If I can give a 0 star I will, Our garbage has been leaking for over a week. I called the customer services and got connect to the call center in the Philippines. They have been saying that they will send email to confirm the appoint each time but nothing had happened. We can't use our kitchen sink for over a week and Sears Home warranty doesn't seem to care about it. So if you are looking for a Home Warranty for your house don't go with them. I forgot to mention that the $100 deductible was collected at first phone call when I filed the claim.

Sears Home Warranty is a joke. They do not explain about the things they do not cover until the repair is too expensive. Their customer service is horrible. In addition, they outsource repair companies who are sub standard and do not cover the parts if that company fails to deliver the expected repair. i am disgusted with Sears and they should not be allowed to continue to offer these warranty plans.

Nothing had the services for 6 years and got worst every year Currently have 2 claims in for a light switch since November and still have not be repaired Also had another claim for a over oven range and I had to pay for the repair myself since they only have contractor's that works 8 to 5 week only no after hours or weekends never dealt with this when they had in house techs did have people not coming to the appointments but work done This is my last month with this company I will not deal with this anymore lies not honoring their services agreement also well over price

I had to tell both technicians what actually needed to be replaced. One part on my gas stove and one on my dryer. The tech working on the stove had to YouTube how to repair the issue and I ended up repairing the dryer with the parts that were shipped to me. Only thing these guys are good for is ordering parts. Tried to cancel the warranty that over 2 years has cost over 1200 dollars. Only had 200 dollars in parts, could have saved a ton of money and just done it myself.

We are just a few days from 1 year dealing with Sears customer service, parts and warranty. Giving a 1 star is a stretch, all departments, communication, resolution is an "F". There has been horrible service and no one wants to take accountability. All correspondence with part(s) has been nothing short of misinformation and lack of commitment to the consumer.

Holy mother of God, this organization is horrible and in place yo rip you off. Don't even THINK of using this service. Call for help, get someone to transfer you to another useless person, repeat until you get fed up and hang up. No one will work on your situation, no one will assist, no one will call you back. You are alone with your problem and out of the warranty cost. This is not the Sears of years gone by. This is the anti-Christ Sears.

There is no way in hell that I would ever use Sears home warranty ever again. It is such a joke! It is a total rip off, I kept having to pay my $75 deductible multiple times and the issue that I had never got fixed ultimately. The people they sent out brought the wrong type of dryer and then they asked me to pay another deductible payment in order for someone to come back out. NEVER use their warranty program!

We have been battling Sears Home Warranty for two years to get our KitcheAid range repaired. Appointments are canceled, parts don’t arrive or are faulty, unqualified repair personnel are sent. I’ve been qualified for a new range since the beginning of December 2020, with the check “in the mail”. As of today (2/6/2022), I’ve received no compensation from Sears. I’ve filed a complaint with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. I believe I will have to obtain the services of an attorney to get compensation from Sears. DO NOT PURCHASE THEIR WARRANTIES.

Working with Sears and our extended warranty has been a nightmare. We are now being asked to pay a bill, even when the service order says that we are not to be charged because of our warranty. We have spent hours upon hours trying to resolve the issue and have been ignored at every turn. I have even disputed the bill per instructions and yet the bill keeps being sent with no acknowledgment of the dispute. Also note- the oven was never repaired.

This actually should be a -12 star review. I have a Kenmore refrigerator, which I have been trying to fix for one year. With no luck. The compressor failed and the replacement never worked. Every time they send some one out the appointment gets rescheduled when they show up they wont touch it. The compressor has a 10 year warranty. This is CLEARLY FRAUD and the attorney general and consumer protection needs to be involved

what a disgrace! my 80 year old parents have had customer service workers lie constantly to my parents who are having to go to a laundry mat because they refuse to replace a washing machine sears sold them and stopped working after only 3 years. The Customer service team is uninformed and again lies as to when checks are being mailed ......its been three months since the " check was in the mail" A family lawyer will be addressing in a formal way soon.

should be a zero star. the freezer section failed twice in two years. $$$$ of food waster. Sears determined there was no problems that was covered by their food replacement warranty. 1st time electric went out for 10 minutes, refrigerator failed to restart. unfortunately, we were out of town for 2 days. 2nd time, ice cube maker failed to shut off filling the freezer section with water then freezing it. even when the tech replaced the ice cube maker, sears failed to compensate for the wasted food. this warranty is a joke. I definitely woud not buy from sears appliance ever again.

