Nightmare!! Purchased convection microwave and then home warranty. Long story short!! Called on microwave repair 5 different times. Finally said they woul replace it. That was last April 2020!! Called numerous times, get people with no English skills keep saying on way. This is January 2021 still no contact from them little loan the microwave!!! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

Customer service is horrible, it is extremely difficult to get through to anyone and they NEVER HAVE ANYONE IN YOUR AREA. Instead of just paying the deductible like other home warranties ive had in the past, they have you contact a provider, have the provider call when they are at your house, give an estimate, AND THEN you submit a receipt to them and fight to get your refund back. DO NOT RECOMEND.. switching back to AMERICAN HOME SHIELD, theyre not perfect, but a 100% better than this company!

Awful, awful, awful....I almost went insane just trying to make an appointment through the automated hell before being handed off to some poor soul that did not speak English well and could not understand me, nor I her. Needless to say, no one showed up for the appointment and I was sent an automated call to once again schedule another appointment through the automated hell system. FYI, this happened multiple times before I wasted another hour just trying to find someone who would cancel my service. Never again, Sears, never again.

We have ben trying to get out dishwasher serviced since Aug.9th to no avail. We've called several times and end up in call centers in Columbia and God knows where else. I've submitted complaints to the Better Business Bureau, and Federal Trade Commission. This place should be out of business, They take your money each month and do nothing!! These guys should not be allowed to deceive customers. The last guy that was here did such a terrible job, the dishwasher which is NOT in use, get water backed up since he rerouted it with a hose that was not installed correctly!

When I signed up, I was promised that I would have Sears service work on my high-end Sears appliances. My induction cooktop is broken and I was told Sears has no availability for the next 2 months. They sent me to 3 "qualified" repair people, each of whom, not only can't work on an induction cooktop, they didn't know what it was. I have spent an inordinate amount of time trying to get this sorted. Now that I'm trying to cancel my warranty, I've been told they are charging me for another 1/2 even though I'm fully paid through next month. They are the worst!

Horrible wished I would have looked at the reviews before I purchased this warranty. Please do not get this warranty its a waste of time and money. The vendors only do the minimum work. My tub was leaking down to my basement, and Harris Plumbing and Drain Care LLC only changed the showerhead and, it' still is leaking. The process of setting up the claim was easy but getting someone to come out and fix it long.

Wish I could give this service 0 Stars. I'm 73 years old and I have to tell you that this has been, without question, the absolute worst service I've EVER had. And calling in to find out what's going on, has been a nightmare. This week I spent 45 minutes on hold only to have the call (not for the first time) disconnected. I've been without my clothes dryer for over six weeks. The minute I get this resolved, I will drop this service (and I use the word "service" loosely). Horrible! Just awful! Save your money!!!!!!!

Don't buy warranty! If I could give no stars ,I would. This is a waste ,6 weeks for part to come in on range. No repair on washer or microwave. Have to keep year at $69.99 If can't repair will replace with what they choose or they will cash out for amount they choose They only gave $388 for our $800 microwave DON'T BE SUCKED IN!!!!! Front load washer door doesn't always unlock wouldn't repair bc didn't do when repair person was here. Repair person didn't do anything on microwave but come in and say " you need a new door" Door was $477 ,they deemed unrepairable. Horrible!

Sears home warranty is a joke. My refrigerator has needed repairing for two months. Parts have been at my house for a month. Two people have come out. Said that they didn’t bring the tools necessary. Said they would come back that day and never showed up. I called back and they set another appointment 6 weeks out. Terrible! The worse experience with home warranty I’ve ever had!

Got roped into purchasing the Sear's Appliance Warranty Plan when a technician came out to fix the ice maker on a 1yr Kenmore refrigerator that I bought from Sears. Tried to cancel the Plan but said I was locked in for 12 months! So I have to keep paying $50 a month! for a total of $600. The technician tricked me because he made it sound like I could cancel and I did not receive any details of the plan. I won't make that mistake again!

