “I’m sorry” I just got off the phone and asked if they could overnight to compensate my LONG WAIT TIME, they said no. So don’t expect to get sitting overnighted, all they want it their money, I paid my treatment in 3 months, everything went down the drain after that. BTW I had braces as a teen so don’t think I had crazy crooked teeth. I can still see myself wearing aligners for AT LEAST 4 more months.. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

I am on week 9 of my aligners and they have not fitted correctly on my top teeth since week 1. I have made numerous contacts to byte explaining my dissatisfaction. The whole process from day one has been a headache. I can’t urge anyone enough to to just do it the correct way and go to your dentist and get properly fitted as proper treatment . Currently waiting out the 7 business days for a response now that they have decided to send my treatment plan back to the orthodontist.

No No and No.. Their customer service is absolutely clueless of ongoing situation, they just read of the computer screen and give you an update. I had 3-4 impressions taken and they can not get me the aligners to have my teeth finally fixed and finalized, it has been 6 months now. So their claim of a 3 month or within certain time alignment claim goes down the drain, since it has been 6 months or more and I am still going back and forth with this company about proper alignment. I am only %80 done and I still have a bottom tooth which keeps going in and out every single day, unless I put the aligner on at night, this is not a good statistic. If my tooth keeps moving back and forth every single day for the rest of my life, my guess is it will "fall off" day... Anyways, I am not %100 satisfied and all they do is just sweet talk you and try to provide "excellent" customer service. which is not enough, results are the most important factor here. And one last piece of information... There are only very small number of websites that allow for a negative feedback to be posted, try to go on their site and post a feedback, all they are displaying is positives and happy customer reviews.. by which any company can achieve stellar results and satisfaction ratings... FAKE... I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.... P.S Make sure not to pay them completely, in case such problem arises in your station you can have a leverage...

So far, 2 hyperbites have malfunctioned on me. My teeth are still not straight after my 14 week plan, so now I have to get a whole new set of aligners. Through the process, the customer server has been great, but the products are cheap and I was given false promises about the time frame.

Wouldn't recommend. I previously had invisalign 10+ years ago and my teeth had started shifting from grinding at night. Nothing too bad, should be an easy fix right? I submitted everything to byte and was told I was a great candidate and thee treatment plan would be 10 weeks. Great! I did the 10 weeks but my teeth still had a gap. Reached out and they said no problem we will do a new set for refinement to fix the remaining issues. Well I'm now awaiting my 4th set of refinement aligners and my treatment has already surpassed ONE YEAR!! Definitely not what I expected when I was quoted a 10 month treatment. I even asked since it's taking so long if they could switch me to night time only aligners and was told I would have to pay more to upgrade which is ridiculous given the length of treatment. I would have never done it if I knew it would be over a year still with no end in sight.