DONT BUY SEARS WARRANTY. I have requested repair for hot water heater, ceiling fan, garbage disposal and in the 2 years I was stupid enough to buy this warranty they never fixed anything. They always send me to a service department that doesn’t make calls in my area and then when I tried to reschedule, they’re unable to accommodate. I finally canceled the warranty and even that was a hassle. Terrible experience!

Do not purchase the warranty from them. They will tell you, you can cancel at any time but you can't without paying a penalty fee. The technician that came to fix my appliance stated that we can cancel at any time and failed to tell me that in order to to do that there's a fee involved. It is a contract for a whole year. I will never use them again. Horrible way to do business!!

TERRIBLE..I wouldn't even give them 1 star but you have to put something...they don't have service techs to do the work..called about repair on my water softener and they gave me an appointment for a month out..they said they didn't have any other dates...day if appointment the dispatcher called at 11:00 and said the service tech had called in sick...then they wanted me to reschedule for another month out...that is totally unbelievable!! They take your money for your service contract and can't get people to come out and service...this is FRAUD!!

We have several appliances through sears Protection plan. Our dishwasher has been broken for three weeks and we keep getting promises that I will get a phone call and someone will help us. Boston Joe’s from Manchester Ct , called at the last minute to cancel after staying home from work , to say technician called out sick . The lady was rude and nasty ! Then she told Sears warranty that they came to our house and fixed our dishwasher and they never showed up ! She needs to be fired !!!! I wouldn’t recommend this warranty program

Terrible! They came to look at my refrigerator and 2 days later it stopped working . Then a repair was scheduled and the guy called to say he was going to be late, he never showed. Finally, it was determined we needed a part. It took a month for them to say we could get a replacement refrigerator because the part was unavailable. It took over three months to get it. Then, they refused our food claim! Some unknown process wasn't followed, we were never told of the rules....I think they made it up. Many calls and no answers, they hung up on me a few times. They are the worst!!!!!

Really lousy service. I highly caution anyone even thinking of doing business with them. Very long repair times. They owed us a $1,000 payment for a refrigerator they could not repair...I complained to the Missouri Attorney General and they had a special section devoted to 65+ year old people who are also a veteran...the AG pounced on these people and the $1,000 check was sent via Fedex within 7 days. I have cancelled my plan with them and Sears is continuing to charge my credit card monthly...Chase has refunded my money at least three times and Sears just keeps on charging!

They guaranteed if the could not repair our refrigerator, they would replace it! For 3 months they kept trying to replace our refrigerator with one that did not fit! Finally they offered a buy out with money that would not cover the price of a replacement!!! We are canceling our warranty as soon as we get the payment! Do not get this warranty service, they are horrible!

Could not give a 0 star, but that would be what they deserve. I have Sears Home Warranty for well over 6 years and when I put a claim for the first time (a microwave repair), I realized for what I have been paying for so many years. A complete waste of money. I put a claim two months ago and I am still making frequent calls with no success. I am done with them and I would not recommend it for anyone.

I’m being told that there are no in network service providers in my area so I have to go outside the warranty to make my own appointment and file all of the paperwork and be reimbursed after the fact. I’m making my own appointment with Sears Home Services. They repeatedly try to transfer me back to the warranty department to make the appointment. I have to stop them and explain that the Sears Home Warranty company told me that Sears Home Services is NOT in network and will not make the appointment for me. Sears should be embarrassed to have their name attached to this product.