DO NOT BUY THIS WARRANTY! SCAM. I have never experienced such deplorable service. 3 year old Refrigerator stopped cooling July 22nd 2020. Tech came out the following week, looked in the freezer compartment, stayed 5 minutes, said it needed 2 parts. Waited until Aug 21st for parts, called customer service several times while waiting for the part, told something different each time.. Part installed Aug 25th, Refrigerator is still broken! Called for service, still waiting!!! On hold with Warranty Dept for over 2 hours, No one answers, no one cares.

I CALLED and made an appointment because my dryer was making a loud noise. I advised that the problem was that it was making a loud noise when I called. They charged the $75 deductible on my credit card. Then when the repairman came, he advised they do not do ANYTHING when the appliance is making a noise. So, if the belt goes out afterwards, I have to pay the deductible again. At no time when I made the appointment was I told this. VERY UNHAPPY! I give no stars.

Plz plz plz can someone shut down these frauds ..... its a scam .. they r a team of cheaters and they dont fix anything. They send an electrician to fix our well pump . He took $100 and submitted a report saying the warranty does not cover the job . He told us he does not repair well pumps i wish I recorded that. All lies we paid $4k to get it fix which sears was suppose to fix under warranty. A team of frauds.Dont waste a single penny on this. Btw we payed extra for well pump coverage.

I have been waiting over a month to get a refund on my dehumidifier which can not be fixed! They finally after calls to 5 different phone numbers ,gave me a claim number ...2 weeks later I finally got a call they will send an email for a refund. 2 weeks later no email yet! Can’t get anyone to answer phone ..waited 1hr on hold! I will never use this company for repair contract again! I have been with them for 30 yrs....this is ridiculous And they should be investigated!!!

The worse service plan experience. Technician was in my home for 10 minutes, took $75 service call fee, with the promise I would hear from the company in 48 hours with some level of resolve. I have spent hours on hold and promises of a call back. Finally after my irate call three weeks after the visit they advised that they are not able to offer me anything! Totally opposite of what the technician advised. Would not recommend under any circumstances.

I would give less than one star if I could. Extremely dishonest and misleading organization. Refusing to provide included preventative visit for air conditioner. No recourse by phone or email. I have invested hours of my week into trying to make a simple appointment and have gotten nowhere. When I am fortunate enough to get to a human being in the US, the call mysteriously drops. DO NOT PAY FOR THIS WARRANTY!!! Sears is clearly continuing to implode from within.

O stars!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been trying to get my refrigerator fixed for 6 months... They have replaced the compressor twice, the mother board the condenser coil, and filter dryer. I have taken off work approximately 10 times, spend hundreds of hours on the phone and still have a NON WORKING REFRIGERATOR!!!! The warranty is a total waste of $$ and SEAR CORPORATE will not help!!!!!!

Not even one star. This has been a horrible experience. We have had Sears out 4 times to repair a beeping noise in our refrigerator. When they left yesterday, it was left in demo mode so the compressor wasn't on. I've spent 2 hours on the phone with customer service and a technician and they can't help. They said they can come out again next week. It was basically, an "oh well too bad". Meanwhile, I'm throwing away all of my food. Horrible.....

On Friday, 5/1/20 I signed up with Sears Home Warranty when I scheduled a repair appt Mon 5/4 for my LG washer. On Saturday, 5/2 I was able to reset the washer myself after viewing a youtube video. I cxld appt then called to cxl warranty sign up. I was told to think it over. I read all the horrifying reviews and called to cancel today 5/5. They actually charged me a cancellation fee of $25.00. I am so glad I cancelled since this is NOT the kind of company I want to do business with. Stay away!

SCAM!!!!! My water heater broke and when I called to ask if it was covered I was told it wasn't. Later, (about a week), after re-reviewing my contract I found out it was covered. When I produced all of the necessary receipts Sears would not reimburse me because they said they did not have a record of the phone call. Not only do I not shop at Sears anymore, but I do not buy from any of their associating partners.

Stay away! They billed me twice in the amount of $839.88 for the annual plan March 14 & 16. That's $1679.76!. I have requested a refund for the second billing and have talked to several customer service representatives. Each time they tell me they will refund my overbill but as of May 1, 2020, I have not been refunded my money. This is my third year signing up for their warranty plan and based on this service there will not be a fourth. o disappointed.

