Declined to repair AC unit. Said it was physically damaged which was not true. Canceled my service with them! If they can't replace or repair something as basic as this I don't need them. Could never talk to a person regarding this or any other issue that I had before this. I have only had policy since March!

I would never recommend this company. If an appliance breaks down, they won't repair or replace it. They will extremely low ball a buyout for the appliance. If you call, you will be assigned a claim manager who will be extremely rude with you. It will take 30+ days for the buyout to be processed.

I have had the policy since 2021. I have made 2 claims and both have been denied for some stupid reason. I asked for a supervisor and the claims manager said there was no one above her and hung up on me because my 15 minutes were up. I know she has a boss. She is not the president of Choice warranty.

This company is a joke. The customer service lack of customer service knowledge is baffling. The turn around to get a response on the message portal is sad just like the reply that is never helpful. DO NOT pay ahead for a year to save, its a trap.

If I good give zero stars then I would. I'm not seen as a person just a number in your system. Claims resolution is way longer than necessary. Terrible communication. Having to live with no refrigerator for 3 weeks now is beyond insensitive.

One of my service request was done by company, then I found out later it was not done correctly and instead of sending a technician out free of charge due to the contractor error, choice advised I would have to put in another service request and pay another service fee since it was beyond 30 days !!

Once they schedule a contractor Choice Warranty does nothing to help us out. Customer service becomes very sarcastic and just wants to get me off the phone. I needed a new hot water tank, which Choice warranty paid for, but I paid the labor charge for 2 people and only one came.

You advertise replacement value and it is misleading. My washing machine new was $900+ and it was given $560 to replace it. Also you have spotty representation where I live to repair pool equipment and appliances. Past suppliers that you sent to me have complained you are a slow payer to them and will not work with you going forward.

Absolutely terrible company! If you like 10,000 emails a day about how they want you to renew your contract. Also, they can care less about your issues when they happen. I went over 30 days with an AC problem and over 1 week with no hot water because they couldn't find anyone to come out to fix the problem. Read the contract, because the "things they don't cover" will definitely surprise you. I would never recommend this company to anyone and I will turn and run as soon as my contract is done with them.

CHW does not live up to promise that a repairman will be in the home within 48 hours, There is no customer advocacy for covered problems. I called when my refrigerator cooling was not working. CHW scheduled an appointment for 5 days later -- which meant all the food spoiled. WORSE the repairman did not show. CHW took no initiative to get another one out immediately -- instead -- scheduled the second appmt for another 5 days out. 10 days to service a refrigerator that is not cooling! Ridiculous!

DO NOT GET THIS WARRANTY!! They keep denying all my claims. My refrigerator was at least over 20 years old and my ice maker went out. They denied the claim because “ it was not considered normal wear and tear “. I’m reporting them to the BBB and the FTC and also on social media. This is how they make their money, by cheating honest folks out of theirs! 🤬

We filed a claim two months ago . Still crickets. I’ve called and they always want to return the call and they do but I’m always away from my phone. Returning calls is bad. The status says active but nothing is being done. Our HVAC cools/heats part of the house but not other rooms. I’ve sent documents over where it has been inspected and still no follow up. Hopefully when they follow up with my claim I can give a different rating.

Choice Home Warranty has rarely held up to their end of the bargain. I've had 2 recent claims cost me over $5000 out of pocket for failures caused by normal wear and tear that Choice claims were not. Even the technicians they've sent out have said it was normal wear and tear and nothing I could have done to prevent it. When I've tried to fight the determination, Choice has lied even when the photos were right in front of their face and mine.

No one told me when I signed up at there are maintenance people in your organization that won’t go to Ajo Arizona. My refrigerator broke, I put in a claim, two weeks later I call about it and find out company couldn’t find anyone to go out there to fix it. I found someone and it couldn’t be fixed. I bought a new one, filled a claim 2 weeks ago to money back and nothing has happened. Not even a mention that my claim will be accepted.

This was my worst experience. I supplied them with estimates only to l after have their people come by who told me my repairs were authorized. Then ended up receiving payment for one faucet vs 2 and nothing fir my toilet. When I finally spoke to amanager they explained I had done it wrong and that's all I would get. Awful communications and I cannot warn people enough to avoid this company.

I was shocked when my claim was denied to repair the broken handle of my refrigerator. This was definitely not caused by misuse! I paid $85 and nothing was done to fix it! I informed the person of the problem when I put in the claim over the phone. I wish they had told me that this wouldn’t be covered before I wasted $85!

It takes them forever to find a solution to a problem, procrastinating, giving a run a run with issues and telling me afterwards that it is my responsibility to order parts needed and the manufacturing companies do not sell parts to homeowners just to vendors. Very disappointing, the resolution manager's have a worst attitude than customer service staff. I will not be renewing my policy.

I called about A/C problems 3/1/2024. Today is 4/10 and this issue has still not been resolved. I have not heard from Choice. Every bit of commutation has been initiated be myself. They tell it’s under review and I will be notified within. 4 or 24 or 48 hours . This has not happened. Today they say they are going to resubmit my claim which means restarting this entire claim. It’s has been 7 Weeks. I would never recommend this service to anyone!