I have never been more disappointed in a warranty service than this one. I have been a customer for 2 years. During this time I have paid $70 PER MONTH FOR NOTHING. I have had two appliances fail. Each time it was an emergency. Once the furnace this time the hot water heater. I am out $1600. Now it will cost me additional money to do all of this work. Never again.

had a microwave "repaired" over a month ago. The service person said it couldn't be repaired and would need to be replaced. I've gone round and round with customer service over the phone (likely in India?) and have not heard back from anyone via email or phone. For what I'm paying, including the deductible for the repair that didn't happen (mind you, it was usable before the repair...now it is not) I could have just replaced the microwave. Ready to dump this plan and would not recommend it to anyone. Truly awful customer service.

Consumer BEWARE - Sears has changed, my entire family has been a loyal customer but that is over. They are happy to take your money but god help you if you ever try and make a claim. They will find a way to minimize the cost on their end and hit you with hidden costs from third parties. Shame on you Sears, admit it, it's time to call it, stop screwing customers and face it you're done!

I had a Tech come out for a yearly maintenance call on my washing machine which was working fine. He said the boot on the door needed to be replaced and would order one. We went to use the washing machine and it flooded our laundry room. Now they don’t know if they can get the part. So now so I have washing machine that was working fine and that theSears tech broke. When you finally get through to a representative on the Hd phone they are no help. So I paid for a warranty contract to have my washing machine being broke by their tech. Totally unsatisfied.

My elderly parents Kenmore fridge broke down and it’s almost been one and a half months. Food has spoiled, they have been given a run around and they have been having to buy ice to keep it cool. They have not even been offered a loner fridge. It’s truly unethical and I’m deeply disappointed. I need to take this to a higher level as they cannot do this to people who pay monthly for a warranty!

If only I could give ZERO stars, I would. For the last 30 years I have used a Home Warranty program. New home, new Home Warranty company. In Feb. 2021, 6 Months ago, I paid the $100.00 for a Wall Oven Repair on a 3 year old Oven. To date that has not been fixed. Sears and appliance company have No Follow through with each other. Good Luck if you want something repaired OR even a Response as to why its not being repaired.Cancelled this Warranty Service as quick as I could.

First, their phone system stinks! I waited the over 73 mins they said was the wait time and still no one answered! It is all but impossible to speak to a live person and when you do they can never help. I had 3 appointments and they still did not fix my leaking freezer -it's been 3 months since I first called to schedule (therefore now my wood floors are buckling). On the 4th scheduled appointment they don't show up! I'm canceling my service!

Worst service ever!! My experience has been terrible. My air conditioner is covered by the warranty and a replacement was "approved," but they just give me the run around and weeks later I am no closer to having it replaced. Each number I call refers me to another number, and no work gets done. It is fraud to take my money with no intention of providing. Beyond frustrating.

The service is extremely poor. I requested the service for my gas cooker and it took two weeks for the guy to show up. once he came, it turned out, that he didn't have the right equipment to check the cooker and next appointment was set up in another three weeks. The guy never shoed up and just put in the report, that it is not covered by warranty! This is ridiculous. I would not recommend this warranty to anyone. Cleveland, OH

I used Sears/Cinch Home Warranty to replace a water heater. I was billed over $500 for modifications that I was not informed of or approved. I have spent hours on the phone with customer service, they either disappear, or are very rude. Now I have to hire another plumber to come in because the job does not meet the city code and Sears/Cinch does not cover those charges.

Terrible! Don't waste your time or money with Sears Home Warranty. I've spent hours, on dozens of different phone numbers trying to resolve a service call that I cancelled because of expense and long wait time for parts. All of my appliances are from Sears, but their labor prices are very high and their repair schedule was way-too long. Who waits 16+ days without a refrigerator? The only good thing that I found during this learning event is that their prices on parts were comparable with other companies.

We have had very bad experience with Sears Home Warranty. We have a Kenmoe Elite refrigerator which required repair within 3 years of purchase. They have rebuilt the refrigerator twice within a one year period and it still continues to fail. Their phone representatives do not appear to be well informed. The company keeps terrible records of their service. They are not customer oriented. In my opinion, it has been a waste of our money to purchase their home warranty plan.