My central AC unit has been in repair status for 5 months. Keep adding Freon, fix a leak here and there. Could not find a replacement A coil for the leaking one as the unit was old. Numerous calls and service visits with recommended system replacement from three different repair guys. They just do not care. They should be shut down for deceptive trade practice.

This company is the worst I just tried to cancel my warranty after 6 attempts to get my fridge that they supposedly fixed back in Jan fixed .... and each time they’re scheduled to come they cancel!!! Or just don’t show up !!! They’re beyond pathetic ... I tried to cancel the warranty and they tried to scam me by saying I had to verify my payment and pay 4.95 to cancel the warranty ... they are the worst !!! Gave them the wrong info!! Am not paying them anymore money!!! I’m done

Bad idea. Scam. Payed in for years, called about a water heater and was told initially it was not covered. They hung up. Called back and they said we will check. Then told us it would be 48 hours to approve a claim and we only had one choice of contractor. Called the contractor and they were supposed to call back in 24 hrs - no call. Ever. Wife is talking to another "clerk" now. Don't do it!

I was able to cancel but there is a fee. It is worth it so I don’t have to deal with their incompetence and long waits. You save nothing because your aggravation is sky high. GOOD RIDDANCE.

BEWARE! DO NOT purchase anything with this company! They provided the worst customer service I have ever received. It was a debacle trying to communicate with them. They insisted on ordering a $1300 part themselves instead of letting the local AC company in Houston get it. They dragged their feet for WEEKS in the summer heat of HOUSTON. I finally ended up paying for the AC repair myself rather than risking a mold bloom in the swamp of Houston. Save some money for home repair and do not engage with this rip off scheme of an industry.

1/28/20 repairman supposed to install parts ordered for Kenmore side-by-side fridge which is icing up on fridge side! 3 of 4 parts came in. We had removed all food per tech. No call from anyone! Have been talking with Sears since then, but they go around in circles! Meanwhile, food is being wasted. What good is a warranty? Would never get Kenmore again. Sad since Sears products always were the standard.

they most certainly have cancellation fees. I tried to get a drier repaired that they refused to service because it was in the garage. After that they would not cancel my account WITHOUT charging me a cancellation fee. It took a year of disputing their monthly charges on my charge card and when they finally cancelled my account because it was a new year all of the previous months of disputed charges showed up on my charge card. Do NOT TRUST THEM to automatically charge your credit cards for ANYTHING. They're totally unethical

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BUY THIS PRODUCT. This is a complete scam. We paid for this warranty for months and as soon as we made a claim, they cancelled our claim AND our warranty. They said they would refund 1 month's premium. They did not. Waste of time, energy and money! No amount of calls or threats helped. This should be a class action suit. Shame on Sears! If only I could give it less than 1 star!

DO NOT Subscribe to this service! It is consumer fraud! I had the warranty for over a year. I filed a claim for a washing machine that stopped working and Sears immediately cancelled my warranty AND my claim! When I contacted them for the status of the claim they ignored my requests for information, were purposely misleading and deceitful. They gave me assurances that they would respond to my questions and NEVER did. They gave me an emails address to write to that went NOWHERE. They TOOK my money and when it came time to honor the contract they did NOTHING. This company is the WORST!!

Guy shows on Monday and says your not covered but must pay $100.00 for showing up ? Then I call customer service they say the door is not under warranty just the opener not the door or springs . This is an overpriced plan and NOT worth the $.Our new washer broke in early Oct. and after 5 service calls it was still broken. The tech was not able to repair the machine but instead of offering a credit for a new one they just kept scheduling more repair calls. It was still not working in January so we had to just purchase a new machine the $100 deductible was nonrefundable even though they didn't repair the machine.

My refrigerator had a major issue. Called Sears and it took them 4 visits over 4 months to repair. My error occurred during the second visit when I agreed to sign up to the annual contract, because the repair technician lead me to believe it was going to be a huge cost saving based on this repair. Needless to say the warranty company pocketed $300 over six months and charged me $202.00 for an early release from the contract. They are awful and scammers. Do not fall for this sales pitch. I wasted $300!!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I started my service in December and had to wait until January for my service to kick in, fine not a problem. Two days after my service kicks in they denied my claim!!!! Oh but they took my $69.99 though, what a scam. I thought I would recall in the appointment when I did I got a service provider to come out and when they got there they told me the job was canceled and I would have to pay the $100 deductible. I would be reluctant if I were you to use this scam.