Health Hazzard! And, I don’t have my re-printed aligners, still, yet!! I want my money back! Never pay them in full!! I received my initial Byte aligner treatment plan on April 9th, 2020, and I was thrilled. Everything was going great, until June 3rd, 2020 (not even 2 months into my 4 month treatment plan). Then it happened!!! My week 7, “UPPER” aligner wouldn’t fit. I contacted Byte. I sent photos so they could see that my week 7 UPPER aligner didn’t fit. They seen it didn’t fit, so they told me they’d make me new ones. So, they sent me a mold kit, so I could do a re-mold of my teeth, so they could make new aligners to fit properly for where my teeth had gotten to after wearing my aligners for 6 weeks. They told me to stay in my week 6 aligners until I received my new aligners. I clarified with them because they had me do molds of both my upper and my lower teeth. I asked, “are you making new molds for both my upper and lower teeth? They said, yes! I told them that I didn’t t understand why, because I only needed my Upper, but they said, no, were sending both.” This meant, I had to stay in my 6 week aligners (to hold my teeth in place until I got my new ones), with both my upper and lower, now!! I’m at their mercy, so I did what they told me. Only, 4 weeks latter, yep, one whole month later, it hadn’t happened yet! Mind you, a month in the same aligners is a health hazard to your teeth! No matter how good you clean your aligners, bacteria and germs remain. Only, the catch is, if I don’t keep my week 6 aligners on, my teeth are in danger of shifting back to how they were, then the new aligners that they are making me won’t fit when I get them (hence, the reason you have to wear a retainer every night after your treatment is finished - forever). Throughout all of this, I am emailing them back and forth. I’m nice about things, and they are, too. Only, EVERY email back from them, there’s some sort of mistake that is corresponded back to me indicating that they aren’t getting things right. I’d point out the discrepancies, and they would always apologize and correct it, but it still worried me, none the less. Sure enough! They “loose my first re-make.” They slobber sorries all over the place, they say they are re-making more for me, and they promise my new ones are being “rushed” to me. Then it finally happens!! OVER a month has passed, and I get a package from them. I open it and there’s a box with my new set of aligners!! Yeah! I can get back to getting my teeth straightened, right (?) even though I’m over a month behind. Yes, I had to wear week 6 aligners for over a month!! I’m not sure if you understand! You have to wear them 22 hours per day! You can’t eat and drink like normal. It is NOT fun at all. And, I got an extra month added to my aligner sentence. Oh, well, at least I can re-begin again, right? Nope!!! They only sent me bottom aligners!! I already had bottom aligners that fit perfectly! It was my UPPER ones that didn’t fit correctly. I’d even sent SEVERAL emails alerting them to this because the emails I was getting from them were indicating that they were NOT on point. And, they were NOT on point, at all!! Now, I still don’t have aligners for my UPPER teeth. My UPPER aligners that they gave me originally don’t fit! My UPPER teeth are why I got aligners in the first place. They offered $100.00 for my troubles (yes, I have all of this insanity in the many emails back and forth to them)! No one should have to go through all of this for ANYTHING that they have paid for 100% (yes, I paid for the full treatment plan upfront). My bad!! No, I don’t want $100.00 for my troubles! I want my money back! All, $1,924.95 of it! I paid for my treatment plan, in full, upfront, and I didn’t even get half of what you promised/agreed to give me! I want my money back! I have joined link so I can get a message to the founder, Scott C, about this. I’m still emailing Byte customer care about this (I can’t get get ahold of them via their phone), and I’m willing to go to where they are and talk to them face to face if I have to. This is WRONG!! I want my money back!

I started my 12 week Byte at Night experience 10 months ago and have not had much success. I was supposed to change aligners every 7 days and it would take at least 2 - 4 weeks per change out. For the past 5 months I have been in Upper Tray 5 and Lower Tray 8, unable to get the next set of trays to work. I contacted byte and they sent refinement aligners, a new 10 week program; however, I can't get them to fit at all so here I am over $2,000 out of pocket paid upfront and I'm basically restarting the program with aligners not fitting. Also, when my original aligners arrived, I was missing aligners and had to contact them to send those. When I contact byte needing actual help it takes days to weeks for a response; however, the marketing team is always quick to reply. I have had friends participate in other at home aligner programs with better success. I choose byte for their byte for life guarantee program but am disappointed with my progress and expenses thus far. I would hope that they would give preference to the customers that they already have by replying in a timely manner and using some form of quality control....by shipping incomplete sets to customers and then having the customer send pictures of what they have received is not quality. Good luck future aligner wearers.

I am on my second treatment set of aligners. I started with a very slight problem with my front 4 teeth only. It was NOT a significant fix. It's been 8 MONTHS. My teeth are not straight. Don’t like them for a number of reasons. Really did not treat me like a paying customer but like a money sign. Harassing me when emails and calls and pushing for me to sign up. Just for me to find out they max out the credit card I had applied to and refused to give me military or student discount after purchasing 2500 dollars worth. Nor did they offer anything in compensation!

The set up is easy. Everything works fine until I got to the end of my 3 month treatment. Took before and after pics and my teeth didn't move. Waiting for another set of retainers. Taking much longer than expected and not sure if it will work this time. They emailed and said this is normal but to me, this seems far from what I expected. Now I am waiting for about a month with my temporary retainer waiting for my new set so I can finish the process.

