SAVE YOUR MONEY !!!! If I could give them Zero stars I absolutely would. They are sooo difficult to comunícate with. They are persistent in selling you a home warranty but their customer service is awful. They give you the run a round and come with reasons why they cannot repair your appliances. I cannot believe that they are still in the Home warranty business. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

FRUSTRATING Do not fall for this company. If they can repair your items you are good. If they can not repair your item you will be on the phone constantly trying to contact a human. They have layers and layers of bots, AI chat and email links that do nothing. You will have to contact an upgrade in warranty division and ask them to help you reach a human. Be nice to them they can't help it that their team members don't do their job. Don't get stuck in this loop of never ending promises.

Please BEWARE !!!!!! do not buy this protection plan. My A/C has to be replaced. It has been 1 month without A/C in Miami. Sears approved the replacement but They haven't replaced it yet. I have been calling every 3 days to check the status and they said to me that I have to wait. I have been paying this plan for more that 6 years and now that I need them, they treat me like a garbage.

Have maintained contract for 2 years. About 1 month ago, problem with washer. After paying deductible, repairman came out 3 days later. Parts are no longer available an we are still waiting 4 weeks later for the”resolution dept” to send a check. We have 7 phone calls with excuses each time. Call center is in Columbia. Difficult to understand phone people due to accents. No confidence that we will actually get a check. Going to cancel. Very disappointed.

We still haven't had our washer fixed. Paying for a warranty for nothing and paid the service call, and he just never came back. Doesn't respond to messages about a part that was supposedly found to be ordered? Five weeks without a washing machine. And of course there are no real people at any customer service phone number line. Got bamboozled with this one!

Poor service, long delays with service and parts. On our most recent and LAST protection plan, we reported our need for service in October but had to wait through not only Thanksgiving but also the Christmas holidays to get service and parts finally in January. I would NOT recommend Sears Protection Plans. At one time Sears was our go to source for appliances and protection plans. Unfortunately that ship has sailed. The current CEO has run the company into the grounds. Don’t but a Sears Appliance Protection Plan!!!

I have been waiting for the refund on my refrigerator since October 31, 2022. The refund is for the replacement refrigerator, since my current refrigerator is irreparable. It took at least 6 months for a technician to even advise me of that. I am currently keeping my food in a cooler and buying ice so that it does not spoil. I spoke to someone today whom yet again told me the “check was in the mail”. I’ve been given that same spiel for months. Today I threatened to contact the Better Business Bureau and leave a review.

Sears Home Warranty sent a technician to fix my wall oven. The technician came and said he would wait for the parts to come in to fix the oven. The parts never came in and the technician never came back. When I call him, he tells me to call Sears. When I call sears, they transfer you from one department to another, and when I look at my phone it says 57 minutes of calling, and nothing was done. They keep passing the buck. And if you want to cancel, they will put you in circulation, moving from one department to another. Sears. Warranty operates like a scam.

Worst home repair service ever. I waited for 5 months fpr my drier to be repaired. I was hanging clithes to dry in my living room as we live over a half an hour away from the nearest laundromat. After me finally freaking out on someone in customer service they decided to replace my unit a week later. Two years prior to that I waiting 3 months for a new washing machine. It's so frustrating to wprk with them. After 5 years of torture we're finally leaving them.

Absolutely HORRIBLE!!! We spent the $75 deductible for a guy to come out and say " yes you fridge is knocking but is working (his words) so the company wont let me repair/replace it", $75 dollars down the drain not including the $49.99 for the last 3 years. Then is the last month they sent a notice will be raised to $56.99 a month....done as we are listening to our fridge Knock!!! And then to go into the stop direct deposit stop and cancellation on the phone with them!!!! It is better to pay the bank the fee to restrict it!!! HORRIBLE company and now understand why bankrupt .

Had to cancel an appointment because of a no show, no call or email or text on 2 occasions. I've been a member for years, and I still have no operational dryer. I requested a refund afterwards. Looking for another home warranty and canceling this one.

I have made 3 claims/requests over 3 months ago and nothing has been done. They have canceled appointments, and have said they would call and then did not. They lied to me about how many appliances could be serviced under one claim. Customer service has been the worst! They don’t seem to be able to follow what I am saying, they’re rude and have never solved a problem. Oh and of course it’s difficult to get to talk to a human in the first place. They are right up there with Comcast as worst company ever! Not surprised they received such a low rating! Do not use this service!!

OMG terrible. Powered by Cinch. A nighmare! paying59.99monthly +100 deductible every time they come out-which is fine. The nightmare is no one comes out they keep rescheduling, but again no one comes out or they say here's the number of the appliance company schedule your own appt which I did; Then I call to confirm appt. and the say no record of appt. I paid so far $400 and still repairs are not done. I paid 59.99 thru oct-jan + my 100$ deductible=400$

This has been the worst service I have ever experienced with a service contract. This company should be ashamed of themselves. Sears is offering fraudulent services. I can understand that certain items are not covered. However, to be strung along for 3.5 months is beyond reasonable. I will ensure that share my experience with everyone in my network. This is likely why Sears is virtually out of business.

