I called choice after a maintenance company tried to sell me new electric motors for compressor. saw on my warranty book that it was also with my plan. called choice and you set up a service call for me I needed a 2nd opinion before a spent over 600 dollars. Boch brothers came out with in 24hrs and inspected motor and said no did not need to be replaced and if, it did was still under factory warranty. service call cost was well worth the money.

Have hade to have a hot water tank replaced, great responce to the problem. Just a couple of weeks ago had the cloths dryer start making lout noise. Had a service tech out within a few days, he figured out the problem in short order & had the part on order while still in the house. He rescheduled to come back & install the part. The part arrived in just a couple of days. Outstanding service.

They were very efficient on calling back right away, and not leaving me distressed with broken appliances in a new home for too long. They were all very professional and polite. Including the companies they have contracts with. Especially the appliance man. The same man has been here twice and he has been efficient and he is very helpful, as he is quite knowledgeable. Washer malfunction. Called in, quickly notified that claim was in process and who the service company would be. Came at appointed time, diagnosed issue. Would order parts and be back next day or the following day. Got a call the first day from the service tech. Parts in truck and on the way. Showed up in 30 minutes, made repair quickly, all good. Very good experience. Will keep this warranty in place, in fact, I have a 5 year term on the warranty.

after my first call to your company I was a little disappointed in the wait time... then after a second call I found out that the first person that I talked to misunderstood me... and my problem was not reported. then got it straitened out and had a service call from a very nice gentleman that fixed my heater... he was very polite and did not take long to fix my heater. thank you for send him to me I am much warmer now.

Went over information more than once to make sure I was well informed about the plan. His name was Seth H and he gave me his direct number, confirming it with me three times to make sure if I needed anything I could contact him. my first impression gives a 100 % rating.

Called in morning. Got a call stating contractor would be to our home between 11-3 the same day. Contractor called a while later and came early. They did the job, communicated about a part needed, came back with part later on and finished the two claims. Couldn’t be happier with the service as it was timely and much needed. CHW is the best home warranty I've ever signed up. I like how they're always available to help resolve your issues. They always find the solution for you when it's covered. Even when it's not covered they find alternative solutions. The Reps are very professional except once a while getting to talk to the wrong person who makes it hard. Sometimes the technicians who pick up the job mess up but if you call back CHW, they'd surely find you reassignment. But in general, if you're looking for the company that has you covered, I'd recommend CHW

I have never used Choice Home Warranty before. But I have to say when I was reading the program, I got a call from Leo one of your sales personal. He introduced him self and asked if he could walk me through the Contract's and I said it would be alright. Leo was very professional and never once tried to sell me anything. As he went though all the details on what was covered, he gave me a few options on yearly contract, I decided to go with the 39 month plan. 36 months paid, plus three months free. Leo gave 3 different plans to choose from and never once tried to push me in any way, as what plan I should get. Very well Done Leo! Thanks Tom Madson

I don't remember the exact date in November 2019, I called Choice Warranty for an electric dryer not working exactly as it should. This call was made sometime after 6:00 p.m. The next morning I had an e-mail informing me that the repair facility had been contacted. Before 10:00 am, I received another e-mail telling me that the service provider would be here by 8:00 p.m. I was called later to inform me that he may be a little late. He arrived shortly and the dryer was fixed. THANKS!!!

I appreciate how effortless the whole process was. No surprises! Which I love. Customer Service over the phone did a good job. Someone was in my house the next morning fixing our heater and we are not freezing anymore. The money I paid was what I was told which I was worried about because of the horrid stories I heard about other warranty companies. You followed through and I'm a satisfied customer. I was referred and I'm glad that I trusted my friend and I'm definitely paying it forward.

The policy is good. Our oven broke down right before Thanksgiving, but the service tech could not get our stove before Thanksgiving, so I bought the part needed for my oven & installed it. The service tech was on time the day he was suppose to be there and was super nice. He checked the oven to make sure the temperature was exact & it was. He did his job and was courteous & polite. Let's see how they are on the next service call!!

Outstanding service! We moved into our house last month and had a serious water leak last week. Erik (the plumbing technician) was very professional and highly knowledgeable. Unfortunately, when it rains, it pours. So our hot water heater stopped working. Dryer is no longer heating and refrigerator is freezing up and then getting hot. Sled choice and in literally a few hours their technician is on their way. For a small deductible, they would replace or repair. Couldn’t be better. I wish every home owner would do this and simplify the headache of who to call when something goes wrong.

So far after 6 years and a minimum of soft repairs, nothing major the represenatatives you have sent have been superb, knowledgeable and friendly. I'm in the process of a Air conditioning problem that I hope will be resolved and covered. A neighbor of mine had CHW and they told me that you cover the small stuff but renaig on major problems??? I sincerely hope this is not true after so many years as a repeating customer.

