I regret to buy home warranty through sears. They are not good at all. I bought their full house plan for $69.99 monthly, and when i call for service repair guy was worried about $100 deductible after i paid him, he told me what is wrong with my garage door which of course sears denied to cover under warranty. i called right away and cancelled my service and to my surprise i had to pay $25 service fee for cancellation. please stay away from sears home warranty.

Sears repair persons does not keep scheduled appt time slots. Nor do they reach out to clients and provide updates on when repair persons will come to your home. Customer service dispatch area rude and did not help 1 bit. Kept me on how for a total of 15 mins. Just to tell me what I already knew. My repairman is running late. They never gave me an updated time to expect repairman. Still waiting its 6pm , my appy was between 12-4pm. What gives???

The one star is for the technicians sent (eventually) for our three claims, who were good. Otherwise it would be zero. I have filed a complaint with the Florida Attorney General's Office about the promised payment for a replacement refrigerator. First, it was 5 to 7 days, them 4 to 10 days. When the check had not arrived after 14 days, it would be 48 hours after that, then 14 business (not calendar) days after that

I waited 3 months for a repair on my washer. First a refurbished part was put on then it failed then they sent another refurbished part which I said no. I went on Twitter and thought the customer relations was helping. They didn’t so I cancelled and am demanding a refund. Totally not the Sears it was many years ago. Don’t be fooled after they sell the policy then you are put with Cross Country that handles most calls from the Philapines . All they can do is read off of a list and lie.. I am beyond livid and will not stop until I get satisfaction!!

The warranty claims dept lies every time you speak with someone. I had a claim on 11/7/18 to repair double ovens. They were working until they died 12/24/18. Unable to cook Xmas Eve and day dinners. I had to start a new claim. I was told I would get new ovens or check. I opted for check. They have yet to mail it. DO NOT USE THIS WARRANTY COMPANY. SEARS NEEDS TO GO OUT OF BUSINESS.

DO NOT waste your money! Still waiting to replace a frig that could not be repaired. Lost Tech notes and since I did not renew contract they could not help in ANY way. Record your interactions with them since they will not make good on what they are selling. Will need to report to Better Business Bureau, ughh! I paid over $660 for nothing. Supervisor could not even assist.

We have a washer that needs repairing. Sears has failed to show up four appointments in a row. They call after the window is over for the appointment with one lame excuse after another (it’s snowing and the technician can’t come is my favorite on a 60 degree day in the south). My wife and I have spent many hours waiting for a technician to come but none have shown up. Still waiting. Two months in.

I took out a Sears Home Warranty on June 2018 on my Refrigerator. The tect came out and fixed it, Jan 2019 the same thing the sensor went out again. I called Sears and was told I still have to pay $75.00 when the tect comes out. I was told the warranty on the part was only 60 days. I pay $50.00 a month for their warranty and now they want $75.00 to fix the same thing they replaced in June 2018? When pigs fly!!!! When my contract expires, it will be good riddance!!

I just purchased a home, and the heat went out, so it's 50 degrees in here. I attempted to make a claim, and they said my coverage didn't start yet, and that they'll consider it a preexisting condition that they won't cover. The previous owner had coverage, that would've filled the "gap" but sears won't cover that either. Their customer service is a jumble of redirection and extensive hold times, and then I've been hung up on twice. Like any insurance company, they'll find what ever way they can NOT to pay. I see now why sears is going out of business, and I say good riddance.

I had an AC problem at my home, and contacted Sears Home Warranty which I had been paying for over 2 years, without any claims. From the get go the experience was horrible. After 7 months, the issue is still not resolved, and outside of a nominal amount, they have refused to pay anything. If I went through them, I would save less than 10% of the overall cost of replacing my AC! I will definitely cancel my service! my advice, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY NOR YOUR TIME by buying warranty from Sears!

I have been waiting over 2 months for a repair of an GE Cooktop burner. in 1 week I was told by sears that the part I need is no longer manufactured. I have been waiting 2 months for Sears to come and replace my cooktop. They have been delaying service and giving me the run around each time I call. Sears Service is horrendous. I would not recommend anyone to purchase any services from them.

They will never pay a claim EVER. They will tell you the service provide has to preapprove then put them on hold for hours when they call while you pay the repairmans hourly rate. If you try to cancel they will keep telling you you have to call back. YOU WILL NEVER GET A DIME AND WILL HAVE TO FIGHT TO CANCEL THE MONTHLY PAYMENTS DO NOT USE THEM

This warranty is terrible. I have been without a dishwasher for 3 months. We are on our 4th repair technician. I've called them 6 times and been hung up on 3 times. Customer service has stated that their own repair guys are "worthless". At $1000 a year and $100 per service call you are better off burning your money and slapping yourself in the face, then going and buying a replacement appliance. This company is incompetent at best and predatory at worst.