Been with Sears Home Warranty Services for approximately 10 years. They have met their end of the bargain till October of last year. Our garage door Craftsman motor (20 yrs old) broke down and they still haven’t repaired or replaced it. Their technician has responded twice but appears as if I know more than he does. Sears was alway a good example of American Pride workmanship but are now following third world country examples. Indeed a disappointment to say the least. I wish there was a less than one star rating.

This is the worse home warranty company in existence. They will wait to send out a technician for 2 weeks. They give a time between 8am-5pm so vague and your entire day is screwed. It is unacceptable to make customers wait over a week and then give an 8 hour wait time. Beware of Sears Home Warranty. This company is a joke. The worse customer service and they don't care about customers. Never buy Sears Home Warranty!

Compared to the phone service for my Master Plan Agreement that I have had for over 20 years, it is a joke, you cannot easily set up a repair for an appliance anymore, it is so complex you are not able to reach a human and must do ALL on line which, I am 71 am not technical and there IS NO PHONE NUMBER TO CONNECT TO A HUMAN. I will not be buying this service again and am now searching for a new company. Ridiculous amount of time and not a single result. My dryer now has been out for almost two weeks, NO HELP from Sears, AT ALL.

Can never talk to anyone and they contract with poor companies. You pay upfront to schedule but there is no immediate service, god help you if heat goes out in winter. It’s not like you can wait and you can’t talk to anyone, it’s all computerized and there is no option of urgency or to discuss anything. Don’t waste your money, there’s no piece of mind here just frustration from start to finish. I’m cancelling.

I like nothing about this company. Even after I've cancelled the account, they are still trying to collect money for services they'd never performed on my house. They are unreliable had no providers and the few times they found one he was trying to get money for work he did not perform. Most of the time I had to look for my own provider. I then I did not ger reimbursed. Is amazing this company still on business.

If I could give a ZERO star, I would. I was lied to by a Sears technician that convinced me I could save hundreds on appliance repairs with the warranty. This was after he inspected them. He was being deceitful; the warranty does not cover any of those repairs/replacement parts, as he promised. Waste of time and money. BUYER BEWARE: AVOID SIGNING UP FOR THIS WARRANTY at all costs!

THEY ARE TRAINED TO BLOW YOU OFF. ALL JUST TRYING TO GET MY APPLIANCES REPAIRED. NONE OF MY PARTS ARE BEING DELIVERED TO FIX MY DRYER OR DISHWASHER. GOING ON A MONTH NOW. THEY CAN TAKE MY MONTHLY PAYMENT, BUT CANT SEEM TO COORDINATE A TECH WITH THE PARTS NEEDED TO FIX MY APPLIANCES. WASTED HUNDREDS ON THIS PLAN. DO NOT USE SEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just the worst. We're at two months and counting to repair our washer. They came out and said he had to order parts. Some parts came in and the one other part, it turns out, Sears wouldn't pay for it (I ordered it and got it in 4 days). You CAN NOT get it touch with anyone with Sears in this country. The rep set a repair date and no one came out. Looks like another 3 weeks. This is absolutely horrible. Also, you can't complain to Sears. Easy to understand why it went bankrupt.

I'm lost for word but all I know is that it's a terrible company and It's very overpriced i mean you have to pay to book an appointment by that I mean that you have to basically pay to tell them what's wrong with your appliance after which you pay again. Everything about it is overpriced and they don't make it clear on what's in your contract when you sign up for the warranty. They make it sound so easy like it's not a problem but you end up paying every month and you cannot get out of the contract.

DO NOT BUY THIS WARRANTY. I would give a negative rating if it was possible. The most shambolic incompetent service I’ve ever come across. The worst customer experience ever. To mend my fridge: 3 months and 7 days, 92 phone calls, 15 hours and forty minutes on the phone, 20 hours waiting for no show delivery people. And I’m still waiting ……. A ton of tears and stress. If you enjoy torture, then be my guest and sign up. Clearly sears do not have the processes or the partnerships in place to be able to deliver service. They should be shut down and all customers refunded.

Sears Home Warranty has failed to provide the service they contracted to do. They collect the money.... but they DO NOT provide the service they promise. The technicians have been NO SHOW for four appointments they scheduled with no call or notification of cancellation. They simply DO NOT COME to do the work. They then schedule another appointment date weeks later only to repeat the same process. NO SHOW! Sears will take your money but they DO NOT provide the service they promise. The rating is a bug fat ZERO!

Donot under any circumstances sign up for the Sears Home Warranty Plan! I repeat Don't, do it! They will not show up on your scheduled appointment time and then have the audacity to assign you up the day they want you to have! Please find some other home warranty service for home repairs because Sears should be ashamed of themselves. They put in a new air conditioning unit in my home less than three years ago and I have to repeatly call them out to fix it! I'm furious as hell and don't want anyone else to get suckered in with this company! Facts!