Whenever additional aligners are requested, there is a process of checking in with our clinical team for your next steps, and a short wait time before the aligners will arrive to you, to ensure we are matching up your new treatment to your previous start. We also want to make sure they arrive to you in perfect condition, and ready to wear! They'll arrive to you before you know it. Let us know if you have waited longer than the 4-6 weeks we state, and we'll make sure to address this further.

t0m ,

Do not use byte aligners. After much research I decided I would try them for myself. At first, it was amazing. Of course there was discomfort and pain when I switched to a new set, but it wasn’t a big deal. Then around week 4, the pain got a little worse each time I would switch. Towards the end of week 6, I had unbearable tooth pain and sensitivity that radiated from my front tooth on the left side all the way to the back teeth on top and bottom. My teeth, especially the left front top tooth, was extremely sensitive to cold drinks, food, and even cold air. The sensitivity started to be random and not all the time, so I thought everything was fine. Then, a few days after I had changed my aligners, I noticed the same tooth was turning another color. I contacted byte and told them what the issue was, and I didn’t hear from them. So I called them, and I had to call twice before receiving a call back. The lady told me they did not do refunds and that she saw my email and would contact the clinical team. Then she responded to my email, saying we talked over the phone and stuff. I thought this was weird because they had not responded to my email until they called, and it seemed fishy how cheery she was over the email. Her name was Yaharia. Then, a clinician got ahold of me named Rebecca and said to see the dentist as soon as possible, as well as send them any relative information, and to continue to wear aligners as long as they weren’t causing pain or pressure. I put back in my week 6 aligners because they weren’t causing pressure. I went to the dentist and they told me to stop treatment immediately. They explained that my teeth were moving way too fast, and I will have to wait for 2-3 weeks to see if my tooth heals itself or if I need a root canal. I now have to wear my week 6 aligners as a retainer at night. I want a full refund from Byte. It is obvious that the company is not safe, regardless of it working fine for other people. I am a college student who pays for her own tuition, and I thought this would be a good investment. However I feel scammed. Byte messed up my teeth. Not to mention, their customer service takes forever to get back to you. Please do yourself a favor and do traditional braces or Invisalign. This is not worth it.

