CHW was fast in its response to my recent air-conditioning outage. They quickly reviewed my request, determined that they could not find a technician in my area to do the work; then after I submitted some additional on-line paper work, gave me permission to find my own service/repair company...and, they provided a reimbursement for most of the billing for the repair. I thought CHW reimbursement amount was fair....the only thing that could be better is to provide the reimbursement faster...CHW says "within 30 days".

I've only used CHW once. You sent some independent electrician instead of a professional working for an electric company. That was not encouraging. The guy had a window from 11 am-3pm which meant i had to be home all day and reschedule my planned activities. He didn't show didn't call. I finally called him. He returned the call but was an hour late. When he got here he did check out breakers etc., and had to restart a GFCI plug. That was it. He didn;t do enough for me to say it was great so I gave a 7 for benefit of the doubt. I will say the guy is very polite and personable. I had other work that CHW did not cover so he had to come back next day and I pay for that out of pocket. I had him back in the interest of time so that I didnt have to hunt down another provider. He arrived timely. IF his work is satisfactory I will be happy to further recommend but I have to see how it works out.

We recently had our AC go out and I was worried about the wait and the cost. I shouldn't have been. We have been customers of Choice Home Warranty for a few years now and they have always been great. When a long-term renter moved out of and I prepared to sell my insured property, I found a few items that needed repair. I was so thankful for my Choice Home Warranty that found and covered a licensed plumber, an HVAC expert, and an electrician to put my place back in tip-top shape just when I needed them. I contacted CHW to repair a leaking dishwasher. I got a quick response that a repairman would be here in 2 days. That is where my problem worsened. The repairman did not have the necessary part to repair my dishwasher. He said he would order it and it should be delivered to my home by the end of the week. This was on May 12,2020 and I have not yet received the part (as of 5-22-2020). He also told me that the earliest date to complete my repair, once the part was delivered, would be June 3, 2020. My dishwasher was leaking so badly that the water had to be turned off in my kitchen sink. So I have to wash dishes in my bathtub and get water there to use in my cooking and cleaning in my kitchen. I experienced a similar problem with this same repair service on a refrigerator. I was without a refrigerator for 2 months before they finally told me it could not be repaired and they agreed to replace my refrigerator. I am very disappointed with this repair service!

Our family has been under contract with CHW for over 10 years for two different homes. While some claims have been disappointing due to some fine print non-coverage terminology, overall we are extremely satisfied with Choice. Appliance service times have been inconveniently long at times but fair in resolving the problems. Am I 100% satisfied? No. Will I renew our contract next year? Definitely YES. Do I recommend CHW to my friends? All the time. I use them so that is my best recommendation

Jeremy came out to repair my dishwasher. Asset the problem told me the part will be in tomorrow and I'll call to set up time. He did all that and showed up when he said he would. Friendly, professional , quality service. I was not quite sure of what I would get originally. I have had home warranties in the past that came with the home I purchased. I didnt always have a very good feeling of competence of folks coming out to do the work but this time was very positive with choice home warranty. Thanks again for a positive experience.

The agent was very helpful, steered me to my best product and made sure I got their best price. Immediately sent me the documentation that was needed for the title agent. Great service.

When we had difficulty with one of the recent vendors for plumbing, the Choice team went above and beyond and got us a different vendor and were very receptive to our requests. Once again my claim was processed immediately. Within 15 min I had appointment with technician who contacted me to find out if the appointment time is good for me. Next day technician came on time and took care of the problem. I payed only small standard fee and everything was done. I love the service and I recommend Choice Home Warranty to everybody.

1. Claim process was efficient 2. Response from repair contractor was timely 3. Claim offer on dryer (1st time $349.99, 2nd time $500.00) was sub-retail and not supporting the replacement of appliance as thought of prior on contract. 4. Claim experience with Case Manager (Ms. Yvette O) was not as efficient as it should have been; however, she said there were millions of claims to process. 5. The washing machine was fixed timely once the parts came in today. 6. I will continue to use Choice Home Warranty, but I hope their replacement process will be reevaluated to give the customer a more fair replacement item/appliance, etc. 7. My contract service is $60.00, but I had to pay $75.00 per claim. I sent a print screen confirmation of this fact to the Case Manager Ms. O.

They were both very Professional and Courteous. When it was down to making the final decision Choice Home Warranty worked out the best on coverage plan and price. I just signed up today so I cannot comment about the technicians or the product itself or customer services. I reached a very helpful sales agent who carefully explained everything and answered all my questions including several follow up calls and e-mails. He also gave me several pricing options and I got what I feel is a much better price compared to their competitors.

I'm in the process now of having my stove replaced. I didn't realize that you guys have changed from a replacement to just a partial replacement company, so I was surprised by that. I kind of wish you would have made that clear when the change was made. My stove must be replaced, you guys did not want to replace it so you offered me a partial payment. It's enough for me to pay down on a replacement, but I still have to come out of pocket and that's NOT what I signed up for. It also causes a great inconvenience when you have to wait almost 30 days to receive the replacement funds. This is why rating on trustworthiness is low. I think the customers should have been notified when you ended/changed the replacement policy, then we would have had a "CHOICE" on continuing our relationship with you. The dryer repair went exceptionally well, however er are still awaiting our reimbursement check!

