Out and out fraud! Sears refuses to honor their service agreement. They use stall tactics and put customers on hold or transfer them from one person to another none of which can resolve the customer's concerns or issues. They are crooks and ripoff arts. No one should buy or trust Sears to honor their service agreements.

True garbage! Tech came to fix our refrigerator and it's worse now than before. Said they would send someone back out but no show. Now they say we have to make another appt. for a tech - 7 days from now Buy anything but sears!!!

Their customer service is horrible, and their service in general is beyond awful, this is the worst company I have ever dealt with, trying to get service work does is almost impossible. I definitely will not be renewing my home warranty service with sears.

HORRIBLE! Don’t waste your money! They don’t do anything they say they would do! They make appointments & they cancel at the last moment, they could not fix my washer, they left me 3 weeks without a stove, charged me extra $75 fee & lied about the total amount I was to pay!

I have had a warranty with them for 5+ years, and now when I needed it to cover an issue with my refrigerator they refused to cover it. What they said the technician reported to them was not what the technician's report actually said.

SHW does whatever they have to to NOT cover your repair. You can't get a person on the phone to save your life. The NEVER CALL BACK when they say they will. The service people they send seem disreputable at best. Buyer Beware. Look for a different compnay

They are awful!! I have been waiting fir 30 days to have my washing machine fixed. They are still looking for parts!! When you call the wait time is approximately 20-45 minutes. Then they transfer you and disconnect you! Then you wait fir a supervisor for an additional 45 minutes and they disconnect you. They are awful awful awful!

Their techs lie to customers to sell their home warranty. Then when you try to cancel you get transferred from person to person for hours, never reaching the right department in an attempt to make you give up. They don't answer emails so calling is the only way to get anything done. They should be investigated for fraud.

Can I give them a zero rating?? A complete ripoff. Had service appointment 1/6/21 for dishwasher. Been waiting for part ever since. Multiple calls but they are completely indifferent. Last call asked how long I had to wait until they take action and they just said until part becomes available. "Some people have been waiting over a year".

They lie to you from the start to get a sale and the customer service reps clearly are from another country and don't care about your issues. They make sure when you initially purchase the warranty you speak to an employee that live in the United States.

NEVER ever buy a Sears Warranty. If something goes wrong and they can't readily fix it, it is too bad for you. You could wait months to have anything resolved, if ever. Save your money and buy a product and warranty from someplace else.

you need repairs, they talk you into buying the warrenty but never tell you that it wont cover a prexisiting problem, only new problems, Repair tech tells you that the damage he did will be covered and promises a replacement washer...but no. Thats not true and no damage caused by repairman, is covered. Big rip off.

Sears home warranty has been unresponsive to my requests to repair or replace my refrigerator. I've been given several deadlines by which they promised to offer "options" to replace or offer compensation for a refrigerator that cannot be repaired because they cannot find parts. Each deadline passes with no action.

Took 2 weeks to schedule apt. Technician didn't show. Then, closed the order. I have never seen a more horribly structured bureaucratic nightmare. I will not be shopping at Sears or its affiliates because of how I was treated by customer service. Pitiful.

They give you the run around. Had a service guy out said unit needed to be replaced. A week goes by and I called him. He said they don't use him anymore. I called Sears back they said I would have to find someone to come back out and start all over. Sears lies to everyone. They say it's sears but it's a not.

Covered appliance that broke and earliest appointment was in MAY! Got a new one from Home Depot. NEVER use this horrible service. .

Furnaces are covered for replacement if they only cost $1500.00. Do not buy a warranty, there isn't one. Throw 69.99 in the trash instead of this service. Sears should be ashamed. See you in small claims court. Total Scam!!

The Absolute Worst!!!! I have been redirected to every department in the company. If you don't have enough service repairman in an area don't accept monthly service payments from your customers!!!!! FYI, for all those who have been scammed (including myself), I called and cancelled my agreement and removed my credit card from automatic billing. Two months later they sent me a bill for the remaining contract balance. I called to inform them I would not be paying. They said that’s fine and they currently do not have a collection agency.

It has taken over 30 days for a repair form my refrigerator and stove. After 30 days and 12 phone calls Sears is now assigning a new service provider. Now I have to have another technician visit and wait for the new company to get the parts. Sears Home Warranty is a scam, don't sign up. It will be nothing but hassles.

They sold me the warranty with promises of hassle free repairs and saved money. I got multiple service calls , repairs not completed and deductible fees. Also be clear that if you are unhappy with them it will cost more to cancel than your monthly $50 fee! Overall I had 2 appliances have breakdowns and they fixed neither.

I've been trying for 6 months to get a problem resolved with my oven. Every time I call, I get the run around that a check will be sent in the mail in 7-10 business days. I'm currently on hold for a supervisor and the call center person keeps trying to end the call. This is the WORST service I have ever experienced .

I was stood up 2 different times, the repair day was sent to the provider incorrectly. the wait on line is horrible. they will never connect with a supervisor. i was hung up on 3 times. it was the worst experience ever. save your money and go with a warranty that is not through sears!

I would give them no star because they really scam people. Does anyone know how to cancel this warranty? I really need to stop paying for nothing. Very bad customer service. Technicians are lame and don't even know what they are doing. I hope that someone reads these reviews before getting this warranty. I just wish I would had.

Our hot water heaters stopped working so no hot water. The warranty only covers 1. Can't be repaired after 5 days. Won't issue a check to be applied to another business to repair the heater faster as with appliances. Warranty is a joke. Will never buy any Sears products again. All lies. Can't give a no star rating.

Sears home warranty is the worst warranty service EVER!! I’ve had them 8 months and never used them I was told that I could cancel at any time without penalty! I just tried to cancel and was told the cancellation fee would be $230 !!! and I had to keep for 1 yr. not to be charged fee! BEWARE!!! LIARS!!!

Worst thing I ever did was purchase this home warranty. The way their system works is frustrating, slow and most of the technicians 100% terrible. The fastest they fixed anything was 3 weeks, so enjoy being without A/C, dishwasher or anything for at least this long when something breaks.

We are going on month 4 with no refrigerator with 4 children in the home because they keep sending repair men who can't seem to repair it but they won't make the call to replace it. Technichen didn’t show up and they reschedule another appointment without advising me , I had to wait all day and I specially had this day off without pay and all they said sorry after 1 hour the appointment is over. I loved Sears and their warranties for over 30 years until yesterday. I had the full house warranty that was expiring on Jan 31. Just called to renew and was informed that the HVAC coverage is no longer offered along with other coverages. I just bought new kenmore washer and dryer because of loyalty. No longer a fan of sears. Sorry but run away.

It is nightmarish just to think about Sears Home Warranty. They failed every aspect of what they promised to offer. They signed me up for an automatic renewal when the agreement was for one year, and kept me on the phone for hours without someone correcting it. It is a total ripoff that deserves a class action!

This warranty is terrible. They been out 5 different times to fix my leaking dishwasher and it still keeps leaking after every service repair. They wanna keep sending a technician out to try to repair instead of just replacing it. Total waste of money and such an inconvenience. Would not recommend this warranty to anyone.

Merry Christmas to all. Canceling my Sears Home Warranty today because they seem unable, unwilling, or incapable of repairing our fridge. It's been broken since December 2nd. They've been here twice. We're living out of coolers and had to throw everything out. They said they could stop by on January 3rd maybe.
