After filing a claim for a rapid leak from our bathroom faucet, a company was assigned to come to our home 5 days later. We asked for a repairman to please come sooner. There was no way to turn off the water to stop the leak. 30 minutes after the repairman was due to arrive, we called Choice and asked the status. They told us they would have to start over and find another repairman. I told them I would have repairs done, before the wood on our cabinets and floors were ruined and send Choice the bill. The rep said they would not pay. I asked for a supervisor and spoke to Erica. She explained the process for having approved repairs done by a vendor and being reimbursed. That's what we had to do to get the leak fixed. Lots of reasons to not renew our policy. The supervisor I spoke to was very understanding and knowledgeable. She saved an already difficult situation from being a full scale home disaster.

I used them just recently and it was awesome, all I had to do is pay the eighty five dollars for the washer repair person to come out and I got my washer completely fixed and running the same day. I'm not sure how well it was fixed but it seems to be fine.

They get people out here to do the job and the people that they use are very professional. My AC wasn't working well so they sent out a company that figured out the problem right away and went and got the part and came back an hour later and installed it.

They have responded to all of my claims and I have received compensation for all the ones I filed. But I do not believe they gave priority to certain claims like an air conditioner in August in south Texas should not receive a notification that someone will be here in for five days. And the second thing which is my biggest complaint about this company they do not let you know that when you have an appliance go out like my most recent microwave that went out on me, I put the claim in and they come back and only give you what they determine is the amount that is needed to replace your microwave. I had a top of the line whirlpool built-in microwave and they told me they would give me $175 towards the replacement of that microwave. Go look at any website you like and any comparable microwave was going to run me between $300 and $350. Therefore that was barely half of what it was going to cost me. And when I first initiated the contract with this warranty company I was under the impression that if an appliance breaks or goes down, that they would either repair it or replace it without it costing me any extra money. I don't think they make that very clear in any of their advertisements website or anywhere else. The repair men that came out indicated it had to be replaced and could not be repaired.

I had a water leak but the first crew they sent out, just cut a hole in the closet behind the shower to see if it was leaking. It was not. They didn't look anywhere else. Just told me they didn't know where it was leaking and left. I paid $60 to get a hole cut in my closet but not to fix the water leak. I called to have another person come check for the leak. When the next crew arrived they immediately checked the icemaker connection and found the leak. The first crew they sent should be fired. I feel like i should get a refund of the $60 service charge i paid them. Plus i still have a hole in my closet sheet rock.

The response is very prompt. They follow up with me and me email me sometimes. They called me the morning of, before the technicians came. They do follow up with me after the service is done and ask me how was I was satisfied with the service. Just recently I had some issues with air condition not cooling and within two days a technician came out to repair it. Everything's been positive so far. Its perfect.

I trust in the company, they come and they do what they are supposed to do. My refrigerator was making a lot of noise and the technician solved the problem for me. That's what they've been doing since I've been using choice. The people are considerate and they try to help you and they do a good job. I would recommend them.

We had an issue with one of our claims and I was told that we would be able to have someone get in touch with us to speak to client and we will never contacted and every time I called and they said it's already been sent up the chain and that someone will get in touch with us but never did. I was told with the warranty every item in our house would be covered and we just recently had two air conditioners go out. The woman on the phone asked how many air conditioners we had and I didn't answer her because it doesn't matter and she said only two conditioners are covered under your warranty and I was very sour about that because it was the first I heard of that. The service the people that come seem to be less efficient than the people that would come out when I had the American home shield.

We kind of miss that the fact that we don't get phone calls and emails once everything's done. Sometimes we're surprised when somebody shows up at our house to pick something. One time the toilet was leaking and my, A guy came in and looked at it and said he'd need to send somebody and they charged my wife $10. Then somebody showed up a couple of days later and to look at it and said they needed a $60 copay. Eventually we got ahold of our request and this time they fixed it. Once we got the name of sales person and told him we were having problems, everything's been fine. Now the last person you sent was excellent and they got everything working immediately so that was impressive you're you're doing better.

The montly rates are good. They get on the claims, but it just takes too long getting them out is my only issue. I got an email telling me what time of the day the repairman would be here and he didn't come because he said he called in to get an answer and after I didn't know I had to do that since I got an email telling me he would be here between three and five on a certain day.