It is hard to get in contact with anyone who actually knows what they are doing, and they are basically a huge scam. They force you to pay for both sets of aligners as they assure you both need fixing but my week one and week 15 top aligner look exactly the same, and they dont even fit in the slightest. Since the day that i paid, it has now been 9 weeks and i still do not have a top aligner and have yet to receive the 2nd round of mold for my top aligner to fit. My bottom aligners are going well which is the only thing keeping me here, that and the thousands of dollars i paid for a bottom aligner to be the only thing that works.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! I wish someone had warned me. This is a long review so I will bullet point the overall issues first. -They don't check in during treatment AT ALL! -Some aligners did not fit -Damage caused to teeth due to aligners -Pain caused due to aligners -Massive dental bills to treat damage -BYTE giving me a hard time to refund my money -Really hard to deal with all of this during Covid -Video Review will be available on YT 11/2/2020 (styledbytshante) I know this company has good reviews, but PLEASE do extensive research. I was convinced by the reviews that this was a good choice for aligners. I was very, very wrong. Imagine simply wanting a better smile and ending up needing a root canal on one of your very front teeth, needing your wisdom teeth pulled and an uncomfortable bite due to the transverse relationship of your teeth. The company seems amazing when you first contact them, you receive the impression kit quickly almost overnight. In the beginning you are assigned a representative that is in contact with you to answer questions you may have, but this person is only in close contact with you before you officially commit and purchase. At the time of purchase I was not asked for any doctor's note or dental records, or a physician's approval (keep this in mind for what happens later). Once I received the aligners I read every piece of instruction on the site and within the booklet (I purchased the night aligners, btw). During the the 3rd week I was having a tough time with the fit, I reached out to them to figure out what to do, I was told to cut the aligner to just fit the smile teeth. They were a bit delayed in getting back to me and also note no one ever reached out to me during the entire time to check on how I was doing with the aligners. I reached out to them once again during what should've been my last couple weeks but I could not fit week 8 (top) or 10 (bottom) aligners, which caused me to stay in week 7 and week 9 for 2 weeks. I sent an email to them with photos to which they never responded until I called them more than a week later. At this time I had finally gotten week 8 to fit however unbeknownst to me the pressure I thought was a normal part of the process was indeed not normal. I was experiencing an extreme amount of pain on my front left tooth, I had not worn the aligners for nearly a week at this point due to the pain. They still had not respond to my email, one morning i was in so much pain it felt like my gums were bleeding. I looked in the mirror and realized my tooth was GRAY! After breaking down in tears from both the pain and the shock I placed a call to BYTE, explaining the situation. Far too disappointed, emotional, and in pain I was simply looking for guidance at the time. A representative from the clinical team said to me , "I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you may need a root canal." At this time I had not even thought about a round because I was just so concerned about my tooth and the pain. I was told to contact a local dentist and have my teeth examined. Once I got off the phone with BYTE I ended up on the phone for 2.5 hours trying to secure a dental appointment with a dentist in my network taking new patients (as I had gotten new coverage earlier in the year). Due to Covid not many dentists within my network had appointments in the very near future, I was in too much pain to wait so I decided to go with a small (mom & pop) dental practice as they could get me in quickly. During my visit I was told I had suffered occlusal damage to tooth #9. The dentist pretty much scolded me for using online aligners and not being under the supervision of a physician. I was also informed that my bite was too complexed for such a simple correction and that the transverse relationship of my teeth were totally off and that my wisdom teeth would need to come out, the same wisdom teeth that were just fine a year ago (my left side top and bottom). I have been referred and scheduled with an endodontist to perform the root canal. I don't even know when I get to picket a crown, because this is my very front tooth I am extremely nervous about this. I relayed all of this information to BYTE, I included the dentist I saw for the visit and the dentist that will be performing the root canal. I was very transparent and thorough in explaining the situation and how much this would be costing me and I most certainly deserve my money back. They responded to me requesting a letter from the dentist on the letterhead, and BYTE stated to me via email that to discontinue treatment, it must come from a dentist, but to start treatment I did not need a letter from a dentist (interesting). After requesting a letter from the dentist through his assistant 3 times, I was simply sent my patient summary, I called back and requested the letter again to which the dentist responded that he was very busy and that it was not his job and that its not very smart to get a medical treatment online, he then told his assistant to draft the letter and email it to me. Once I received the letter, I immediately sent it to BYTE, to which they later responded to me and said that the letter needed to be signed, dated and a phone number needed to be included, a phone number was included. This is a mom and pop type dental office, they don't have fancy letterheads, the dentist does not even have a privatized email account its simply a gmail. The issue with this is both Covid, it is incredibly challenging to receive proper healthcare right now and the fact that there were no need for a physician's supervision to start the treatment and take my money but now there's a need when its time to return my money and discontinue treatment. Also note the return of my funds does not make me whole, I did not start this process in need of a root canal, if and when I receive my refund it simply goes to fixing problems that I did not have before purchasing the BYTE treatment plan. To really make the right they should be refunding my money and paying the cost to fix the issues caused. That's the only way to be made whole. Meanwhile I have a dying tooth, an uncomfortable bite, constant pain, and $2149 that went to absolutely nothing. I've not even reached the point of ordering my aligners, what reason would I have to lie??? Why would I continue with something causing me enough pain to cry everyday. Its just insult on top of injury.

Byte refuses to ship aligners 16-21 in my treatment plan. My aligners that I've been wearing for 10 + weeks as I've waited for aligners 16-21 have broke. No one will help me at this company or respond to my communication. I'm being purposefully ignored. Customer service is non-existent. Actually talking with a dentist or orthodontist is non-existent. Their Byte for life guarantee is only a subscription plan for buying retainers. Bait and switch: They use false advertising to hook customers. After enough time passes (when the customer is unable to do a chargeback because enough time lapses) they switch and don't fulfill their end of the agreement. I now need a lawyer, but I will continue to fight this ridiculousness. Do not touch this company with a 10 foot pole and go see a professional. The aligners that they are manufacturing now aren't of the same quality. They harm the gums and teeth. They will approve anyone, but if you have any issues they will not stand by their product but will give the silent treatment.