I paid $49.99 a month for 2 1/2 years for a total of more than $1,800 and never made a claim. I canceled my warranty on December 30, 2019, and was promised a refund of $65.97. It has now bee 16 days and no refund. I've called twice and been assured that it was being processed. Sears never hestiated to take my monthly payment each month but I can't get a refund! And the customer service personnel are rude and patronizing.

Every time you call you get run around. Take several calls and months to get something repaired. my dryer needed repair and I placed a claim almost 2 months before cancelling the contract. I called almost every other day to get a status. They told me over and over that even if the contract would cancel and work started would be completed. They dragged their feet and now I am being told that the work/replacement can not take place because the contract is cancelled. they lied.

I"'ve spent hours on the phone trying to get warranty claim service arranged. When I do, they cancel appointments with zero notice. When appointments are scheduled they do it blindly without asking for availability. Then they are surprised when nobody is home waiting for 8 hours. Ridiculous does not even begin to describe my experience. STAY AWAY!!!

The 9 to 5 window schedule is false. I’ve been rescheduled at 5 pm after waiting the entire day, for the same work order, 3 times with a delay of 2 and 3 days on each schedule, and my equipment is still not repaired. Too bad I did not read the reviews before I purchased this warranty. The company sells their warranty as Sears but it isnt really Sears. It's a company called Cinch Home Warranty. Then, when you make a claim, they search for reasons to not cover your appliance repairs. They use code words like "manufacturers defect", "structural defect" etc.. In order to deny your claim. I'm contacting the Attorney General first thing in the morning. I recommend everyone do the same so that we can file a class action lawsuit.

This is a Scam using the Old Sears name. Hardly anything is actually covered. Extremely difficult to cancel unless you cancel your credit card. They'll take a "deductible" for a repair call, keep you hanging for several weeks and eventually tell you that the repair is not covered. It's heartbreaking to see the state of what once used to be America's premier corporation. There really is no other word for it other than "SCAM."

We have been without a water heater for weeks because it had to be ordered, picked up by the assigned plumber and then scheduled for installation by that plumber. The plumber assigned to us was unreachable. They never called back when we were able to leave a message and now their mailbox is full. When we requested a new plumber it has taken much more time for a supervisor to approve the change. We are still waiting!

Bosch Dishwasher. Deceased dad purchased 3 year Sears Warranty. To keep this short, DO NOT BUY A SEARS WARRANTY!!! 2 years fixer dude been to home 9 times! Call a rep to get information about what takes to declare appliance a Lemon. Masters at the "delay" technique. Goal is to drive client away so client buys new on their own dime. Very very hard to achieve equitable settlement. ALSO, all customer service outsourced to foreign country, put in your hearing aid, sounds like they are on the moon.

Technician was unable to repair our Jenn-Air cooktop (9/17/19). Sears shipped a GE cooktop (10/10/19). Technician installed it improperly (10/16/19) and it fell apart (10/17/19). Another technician came to inspect unit (10/2419). He said it needed to be replaced and called his supervisor with that information. Numerous calls since then but no action.

This is a scam. Paid for service for over a year. When furnace broke down they sent someone out. Within 30 seconds the technician said oh no this is not covered. I asked why and he said because it heated the hallway and hallways are not covered. I explained to him that it also had a bed room and then he said it was not covered because the unit was located on the roof. Say way from this scam. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! Where do they get their contractors? From no shows, late, and rescheduling, that sums up my experience. Cancelled my service before after a year. Was told I could still get heating checkup. When I called for appointment could not schedule until Oct 18 one yr after last checkup. I was out of town until 1st Nov. You guessed it! Would not fulfill their agreement. 3 customer service folks, all Sorry and yes sorry service and no help although I paid for this and got nothing but a waste of my time. 👿😞😢.

Lots of money but I the small type, it says they do n’t actually cover critical items and they break like the door of our washing machine. Paid them $600 per year and $75 per visit and then they do not cover a breakage. And try to cancel, they claim you have a contract and try to back charge you for old repairs. Beware.