I've had no problems whatsoever with them at all. Just recently my dryer was making a lot of noise, so I called them up. They sent the tech out two days later. And he took care of it. It's only forty five dollars and everything was basically handled.

Claim was filed, service tech responded within 2 days. needed to order parts. claim was still open and started getting surveys about claim. Why with a open claim. called 2 weeks later, still working on it. finally got a email July 29 saying they were going to replace appliance. offer price was not good. set up with a case manager Aug 1st for phone call Aug 5th. Case manager was excellent and we resolved the issue. claim was opened June 21st and closed Aug 5th. long time to get something resolved

It was cheaper than American Home Shield. I used it once and they didn't do anything. I couldn't get the guy to fix what needed to be fixed, and when I called from work, the driver came out but he said it wasn't under warranty so I called somebody else and they came out and fixed. So that was a bad experience. I just used it and it was a good experience.

They were responsive, returning my claim quickly. We've used our warranty on two different occasions, one was a garage door opener the second one is a air conditioning issue. The warranty replaced garage door opener and the air conditioning issue turned out to be a maintenance issue. We didn't have to have any parts replaced but HVAC company was very responsive and took care of things.

I think they're a very fair company, they certainly help you. I've had them on my air conditioner and it didn't take long for them to work with that, I've had them on a dryer and I've had them on a washer and I've had them on a garbage disposal. And they've taken care of everything really good. I've already recommended them to a friend.

I have been dealing with the same issue for over a year now. Every time I call about the issue, a new claim is started, a new tech assigned, and a fee of $80 paid to that person. The lady 2 hosed down the parts inside the unit outside, stated that it was dirty and his was the reason for the lack of cooling. The last one in particular was only interested in getting paid and leaving as fast as he could, making sure that he got that check first. Part of the contract states that we must keep the unit maintained by our contracted vendor, but later verbalized that all ax/ heating issues should be called into Choice

They've always got everything fixed when I called. They always have the service done pretty quick. Once the air conditioner broke and they came out the next day to replace the air conditioning motor. I think there was a little price increase on the monthly and the the service fee. I'm pretty happy with the service.

It's a good value. It's a little confusing between the online portal and calling to talk to somebody, it's not always clear. I had a toilet valve replaced this summer and the gentleman came in and was very careful and replaced the valve. Unfortunately he had to cut into the wall and I am still waiting for them to come back and finish that job.

I requested from two different service repair people an itemized list of what they were asking me to pay for and the first person refused and a second person told me that they were unable to get an itemized list from choice home warranty and so they were unable to provide it. The reason I wanted an itemized invoice was to make sure I wasn't being charged for something covered under the warranty and I also wanted it for my records. I know there are things that the warranty won't cover without having a list of what I was being charged. There was no way for me to be sure that I was not being unfairly charged when the warranty should cover things. Online I usually got a response and many times it felt like I was being read a script and response to my concerns and the person when I finally got a hold of someone it seems like the weren't I listening to what I was saying and they were just giving me a standard response.

My dryer was making noises and they had the company give me a call and they looked at the dryer and ordered the parts that needed to be repaired and then came back. I've had problems with choice home warranty. My latest problem was not the last one but the time before that I had a problem with my tank drainage. I had an experience with the technician that came out that wasn't professional. He ended up giving me false information and told me that what I needed done wasn't covered under my warranty. I found out that he overcharged me and he lied about everything and he refused to come back. Choice didn't take responsibility and they didn't show any sympathy. I feel like they're not on your side and I feel like they don't listen to what you say. This guy was not a professional and he really ripped me off.

Most recently I used it for my one AC unit and they didn't find anything wrong with the technician, but I asked for a recall, they approved the recall but the company never did it and they never reached out to me. Some contractors are less favorable.

My air conditioning and my heating unit both weren't working and when they came they said that it needed a filter and they charged me $45 dollars and also $85 for the filter that they purchased and I don't think that was right. This was my second year with choice. Regardless of what the question was, someone was always able to communicate and they explained things well. Cell communication has been very positive. I definitely appreciate that I could always get in contact with someone.I just recently had my refrigerator repaired and I was able to put in a claim online and within an hour or two there was a technician here and everything was fine.

Had a dryer issue. As it turns out the dryer was fine but the tchnician was able to tell me what was wrong with the power feeding the dryer. Even though he could not fix it personally, I was able to replace a faulty breaker at the panel and allbis well.
