Sometimes when I call I can't get through.The first time which (three to four years ago) was very very bad. They sent a guy here he wouldn't look at the washing machine he said the probem was the wiring on the house and never looked at the machine and said they wouldn't pay for it. I had a fight with choice to change the guy and it was a whole mess. Now it's much better, the technicians that have come out and assisted have been helping. Sometimes I have to wait a long time, but when I call them they'll come sooner.

They make the appointments like right away. The last time I had to have somebody come out I had an appointment set for me that same day. I've had some pretty positive experiences. I've had to call them out three times and every time they resolve the issue. The first experience wasn't that good but the issue was resolved within like a week, the rest within a couple days.

Everything was great except my claim about my AC. The company you sent attempted to scam me. I had to hire another previous company I had used with another warranty company that was trustworthy and reliable. They showed me how the report of your company was fraudulent and they took care of the very minor problem at my cost. Your customer service did nothing when I reported this.

Took 21 days to get someone to come out to my house to check out ac unit. I don't even know if the guy was a licensed hvac guy. So un professional and did not even know what the problem was after 2x coming to my house. He yelled at my husband and told him to do it himself. He made whatever issue I had way worse bc he was not capable in doing this job that choice home sent to my home. He did whatever he wanted to do. And now I am waiting for another "company" so called licensed person to come and see what is wrong with my ac. I have 2 young kids and we have to suffer in heat for about a month and I complain and they keep saying sorry sorry blah blah there is nothing we can do no just have to sit here keep paying every month and wait for a person to come to see if they know what to do. I used choice for my dryer and frezzer and it was wah better service. Maybe they can not deal with these types of issues but they should at least credit me somehow for my troubles and being patient.

When I called about service to my exhaust fans, I was immediately told it was not covered. I had to explain that I have a contract stating this fact. He continued with I will send you a copy of your contract. He later checked with a supervisor who approved the claim. He stated some nonsense about the stated claim was not in the area of the contract it should have been. After the claim was approved the service techs came out and did a great job.

Had to wait for 10 days for our refrigerator to be repaired. Once the repair came and worked on the refrigerator everything was good. He did an excellent job and pointed out the cause of the problem and how to avoid it from reoccurring. He also looked at another problem with the refrigerator door, ordered the part and a week or so another technician installed the part.

Super fast response to my claim and was able to get an electrician scheduled, not easy, within 2 days to repairs. I've been extremely happy since having CHW coverage that has covered 100% of 5 different claims over 7 yrs. Absolutely 100% worth the small monthly premium and copay.

We've been waiting multiple weeks for them to repair air conditioner. We've had the companies reach out to them. They have failed us miserably. Our renewal comes up here in the middle of this month. I'm very doubtful we're going to stay with them. They are not trustworthy at all. I would not recommend them at all. We are going on four weeks now that we've identified this was a problem, it's still not fixed. It is not customer friendly. It is not simple and it's bureaucratic. It's not focused on serving the customer. They are not honest.

I would not recommend them at all. When I needed to use it which was over a week ago and this is not their fault. But you couldn't get technicians to take the order. Finally someone who I knew personally took the work order. And he come to our house. Otherwise, I guess we'd still be waiting for somebody. And I had sent an email and told them that I thought it was totally unacceptable. All I got was an apology and and that was the end of it. I don't understand Why I'm not getting more money on this claim. It sent me an email saying something about how that's all I qualify for the payout. I get no answers for nothing. I even asked somebody to call me and no one has.

Mostly everything has gone right with them. I like the pricing. About a year and a half ago or two years my washing machine went out and the people that they sent out did not do it and then it sat there for two weeks before that. It took forever to get the washing machine fixed and I had other problems with air conditioners and garbage disposals and everything and I fixed it pretty quick.

I like the rate. My refrigerator and freezer went out and it was out for almost two months before it was repaired and they never explained to me why. They just kept telling me to get someone else to do it and they would reimburse and never explained it. We later found out they didn't have a refrigerator person to do the job but they never told me that.

I had one issue. A lot of phone calls and a lot of arguing to get it settled. Just recently my air conditioning unit just stopped working. And I called and put in a claim and within about a day and a half somebody was there and took care of my issue. It took a while to get the correct money amount back so that kind of turned me off. But it works fine.

I just used it to repair the water going to my refrigerator. And the person they sent out was very knowledgeable and in his craft he found the problem almost immediately and took care of it. I think anybody that signs up really needs to read their contract very carefully because there are things that aren't covered that I thought were covered and so that since I signed up for five years it kind of upset me that I wasn't getting the kind of support that I needed.

Very responsive. Any house fix I needed to do was scheduled very promptly and so they respond pretty fast. I signed up about five years ago because they had a good price and good coverage. I used the warranty once to get my microwaves fixed. There was a little bit of miscommunication with the air conditioning. I assumed that everything on the air conditioning was covered. But for the air conditioning coils, they do not cover it.

It is the most economical warranty. I was trying to find a repairman. And I called in. And for some reason I got the wrong company and I went back and forth with them. And finally the guy I was talking to said. "well, it's not us". And when I hung up, I looked at the number and yes, it was them. I'll always dread calling them but the people they bring out to your homes are good people. And I have no problem with the repair. It's just the way you have to go through to get help.

Transparency is an issue as well as case management. It is impossible to escalate a complaint. There is no access to management or corporate HQ. I asked for a Case manager about a month ago for an ongoing furnace and technician issue and still have not heard from one. My furnace still is not functioning properly from an ongoing claim submitted in the beginning of April. It is now the end of May and will be assigned a fourth technician. This is the 2nd year of a 39 month contract. Last year is a whole other part of this continuing furnace saga too lengthy to address here. I would love to be contacted by the CEO of this company. Service reps state they have no contacts for management or corporate. Company reeks with lack of transparency and accountability.

With my experience with them, there were some gray areas and they were not completely transparent. But I was so pleased with the interaction with the home warranty sales person. I like the pricing and the coverage that they offer. I have used the warranty for a couple of things. First experience was not good in the sense that I had an issue. The claim was rejected immediately, and I never got the chance to talk to the complaint manager. The second time I used the warranty, the response was very prompt. The vendor came and he took three or four hours to do the investigation and then he caught the issue and then he replaced it immediately. He ordered the part and placed it immediately on the same day within 4 hours. It was a hassle free process and the vendor I worked with was very good.

I had a claim for a washer and it needed to be replaced and it was assigned to a claims manager and made an offer for the replacement that I felt it was very low so I asked to talk to somebody and it took about three emails, three voicemails, and then calling up a different customer service rep that I talked to when I first signed up with choice and escalated the situation to force the claims manager to finally contact me so we can discuss the next steps. So that part was not pleasant trying to reach the claims manager that I was assigned to. However once I was in contact with that person they were knowledgeable and explained why the offer was the way it was and answered all my questions at that point. But I was kind of upset for a few weeks there trying to get a hold of them and every day counts when you're out an appliance you can't get a hold of them. When I had a dryer that needed to be repaired that experience was favorable. A repair guy came out and made an assessment, ordered the parts and came back within a few days and replaced it with the new parts.