Worst warranty ever!!!! Get the run around on the phone, wait weeks for repair appointment then tech doesn't bring parts needed. Still waiting for part he supposedly ordered for over a month. Sitting here on my phone for over 40 minutes waiting to cancel this bogus warranty. Total waste of time and money not to mention the inconvenience it causes.

DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT. First, even though it used to mean something, this is not Sears, they’re just using the sears name for a fee. If ( and it’s a big if) they call you back you can expect a 2-3 week response for repairs. If you attempt to call them, expect being on hold for over 30 minutes, and then WHATEVER YOU DO, don’t express any frustration regarding their poor service, they will hang up on you. This is a sham. Also, when you cancel the contract, expect them to not acknowledge your request and keep charging your account. Stay away, far, far away.

If I could give 0, I would. Kenmore washer did not operate correctly when delivered 2/21/17. To date, 1/5/19, motor replaced two times with third pending service visit on 1/4/19. Transmission replace two times third pending. Control board and agitator replaced two times. Piece of junk has been broken completely since 10/2017. More than 13 home visits and $3,000 in repair attempts. Website indicates Home Services Company will not close due to bankruptcy. RUN AWAY FROM THIS SCAM COMPANY AND DO NOT LOOK BACK.

First of all, I had to wait 1 month for an appointment on my refrigerator. Then, they canceled on me the morning of my appointment after I had to take time off of work to keep this appointment. Then you have to go round and round with the automated system to reschedule. The options to reschedule were 3 weeks out!!! What kind of customer service is this???? They canceled on me so they should bend over backwards to accommodate me. It's not my problem that the service person called in sick and they have no back up. Every good company should have back up personnel.

The worst home warranty I have ever had. I had a Air-conditioning problem last year in summer, they couldn't fix it until winter. Close to the winter, I had a furnace problem, they came and told me there is one part missing because of which it is not covered. I had a washer drainage pipe leaking, they came and said it's inside the wall and is not accessible and thus is not covered. Now I am calling to cancel the service, I have waited for 29 minutes before some one take the call and after checking my identity he let me waiting, while I am waiting I am writing this review.....

1. It is impossible to reach anyone that speaks English as a primary language at SearsHW. 2. Repeated “transfer of calls” within your initial call, while placing you on hold until you hang up. 3. Telling me to, “call back at different number”, 4. Left on hold 45 minutes. Deliberately. 5. All of the above? Probably in the company manual! •Worst management EVER. •Worst customer service ever. I’m sure the CEO of the company still takes home a nice bonus at the end of every year, regardless!

I can’t give zero stars? This program is horrible if you expect a clear and easy path to repairs for your home.suggest another warranty or none at all. They use “3rd” party repair people so to get customer support/service you are always redirected to the service provider. If by the off chance you finally get to speak with someone at sears they offer no help with a repair or question. They threaten you with high fees if you try to cancel mid term due to lack of support.

They sucks, you call after a claim since no one knows what's going on , barely understand them, after claim is made they dont't want to replaced your appliance , they trying to get out of the deal by asking so many questions or asking you for a receipt of purchase , they transfer you so many time and the end they hang up the phone . Very poor quality of customer representative, I feel this is a misrepresentation of the company just to get your money and not do anything afterward.

Dishwasher broke so they came out and had to order parts. Two months later, after multiple missed service calls, they came to fix the dishwasher but decided they don't have the correct parts. New parts are ordered and the next time they can come out to complete the repair is another month away. I will have spent enough on paper plates and cups to buy a new dishwasher.

My dishwasher has had issues. Sears came out November 19 to fix a leak. I had to wait two weeks for the appointment. The dishwasher is leaking again. I just called and I have to wait 2 1/2 weeks for the next appointment which will be December 27. I will be five weeks without a dishwasher in total, that’s if they fix it this time. I asked if there is a wait list for cancellations so I could get in sooner and it seemed like he didn’t understand what I was asking. I am very frustrated I am paying good money for this warranty

Just stop reading the reviews and stay away. The time and effort you have to put in just to get someone to come look at your appliance is amazing. We are 3 months into trying to get our broken washing machine replaced or repaired. 20+ calls, 5+ visits and still no replacement or fix. Sears blames it on the 3rd party repairman who blames it on who Sears has farmed out the warranty to who blames it on Sears and around we go. Countless hours and $ wasted.

Preventive Maintenance Heating system check (I had to get a contractor as they had none in area) found a crack in the heat exchanger. Sears Home Warranty (Cross Country Home Services) advised they will not cover as it is a pre-existing condition. Contractor says unable to determine when. Hard to contact, communication is terrible and confusing. When purchased, sales person advised if operational it would be covered if repair or replacement would be covered.

Worst experience ever! AC problem they came paid $100.00. 2 days later it broke again. Called them back the charge us another $100.00 and said it is different issue waiting on part for week I have called everyday and it takes on average 45 minutes to be shuffled from departments only to get disconnected. I even had them send a sales rep come out for a new unit they came still waiting on quote.