On Friday, I called CHW, spoke to a young man by the name of Jay. I explained we were having a problem not only with our shower but also refrigerator. This young man was polite and helpful. I think he's definitely an asset to CHW. He had a plumber here on Monday and appliance person on Tuesday. Yes, we are definitely satisfied with the service we received. Needless to say we will continue to be CHW customers

The price for coverage is very good. I’ve had other coverage that cost me quite a bit more. Choice charges $60 for a service call. Others charge $75 and up. I have never had to use Choice service yet thank goodness so I don’t know positively of their service but hoping it’s as good as the one I’ve previously used although it cost me a bit more. I must confess that Choice constantly calls and texts way too much when renewal time is upcoming. They start about two months before renewal time. I don’t like that so much.

I realized at 9 pm on a Monday, that my furnace was not working properly. I called Choice Home Warranty. They started a claim. The following morning I received an email and a phone message with the timeframe for the technician to arrive. I was also given the phone number of the technician. The tech called and stated he had a cancellation, could I meet him in 30 minutes. I sincerely hope all the technicians that CHW uses are as courteous and professional as Joe, the tech that fixed my furnace. He stayed to make sure everything was working and discovered my new thermostat was defective .

The company you sent out to fix my garage door was THE WORST! They wanted to charge me almost $350.00 to replace a $50.00 part that takes about 20 minutes to replace. I asked them if they could lower the price and they said NO, So I then asked what if I let them do the repair and the next day I call to get a quote and it is much less than their price and the man turned around walked to his truck and left. I immediately called another company and they came out to my house at 6:00 PM that day, replaced the part and was finished at 6:20 PM. My bill was $190.00! You are dealing with a company that takes advantage of your clients. Is this how you operate? Were you cohorts in this process? I would like to have a response from you on this!

There is always room for improvement. One of the issues we had, and it created a lot of bad interaction between me and the Home Warranty associates, was not being told at the time of purchase that we had to be able to show proof of yearly preventive maintenance, by a certified company, or the product was not covered fully. When we were sold the Home Warranty we were of the impression, per the home warranty seller, that all our covered products were covered 100%. Many people I've spoken with are of the same impression and were surprised/upset when they heard of our interactions with Choice Home Warranty regarding our air conditioner. Our refrigerator failed, after 4 service visits, and 3 replaced circuit boards, and three of those visits costing us the deductible, we had a service man come in whom stated it was the compressor. He ran into some resistance with Choice Home Warranty, however the compressor was replaced and the refrigerator has been working well. Our washer and dryer, of 18 years, failed. Knowing that we would be given the same answer as we were given on the air conditioner we chose to just purchase a new set and not involve Choice Home Warranty. A Home Warranty can still be an advantage. I feel the part regarding proof of prior yearly preventive maintenance should be disclosed up front. This was the most frustrating part of our purchasing a home warranty from Choice Home Warranty. Our recent claim was denied because it was not a covered item. The Choice Home Warranty associate handled herself very well in explaining, not a covered service item, and we understood.

I changed to Choice Home Warranty this year at a significantly reduced cost. Last week we had our first freezing weather and our heater was blowing cold air. I called Choice early the next day and spoke with a representative without waiting on hold for 45 minutes or more and received a call with a time and date for a repairman to come. That same day a repairman called and was available to come. He found the problem and fixed it that afternoon. I’m so happy to see that I made the right choice when I changed to Choice Home Warrenty.

Setting an appointment was fast and easy. The technician called within 24 hours and the appointment was scheduled in a day. It was simply astonishing and quick. I am satisfied with the service so far. We haven't had a 100 degree day since the service but I look forward to the air conditioning system working proficiently. My issue (toilet tank seals) was serviced by C-Force LLC, repaired by Mr C. It was done quickly and very professionally by Mr C. He did a super job and cleaned up after his work was done. I feel he needs to be recognized for the great job he did. Another issue (pool heater) has still gone unresolved. It took over a month for the techicians to diagnose the problem and submit for repair. Originally was told it was not covered but talked with someone at Choice and they seemed to agree it should be covered. Still being evaluated by the Case Manager. Very disappointed in how this has been handled so far. Would have a had time giving a 1 star rating. Still waiting for resolution. This issue makes it hard for me to recommend Choice to friends.

Choice selects to repair company, If the item cannot be repaired, it will be replaced at no additional cost to us. We think the reasonable cost is well worth the peace of mind.

I filed a claim on line and had a response within 4 hours and although I was unable to be home for the original appointment time, the company (JAS) was accommodating and changed it to the following work day. The men called 1/2 hr. prior to arrival and identified and fixed the problem with our clothes dryer. They were professional and friendly, showed me the damaged wheels driving the tub before they replaced them. I recommend Choice Home Warranty.