We were forced to get a warranty plan because our new refrigerator was a floor model. The ice maker quit making ice within the first month. When I called to schedule a repair, the earliest they could come out was six weeks later. Fortunately, my husband is a licensed electrician and was able to fix the ice maker. Ridiculous to pay all this money for repair coverage and have to wait forever or fix it yourself. The customer rep suggested that I buy ice cube trays. No thanks! I paid a lot of money for this refrigerator and for the worthless warranty.

Sears's service is absolutely terrible! I was cancelled twice by the company selected to perform preventive maintenance for my air conditioner and lied about "leaving messages that were not returned." In addition, the service attendants on the phone spoke broken English, had difficulty understanding my questions, and most seemed new to the job, unable to help me. I am canceling my service agreement as soon as the air conditioner is checked.

If I could give this zero stars I would. My water softener was overflowing and the tech came out to look at it and said that it was pre-existing from before I got the warranty. The service for replacement on an HVAC is awful!!! After 6 calls and 2 1/2 hours on the phone, the best that I could understand was that it will be 5-12 days before a decision of coverage can be made. The Sears tech said that the unit was unsafe and needed replaced immediately!!! You will speak with non US based phone center so there is a language barrier. The warranty itself is ok, but trying to get services on the warranty is torturous

Bought an extended warranty on my Kenmore washer. Granted it is an older front loader but a very good model as one technician stated. I would renew at each 3 year interval. Warranty states they will repair or replace. When my washer stopped working on 1/26/21, I was assured that they would repair it. Now is day 91 without repair nor replace. I have called them repeatedly without resolution. It appears there is no end to this. Case 7088724.

I can’t even give them a single star, they should not be in business and I feel sorry for the people who fall for their advertising. After six months, lost days of work waiting for techs that don’t show up, and continuing to pay their monthly fee just to get a job completed, I still don’t have a working oven. And despite their advertising, they refused to replace the unit they are unable to fix.

Absolutely the WORST scheduling system ever experienced to date on the Web and their phone interface is even below that. Have spoken to 4 different people who have routed me to multiple groups and then back to the Web site. Have burned almost 3 hours during the past 2 days and still unable to set a service date. Total SCAM. Had terrible experience trying to have them to fix my refrigerator. 5 weeks and several hours on the phone - still no working refrigerator in my house. Was trying to cancel the warranty. Apparently I owe them more money. Few hundred dollars down, with no service ever provided (except customer service on the phone, what promise you to escalate, check the status, etc). DO NOT let yourself into this situation. Waste of money and time. Not worth even a penny

This is a great place to vent frustrations against Sears Home Warranty, especially when they make you feel like you are crazy and have no control over them. However, if you FILE A COMPLAINT, you should see some ACTION on your claim. Legally, they MUST respond within 15 days of receiving notification of your complaint. After months of getting the runaround, I filed a complaint and within 2 days I had a case manager contact me to resolve the problem. The case manager was helpful and efficient, nothing like the overseas customer service (ha!) reps that I'd gotten before.

Sears filed bankruptcy some years back and these guys have legally adopted the name and reputation fooling everyday customers like you and i. I'm not even sure now this is not qualified as a scam. We have had them out twice now, both times they said the warranty doesn't cover the issue. They sent out a plumber who tried to charge us 1300 dollars on top of the 100 we paid just for him to spend 5 minutes looking at it, to replace a pipe. We got a second opinion and the pipe did not need to be replaced, it needed to be snaked from the inside. It only cost 200 dollars. These people are running a con job and you should save your money.

TERRIBLE. I wish there was a lower rating I could give them. Service people are incompetent. What they jokingly call customer service is completely worthless. They make it sound great during the sales pitch. That is the last positive interaction you will have with this outfit. They stretched me out past additional billing dates just trying to cancel the membership.