We recently purchased a new range from Sears. We also purchased the Sears Home Warranty. Don't buy it! It takes at least a week to get a repair person. The tech orders the part. The wrong part was sent. We phoned. No response. The tech came back. "Wrong part." Ordered it again. Again, wrong part! Called the help line 3 times. Still no part. Now it's Thanksgiving, and our appliance is still broken. HORRIBLE SERVICE. Don't waste your money.

The rating I would give is -10!!!! I ordered the warranty fir my hot water tank 10/1. Someone had to co e out 11/5 - leaking tank. A new tank was delivered today 11/10 and it’s danaged. I was told there is no one to install in my area and now the damaged tank given us the last one and they are no longer being made. I’m now being told that I will have to pay the difference of another tank which should not be my problem...... I’m beyond pissed and will call my attorney....

I have had Sears Home Warranty coverage for years and has gotten progressively worse. This last experience shall be the last. Over 30 day to get my refrigerator fixed and horrible service. No, seriously NO customer service department to help, they don't answer to the Sears corporate office and they are based out of India (it sound like the office is a desk on the sine of a road). DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE OF CHOOSING THIS COMPANY. Do your research first and choose an American Company. I only gave 1 star because I could not choose 0 stars.

I was pretty much conned into this warranty. My refrigerator stopped working, called to get service and was told I had to call the service provider because they don’t do that. Then before I was given any information I was hung up on (Pakistan call center). I called back this morning to be told they have no service providers in my area (Philadelphia). I mean seriously why am I paying for a warranty they cannot honor? I guess this is part of the Sears name no longer meaning anything.

Do NOT take out any Home Warranty policies. They don't fix, have poor technicians that don't care nor come out when say, nor call back. I have been without a newer Riding Craftsman Lawn Tractor since July and still not running and now they say they don't service the area and will have to find someone to come out....were out already 6 times and still not running! Guess why Sears going bankrupt. Do not buy any Sears products or you might as well get someone else to fix and pay again!!!

Horrible!! They have come out 6 times in 1 year for the same dishwasher issue. I was told they would replace the dishwasher since I was having the same issue. Called 3 times was told a supervisor would call me back, that never happened. Then I was transferred kept on hold for 45 min and the call was disconnected. I have told lots of friends, CoWorkers and family about my experience and warned them not to ever get this service it is a scam.

Sears warranty is a joke. After 12 service calls and well over 2 months they haven't fixed my fridge. They give you the run around and it is just a shame that a company I grew up with has become a bastion of incompetence. I had paid extra to have the best warranty plan they offered and they disappointed me beyond belief. After the the 12th service call I had a lawyer write them a letter and now they won't even talk to me. Now I have to peruse legal action against them. Ridiculous.

RUN FROM THIS COMPANY!!! started the Sears Home Warranty Plan on 8/19/18 set up appointment for my Range to be repaired. First there was a screw up with the delivery of parts; Next my repair appointment was rescheduled 4 times. They can't find anyone to make the repair. I will not be getting my deductible ($80.00)refunded. I will be filing a complaint with the Attorney General in my state. I woule give them a zero rating if i could. SEARS WARRANTY is A Scam!!! We should get a class action lawsuit started...

Said we must wait another week for someone to come back out. Stuck in a catch22 situation. Sears will replace washer if there are 4 repair attempts, but because the part is on back order there was only one attempt. The part is on back order and there is no due date for this part so I’m stuck without use of the washer until the part is delivered. It has been over a month and apparently there is no time limit on back ordered parts.

Terrible, Awful, Bad Experience. Took contract in October and had 4 different technicians here & each one told me a different story. Paid $75.00 to one company & they never returned with the part but cashed the check. Finally someone came yesterday, put in the part and now claim I owe them $142.00 for the part & labor. Wait time to reach someone at Sears with the phone number they advertise has been from 20-45 minutes. Awful music, too.

My refrigerator has not worked for one and 1/2 months with a Sears home warranty. No one knows what they are doing -- you are told to call one of their repair companies and the repair companies never get the parts. They don't replace your appliance as they say and there is no time limit on how long you can be without your appliance. They will keep replacing parts about every other month and hope it is fixed. Never use them.

At an hour of hold time a female customer service rep got on the phone we spoke briefly and I was told that she was checking on it, Really!!!!!!!!!! this is no way for any company to do business. After about an hour and thirty four minutes I was told that in order not to keep me waiting they would call back.

I have a Sears Home Warranty.I am six weeks without a washing machine and I still don't know when I will get one. I have in excess of 11 hours on my cell phone talking to Sears. It seems that their employees have to work within the constraints of their stupid system which make correcting human error nearly impossible. Maybe someday they will deliver my machine.