Our central air conditioner just quit on us during one of the hottest, most humid times of the year ! Choice Home Warranty was AWESOME by sending us a very respectable and knowledgeable repair service-5 Star Air Conditining repair on 17th Street in Pittsburgh, Pa. They responded ASAP and the air conditioner was repaired quickly! Choice Home Warranty paid for all costs of the repair except for, of course, our deductible as stated in our contract.

I am very happy with Choice Home Warranty. This was our first ever claim and they handled it quickly and professionally. We live in a rural area and our previous home warranty company would often take weeks to get us help. CHW had an appointment for us in just 3 days. That vendor did not show up, which was disappointing but not CHWs fault. I called CHW to report the technician never showed and they immediately found another vendor. Less than 24 hours later my A/C was repaired. I am very pleased with CHW.

Today, I called Choice to report my air conditioner was not cooling properly. I was immediately given a claim number and told that they would assign a repairman who would call me as soon as possible. Within an hour, I was called and my air conditioner was fixed by late afternoon. I am so grateful for such good and quick service on a day when the temperature reached 105 degrees. I just took out Choice Home Warranty today because they are 24/7. The company I've been with does not take phone calls, does not work week ends and hire people from across the globe I cannot understand. Thus...I've been w/o AC, in Florida, for since Sunday. They said they can't come until Tues. I have 2 dogs and I've been just giving them a spray down every couple of hours. Next time~ CHOICE is my 1st choice!!

When a technician that was sent out by CHW miss-diagnosed the problem that we were having with our dishwasher CHW reviewed out claim and totally reimbursed us for the money we spent getting our dishwasher repaired. The claim went out to vendors within a few minutes after calling them. Now I just need a vendor to contact me to set a time for services. We just purchased our home & it didn’t have a home warranty. I was reviewing different companies on line. It seemed like I had just pressed the button when a very nice person named Jerry S called me. We discussed what we were looking for in a home warranty. Jerry was very knowledgeable & answered all our questions. We never felt pressured into buying anything. We did buy the 5 year policy. We felt very comfortable with this. I cannot speak on the service since we just purchased the policy yesterday. I can say that Mr. S was great.

I am not particularly satisfied with the service provided by sales person who called me back for me to purchase the warranty. He didn't seem to pay attention to the information I provided. I tried a few times to make it clear that I am a realtor and was purchasing the warranty for a client. I had to correct him a few times and still the policy came to me with a combination of my information and client's information. He got the property address correct. He asked for my billing address when I gave my credit card for payment which he put a the policy holder's mailing address. He also set up my email address as the username. I noticed these errors when I reviewed the confirmation email I received. I immediately called back to have corrections made but gave up after waiting 30 mins for my call to be answered. I will try again tomorrow to have the policy information corrected. I was assured that the policy start date would be changed to 07/05/19 when my client closes escrow on the property but would appear as 08/04/19 until it was manually changed tomorrow.

I anticipated a long process with piles of documentation, delays and debates. It was the complete opposite. I can’t express enough how amazing and effortless this process was. Great reliable home warranty company. I am with Choice Home Warranty since 2017 and have renewed again for 2020. Last three various claims (A/C, Water Heater & Garbage Disposal) have been repaired and resolved by this company promptly. Technicians, Choice sent to my single family home to repair, were very friendly-efficient- professional and knowledgeable. Every time I had a repair, I paid only for service call. UPDATE*********: They updated the settlement amount to 250 more for a total of 750. They made me update my review before they disbursed the additional money. Stay away from this company. I don’t recommend at all. *************************************************** Worst home warranty company to invest your money . STAY FAR AWAY! I had a refrigerator that went down. The repair guy came out to to repair but needed a part. Replaced the part after me being without a refrigerator for 2 weeks. Then one month later both the display and freezer side not working. I had to pay another deductible $75. The warranty deemed the part needed was no longer available so they offered $499.99 to replace my double door, stainless steel , with water & ice maker refrigerator. I stated that was not comparable for the my current refrigerator not to mention I sank $150 in deductibles for 2 home visits. Their response was the cost of repair was what I was getting to replace my refrigerator. Very disappointed in their level of service. American Home Shield has a better policy! When I signed up with them they stated a tech would be at home within 24 hours of my call. It took 2 weeks before an appointment was set up. The one tech scheduled an appointment but never showed up. Please don't waste your money. Check out American Home Shield UPDATE: They updated the settlement amount. My issue is resolved

I know for sure that I made the best choice in selecting Choice Warranty. I have had 5 occasions to call Choice and each time I received excellent customer service and equally as important great technicians. The most recent brought me to tears when my heater blower broke, causing a domino effect and causing my brand new AC to freeze up. All of this in extremely hot weather. Praise God Choice covered the necessary repairs. I’m forever grateful to Choice.