There are no longer any technicians in my geography but Sears Home Warranty did not tell me that information. They schedule appointments with us and when no one showed up they automatically rescheduled for us (this repeated a few times). I was then cut off from accessing my account online, which was the only way to communicate with the company about their services. This is absolutely the worst company service and communication I have experienced with any size organization. DO NOT BUY THIS WARRANTY.

I scheduled an appointment on their website for the repair of my refrigerator. I made it clear that it is located in the garage. They immediately charged me $75. When the technician showed up, he said that he will not work on it since it is in the garage.!!!! He just left. I contacted Sears, and spent hours with them on the phone to get my $75 back. They are not giving it back. What a bunch of crooks. My recommendation to anyone who is reading this review: Avoid SEARS Home Warranty.

Warranty in past has been good. Lately they are hard to get through to and this is the third time they have called and rescheduled the day they were suppose to come. When service rep. shows up they are the most unprofessional people I have ever seen. Warranty department is like their stores going down quickly. If you buy a warrant from sears be ready to be troubled by scheduling a service call.

I called to schedule a repair of my washing machine and I got a worker that did appear to schedule it as I was on hold and then I got a text confirmation but then the call dropped. I then called back to make sure it was a completed request and I got a different worker who couldn't seem to handle the payment at all. So then she asked me if I wanted the membership number and then the phone went silent as if she had it on mute and didn't come back. Terrible customer service.

I had a broken kitchen aid dishwasher. After 7 months of sending repair tech, deemed non repairable. They offered me a 600 Kenmore as a like replacement . No even close as 1200 kitchen aid. After 2 more months they raised it 850.00 installed. A month later they said we will send you 179.00 as we can't find a local tech. It cost me 290.00 to have it installed. Customer service just passes the issue around. It was a nightmare.

They totally dropped the ball on my repair. I have been without a frig for over a month now. They did not follow up on a part order that caused a further delay. Three times their supervisors did not call me back when I was told they would. Dealing with their operators has been very frustrating as I was on calls for over 2 hours last week and 90 minutes this week trying to get a resolution. Too much hand holding on my part. When all my parts finally arrived they then scheduled me out an additional 16 days for the repair to occur!

Awful is not a strong enough word. It takes at least 3 weeks even to get service. In addition, each time I have filed a claim, they have charged me the $100 service 'fee' TWICE. It takes an act of congress to get your $100 back. They sure took it quickly but the same cannot be said to refund you. Do yourself a favor, do not join or get this 'service'. Just, awful.

Worst SCAM going.. You Pay a monthly Service fee of $50 and then a $75 service fee on top of that should you need to request a repair only be turned down for the repair of a simple Dishwasher Rack.. First off what kind of product falls apart in 6 years and a Dishwasher Rack is not covered?? Worst customer service ever. Don’t try to call claims department, nobody will answer even after hours of waiting and days of trying. Even their other departments say how bad that department is and wish you luck. The only way to get a live customer service agent on the phone is to say you are canceling your service. I have been trying to reach claims department about a refund for 3 days and still no success.

I purchased the home warranty from Sears since they were coming out to replace a bake element in my downdraft range. 3 months later I starting having a error code on my range . They came replace the part twice problem was still not fixed. Then they stated we cannot get the part. As for them replacing my range they would not although their warranty states if they cannot fix it they will replace. They refused to do replace! I do not recommend Sear Home Warranty Plan. I had to pay the $75.00 deductible up front. It has been seven days and my refrigerator has still not been serviced. The tech is blaming Sears, Sears is blaming the tech. The technician came out analyzed problem, brought part to fix the following week . We bought this Warranty Based off of the Sears name. Don't do it. 2.5 hours later they answer. The service that assists is in Argentina. They want the 75 deductible before they come out. If they don't have anyone in my area to service, and the person in Argentina (Jake) is taking my bank info. Would have given -ve star if I could. Did not disclose has to paid at least 1 yr ($600). When service calls are made, issues will be considered "structural" and not covered. Still have to pay $75 to have a call under the "warranty". The $75 is the average service call cost these days. So the "warranty" actually not doing you any good for "structural" problem, which is almost all issue encountered. Hell of a way to make $!!!!

I had a terrible experience with Sears. a technician signed my daughter up into a contract we never asked for. He promised a free visit if we enrolled into the Home Warranty Plan, when we asked if there was a cancellatio fee or if we were going to be forced into a timed contract, he said no; everything was a big lie from the beginning. Sears sent a tech for AC service here in Edinburg Texas. The guy that came didnt see that the motor on the fan was burned up, he didnt see the compressor and attic unit was covered in ice, and he didnt see the pan and the overflow pan was full of water. He told us everything was fine even though the unit wouldnt run. Left us without ac for 5-7 days. He came out 2 times and still couldnt figure out what the problem was. Im glad to cancel this phoney service. They dont have skilled techs in any trade and are a waste of money and time.
