Choice Warranty sent a technician out to fix our refrigerator even during Covid times. The technician was very thorough and informative. We have to purchase a new refrigerator but CW reimbursed us the value of our current refrigerator.

The quality of technicians you send out to do repairs needs your immediate attention. The work order was placed 12/22/20. The tech was scheduled to come out 12/28/20. I lost a lot of food due to my freezer not working. He was to arrive between 7am to 11 am, didn't show up until 6:30 pm. He pulled the refrigerator and diagnosed it having no freon. Communication between tech and CHW was terrible. After my numerous calls to the tech and CHW, another technician was dispatched - arriving 1/6/21. This tech was incredible - found the problem and made the repairs. Thank you Total Solution A/C & Refrigeration Service.

The company itself seems to be pretty good after doing some research online. The only issue I have is the sales people are a bit pushy. The person I spoke with wanted me to buy a 5 year or 3 year plan. I told him that I have had a bad experience with a home warranty company and would like to try it out for just a year. He went from being pleasant and nice to being short. He basically ended our conversation by saying. "Fine, just know the rate may go up next year. Your contract will now be processed." The other issue is I was told you don't take American Express, but if I get the 5 year plan you would accept it. I hate to say it, but I hope the service is better than the sales.

The repair man came right out,not a long wait,he did a good job,no leaks and was nice.The only thing i'm not happy with was that he replaced a $150 insinkerator top of the line garbage disposer with a $47 wasteking garbage disposer.I hope it works and lasts because it looked like a toy compared to my old one.I thought he should of replaced the old one with a new one as of the same value of the old one,I don't want to be DOWNGRADED when ever I have to use your service!!!Also I did NOT get a receipt,I would like one!!!!!!!!

Customer service reps are pleasant but it took over 24 hours to get a technician out to me when my heat went out and I asked if it could be a higher priority but I was told all claims are treated the same. It was cold in my home with no heat and that wasn't enough for them to move my ticket to a higher priority. I wasn't pleased with that part. However, the tech that was sent to my home to repair my furnace was nice, professional and completed the job in a short time.

I was able to start my claim online and it literally took two minutes. It was a Sunday and I had my appointment scheduled Wednesday for this coming week. I had to push it out one day because it wasn’t convenient with my schedule but I was impressed with how quickly I had a technician scheduled to come out and fix my problem.

Quick response. The friendly and knowledgeable technician arrived a few minutes before the scheduled visit. He quickly determined the problem and explained the solution. Shortly afterward the parts had been ordered and a new visit scheduled to install failed equipment and upgrades necessary to meet new building code requirements.

The technician was very knowledgeable and courteous. The person assigned to negotiate my disappointment with the offer was also very nice. However the offer and nonnegotiable were not satisfactory. I do not want or expect an upgrade from what I had but my research was not even close. I did not expect to get less than half of what a direct replacement would be. We are seriously considering stopping the service and some friends I had given your information to when I described what I expected wantedasked for. I have called them and told them about my settlement experience. I don't expect them to sign. The TV commercial does not describe my experience.

I find CHW is quite prompt in responding to claims. I also like the option they often give me to find repair service folks on my own. I do not like the fact that items that are excluded (not covered) are the ones that breakdown most often. Overall they provide excellent service.

I made a request because my heater and hot water for my home was not working. The company arrived the next morning on time! He was very thorough and my heat work in a rapid time. However, I don't have any hot water at all. Now I have to call back for another service and I will be charged another $75.00 again. I made the request for both when i called in the first time. I know I will be told it's two separate workorders therefore if I want to have it serviced then I must pay the additional charge.

I purchased this warranty for piece of mind so I could just make a call and be assured that my problem would be promptly addressed. I understand Covid 19 has affected everyone. Your attempt to address my problem quickly unfortunately resulted in a series of miscues and complications. I received multiple emails from you telling me first you were having trouble scheduling a timely appointment due to Covid. Then I received an email telling me I could use my own plumber and use the reimbursement process due to scheduling issues. I called my own plumber who did not fix my problem and left the premises abruptly without following your expected problem analysis documentation guidelines. This was not your fault or mine. I then received a call from your originally scheduled plumber telling me he was able to come. All this confusion led to my call to you to cancel the original appointment and then reschedule it again. Maybe if you had allowed the originally contacted plumber from Reliable plumbing more time to acknowledge your appointment request the reimbursement email leading to mass confusion could have been avoided. I kind of felt like I was on my own for awhile and wondered why I even had the warranty in the first place. When the plumber from Reliable plumbing arrived he was very competent and paid attention to detail. I was very pleased with his commitment and service. A maximum of $500 per year for a water well problem is not even close to sufficient for covering the expense of a pump replacement which is a common well issue.

I love the promptness and quality of the work done on all of our claims, which have been just a handful, but they were all quality. I do think the buyout offer we recently received was low. We received $380 for a new stove but the cheapest one Lowes has is nearly $600. So that was disappointing, but overall we are very satisfied.

Repair person did a good job. It did take way too long to line someone up (2 weeks). We needed a negotiator to agree on a replacement amount. Agent Sean was very easy to work with. Don't be afraid to ask for what you feel is acceptable for a replacement figure.

we like how quick the response is on getting someone scheduled even on weekends. what we don't like is we've had a part that couldn't be found they looked and even the manufacturing company that made the part even send the part out broken every time the part was sent from either a part house or the company itself it still was broken 6 times and we still have NO oven to this day and no one has settled on the dish washer that the 1st company said it's not worth replacing the part. we have 4 policies which we very much doubt we will continue with Choice after this we have a 5 yr contract with all of them . I'm sure we'll be done after this

I’ve had a very good experience with my recent repairs. Everything was handled in a timely manner. However, I very unhappy with the changes that are to take effect at the end of October. My premium and copayment will be increasing. I have had my policy for several years and have never used it. Now that I’ve used it I was notified that there will be an increase in the cost to have this plan. It makes me feel like I’m being penalized for using it. I’m not feeling good about this at all.

Company is quick to respond; however, they are hesitant to pay out on big ticket items. Our stove caught fire, and they provided $299.99 cash payout. There are no stoves of any quality whatsoever that can be bought with that! As long as replacement is not involved, no issues! We've had good luck with things like washing machine repair, air conditioning repair, and fixing a leaky faucet.

CHW was very responsive to our request, and worked with us to solve a problem. We had a minor leak with our kitchen sink faucet. CHW sent a great plumber from JR Plumbing. The plumber was professional, wore a mask and glove the entire time he was in our home, and did a great repair for us.