Don't trust the reviews - Byte gives incentives ($30 bottle of whitening) for customers to write reviews. I fell for that at the beginning of my treatment when I had all my hope up. Now, 9 months later, (NINE!), all I can say is that this company is a JOKE! I've had little to NO shift in my bottom teeth and I've been wearing my aligners RELIGIOUSLY every night, plus the hyper byte. Here's the thing - they claim that their "evening aligners" have great results and in a very similar time frame to the all day aligners (and make you pay a hefty premium for it). It all sounded great except for the premium - but less time, same results! WRONG! That is FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! I was able to change aligners at a much slower pace than the all day ones and their lack of good engineering just makes you wonder how their are in business. The aligners fit terribly! With gaps of air, all wonky and borderline dangerous. I contacted the company at the END of my treatment, showing pictures of the insignificant change in my smile and needless to say, their response has been nothing but appalling. It's been weeks since I sent them photos of my smile, with my aligners on/ off/ with my previous aligners on/ whatever they ask and they simply ignored it. I asked for a new impression kit to start this joke of a treatment all over again in the email, but at this point with their lack of response, I just want a refund for their false advertising! What a waste of my time and money. PS: I've had Smile Direct Club before so I'm not new to aligners. While I wasn't a fan of wearing their aligners all day every day (hence WHY I switched to Byte), SDC worked and worked FAST! I'll be giving them a try now for their evening aligners now that they have them and seeing if I have better luck. PS, I was planning to fix my smile in time for my wedding day... well that ship has sailed...................... Sigh...

1st I was so excited to start Customer service is great. very helpful and quick to respond back. The process has not been great thus far. I have worn the aligners for 3 mo. day into night to put in my full 22 hrs also using hyper Byte. and no significant if any change at all. Still trusting the process, I wore braces before and after time my teeth shifted. I don't have that much to change except for this 1 upper tooth and straighten out the lower half. None of that has been corrected. I've heard of so many great reviews, that is why I trusted to go with Byte vs any other company. At this time I can't say a whole lot as I haven't been promised what I was suppose to receive in 3 mo. I'm very dissatisfied with this process so far. I also paid in full for my daughter and I.

I was deciding which aligner company I was going to use (there are other options just as cheap) and Byte emailed and texted me daily for a week trying to get my business. It's the only reason I decided to go with them because I knew I'd have questions doing at home aligners so I wanted a reliable company.I got my aligners and the first issue was that the bottom left hand side of the aligner had a huge gap between my gums and my teeth, I could stick my tongue under it.I emailed the Byte rep about it, no answer. I emailed another Byte rep about it, no answer.A week goes by.I email the Byte help address, their policy is that they will get back to you in less than 48 hours. It's been 48 hours, still no answer, delaying the process of fixing my teeth further. Do NOT go with Byte. Once they have your money they will not help any further.  I paid almost 2k because they promised I would have someone to walk me through this process and help me with whatever questions I may have throughout it. I did NOT have that experience in the least. Give your money to a different company. This was a lot of money for me, esp since covid hit and my hours were reduced. I'm SO disappointed.

For anyone who has a treatment time of over 15 weeks, Byte does not inform you that they only send up to 15 aligners at a time, nor do they reach out to you when it’s time to order the remaining ones. Byte should contact individuals knowing that shipping takes 4-6 weeks. It should not be up to the person to wonder why there are fewer aligners than promised. No one from the byte team has been in contact with me for 4 months. Throughout this process, I was made unaware that your company sends fewer aligners if they surpass 15 weeks. There should be updates throughout this treatment. 4-6 weeks means I will go 1-3 weeks without treatment for my teeth -- time that could've been put towards working on my teeth. When I receive the 4-weeks worth of aligners, that will make my treatment one month longer than it should have been.

Hi Erica! We appreciate your feedback. Please know, it is never our intention to have you misinformed about our treatment for any reason. The reason for only sending partial treatment is to ensure that we can confirm your progress is tracking well- we wouldn't want to send additional aligners that aren't doing the job, and your safety will always be our number one priority. Our care team makes sure to reach out at least every 30 days, and we ask for progress photos via your account to make sure you are tracking well. I started treatment with them for 10 months already, my teeth are straight all I have in an underbite and one small gap on side of teeth and every time I get package of aligners, all they are doing is moving my teeth more in instead of my teeth being straight and then I let them know I get another package and it’s not moving my teeth forward and gap is still there mind you a small gap, I refuse to continue to have them play around with my teeth with the moving back and forth thing, I asked for a refund because the This simple thing I have to do on my teeth they cannot fix, they refuse to give me my money back? Am I wrong for asking for refund when they cannot obviously fix my teeth? Or should I wait for one of them to fall off with the moving back and forth! Do not purchase anything with them, I really thought they were great but obviously they can’t get the job done!
