I had an instance on the swimming pool, well, I had a couple items that were deficient when I first called. Because one of the three items I called about was not covered, they just cancelled the entire order. It just got really frustrating. I feel y'all's first response is to cancel jobs and not really listen. At the end of the one-year term, I'd be more inclined to go with someone else than to renew with Choice.

Initially they were the number one warranty company but I was a little disappointed with them. My water heater broke and I had to cover five hundred dollars of it. The guy did an excellent job but I didn’t think it was fair that I had to pay.

There are constant extra emails to buy more. It is all a hassle. You shouldn’t harass your customers. The plumbers they sent were friendly and very professional but the only way to contact someone in customer service to get parts is through email because covid shut everything down.

Up until recently I was pleased with them but two of my last three times I was denied coverage. They didn’t cover the fan for the AC. I would like to say the person they sent us for the LNFHVAC was an excellent technician. He was competent and knowledgeable. Thank god he came because the flame in the furnace wasn’t set properly.

I don’t think they have the best companies working for your benefit. They couldn’t repair a leaky faucet a month ago and I have been trying to work with them for a month to get them to replace it. They are trying to get me another repair man but they are not having much luck with covid going on. They do ahve the best value.

My heat went out, needed a motor, the company they sent said the motor was on back order after i called to find out the status of my repair. So it’s 27 deg and snowing and i still have no heat and nobody is concerned, i call the company again and they said they will try and find the part from another vendor but would i pay the difference. Of corse i will because i have no heat! I’m the only one that cares i have no heat!

Ease of use, However contracted locksmith to rekey our condo after purchase broke 2 deadbolts, replaced one, and left other in dangerous operation and were told do not touch it it could lock you in and not get out. It did and I removed the lock and repaired it myself..

Customer support is pretty responsive and they do find technicians pretty quickly but we’ve had some issues where they could not find a technician and we had to find one ourselves and they didn’t reimburse us. That was a not a good experience. There have been times when they didn’t cover the warranty. Other times they got a technician to come out and fix what was needed.

We went with Choice because they had a better price than other companies. A few weeks ago, we had a sewer back up and got a good response from a plumbing company Choice helped us find. We had a bad experience with the air conditioning and heating contractors, because they weren't great.

Right now I wouldn't give Choice Home Warranty high marks because of the bad experiences I am having. I had two claims and one of them needed to be replaced, so they gave me money to do so. The other claim hasn't worked out because they needed to order a part for my ice maker and I still haven't heard back from them on that after two and a half weeks.

The quality is not what they said. The first time I called it was for the AC. I called on a Friday and they said they could get someone out on Wednesday. I took they day off but they had deleted it and didn’t notify me that the electrician wasn’t coming. It was a real simple fix that done in five minutes.

The quality of the people is pretty good but getting someone to come out and do the work is middle of the road. I had some issues with repairs last year. It took three or four phone calls in ordered to get it straightened out. Everything was made right eventually.
