There is absolutely NOTHING I like about this company. In the past year, never not once that I have needed the company I hored to cover my home appliance have stepped up and covered anything. The last eing my leaking water heater. " They don't cover leaks in water heaters! So I ask, WHAT DO YOU COVER? They left me without hot water in the middle of winter for until now 6 days and do they care? NO! Im the one that has to be on the phone chasing them to get back to me. Worst company ever!

Buyer beware! I would have left 0 stars is it were an option. We moved to Houston and bought a new house 3 months ago. When we tried to file claim for maintenance on our heater they said they couldn’t provide the service unless we had 3 years is maintenance records. We don’t because we just bought the house and it’s only 5 years old. Why would you buy a home warranty for a new house if to fix something it requires 3 years of maintenance records?

Disapointed in how this was presented and how they try to get out of paying for repairs. AHS is much better, you get what you pay for. I have owned my home for 1 year, however I was told I had to have 3 years of service documents for my furnace. How do you get that when you only have home for one year? Also had to take pictures of unit and send, contractor they sent was not allowed to do that. Previously had AHS, they were fast. Also it took 3 weeks to finally come to a small payment for the repairs of my furnace. It is a furnace and it is winter.

We had a contract with them for three years the first year, they were really good to us but the second and third year was totally the opposite sometimes they would come and tell us that they couldn’t even fix our oven but couldn’t tell us why and this time we had a pipe problem and called them but had to wait more than two days and since we were tired of waiting just called another company.

When you cancel the policy you will lose all the money you paid. They wont tell you when selling. Worst company ever seen. They wont repair expensive appliances rather assess and give 200/300$. It's upto you to fix/buy new one where I spent 1750 from my pocket. While cancellation they took non discounted premiums + all service cost they did as part of the contract + cancellation charges. In 4 months with exaggerated premiums I lost more than $1000 DONT LOSE MONEY. SERVICES ALSO VERY WORST. I FEEL IT IS A SCAM, SELLING CONTRACTS WITH SO MANY HIDDEN DETAILS. DONT LOSE YOUR MONEY

Beware! This company is a scam! Called the company and told them my water heater is not working and leaking. Instead of sending a plumber out to look at the problem, they immediately sent an email stating the policy does not cover this issue without even coming out to assess. I requested for cancellation of the policy immediately and they advised that there is a charge of $75 just to cancel the policy. Besides, the call center is overseas and half the time, you do not understand what they are trying to explain to you over the phone. I am going back to American Home Shield!

Terrible experience with this company. I was told certain things were covered and that if I wanted to cancel I would only pay the pro-rated cost for cancellation. After I signed the contract I noticed that there is a $75 service fee for every covered home visit and also a $75 fee in addition to the pro-rated loss for cancellation. To me, this is fraudulent advertising that needs to be exposed so others will not fall into this dishonesty trap.

if I could give negative stars I would- Im surprised there isn't a class action lawsuit against these people. Below is the fine print on their claims for anything. this is how they get away with it. The cash settlement shall be in an amount not to exceed the depreciated value of the component/appliance being replaced. They quote you on the depreciated value of the part you are claiming- so that could be anything that they deem as valid. Customer service is a joke, plus to cancel they charge all these fees ( $75 to cancel plus any prorated amount ).

The BIGGEST LIARS EVER!!!! I brought a home warranty from this company for my home. When I discovered my bathroom shower was not dispensing hot water I called for service. Well as they usually do they denied the claim. Then they told me that if I purchase an additional policy for fixtures it would be covered, so I brought the additional policy. Then 48 hrs later I get another email stating that the repair still wasn't covered! I asked for a refund of both policies and I haven't heard from them in 3 days now. PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! THEY ARE THE BIGGEST LIARS OUT THERE!!