The plumber dispatched was competent and swift in repairing my leak on the most recent claim. Although I had to dump all the foods in my spare refrigerator, CHW and the partnered repair company was a life saver for me this weekend. Excellent response time as the repair technician was able to work on my broken refrigerator before the scheduled appointment. He was able to get my spare freezer and the fridge coldness working normal again in a couple of hours. He was able to temporary repair my ice maker on the main fridge so we can have ice again until I contact the manufacturer to address defect the unit with moisture trapped issue. Thank you for the quick repair!

I had a situation w/ a dishwasher that was handled exceptionally well. Six months ago I called in a repair to my air conditioner. The repair man collected his $60 deductible and said we would get a call from the company. It turns out that he reported a Freon leak in my system but yet did not bring a sniffer to check where or what was going on. I was told that it would cost extra to have somebody come back with a sniffer. I called my air conditioning company and they did not find a leak. Due to EPA regulations they were required to vacuum out my system and replace it with the new more ecological gases. The system has been working perfectly for the last six months. I would expect someone from your company to call me to discuss a remedy to this failure

They've been responsive every time I've had to have a call. I had a clogged sink. They hired a plumber. He tried to overcharge me but I paid the sixty-five dollars which is what I'm supposed to pay. Then he wanted me to pay him directly an additional 300. I got Choice on the phone and they were very good and held firm to the contract. So he fixed my sink for sixty-five dollars and they paid him the rest. I'm pleased.

I made a claim three days ago and the contractor assigned to troubleshoot the dryer visited and fixed the dryer within 10 minutes and it is working fine. I am admired on the quality services of Choice Home as it was my first service from them which was dealt in a highly responsive way and performed by highly professional licensed Technician. I have been a customer for over 5 years. This service has improved each year and as a landlord, I could not have survived without the assistance of Choice. Highly recommended for persons who own/rent property. Specifically, CHW has added an internet site where it it very easy to log claims, review status or ask questions. Of course this can be done via phone, but the Internet is much faster. Additionally, when there is a claim of an appliance that must be replaced, CHW is great to work with you to best arrive at a closeout of the replacement claim.

Just before my warranty expired, the microwave oven died. I used the internet to set up a service call. The repairmen came as promised, diagnosed the problem, and were back the next day with the needed parts to fix the problem. Very Quick in this case. The representative I spoke with was Jennifer and I believe she was a manager. She was very knowledgeable of the warranty items the company provides she answered all my questions and was very professional. So far I have not used this service as I just open the account today but I expect and hope the customer service will be as great as the service I received in obtaining a quote and purchasing a home Warranty package.

We contacted Choice for a problem with our refrigerator. It quit working. Bad timing but when is a good time. We were promptly given a claim number and subsequently informed when we can expect a technician to repair. The tech arrived as planned and serviced the frig. Simple fix but well worth fee! Without Choice who do you call and who would come during the COVID-19 problem.

The coverage is great and, in 3 years of being with CHW, I have not had a negative experience with their coverage or service, and they have not tried to deny claims or "take" us for more. The service providers have been fair, honest, hardworking, and will generally do whatever it takes to get the job done right the first time.

I live on an island with no bridge. Consequently, Choice Home Warranty is most often unable to provide service. They do, however, allow me to use my own licensed, insured repair person who does not contract with them. The difficulty is that I hate to tie up the repair person who has already been paid his fee while he calls the the authorizations department. Today, his time would have resulted in a savings to me of only $20. Consequently, I sent him on his way and called Choice myself. Apparently, I cannot be trusted to tell the truth that a breaker was replaced because the old one had failed. So, I do not receive the $20 from Choice. This is not logical and shows a distinct lack of trust in the customer.

When I first signed on for my CHW contract, I thought "this might work but how good could they really be?" They were here for me for all my calls - sending wonderful qualified people to do my repair work. What is amazing (and I really did not expect it would be this good) I receive a call back or email communication immediately. They have showed me that their contract means as much to them as it does to me - good move to have started this contract. The only thing which would make it better - if they offer coverage for my t.v. sets - which they do not.

Great experience. Choice reacted quickly when my air conditioner failed. They arranged a technicians to troubleshoot the system within 48 hours. He found that the blower motor was not working, ordered the part and made the repairs the next day. This is why you buy a home warranty and Choice is the best. I have one for my house and one for my rental.

Our dryer was not heating. I entered a claim on-line and got an automated call back indicating a service provider, Appliance Fix Service, had been assigned and would e coming the same day between 3:00 and 8:00 PM. Shortly after that I got a call from Shan, the AFS technician, asking if it was convenient for us if he could come sooner. He did and fixed our dyer in a very short time. He was extremely polite and professional. Completely satisfied with the service provided! Would definitely recommend him. Very satisfied with the quick and competent response on this service call.

I’ve only had to deal with small appliance and plumbing claims, and so far I’m happy with that. Their subcontractors were fast and responsive. The technicians were okay. CHW allowed me to cancel the claim and created a new claim if I needed to add more of similar issues to the same claim. Although, I’ve had a claim on my pool leakage probably about 2 yrs ago, I couldn’t remember the details but I remember that they didn’t approve the claim, and I still have leaks until now. In addition, from reading google reviews, it seems that more reviews stated that CHW is a scammer who tries to avoid repairing big appliances like HVAC or refrigerator, etc. So, I’m a bit skeptical about them and I’ll just have to wait and see when I have to repair big items.

After our garbage disposal stopped, we called Choice Home Warranty for which we are a member with a contract. The company they dispatched was amicable, courteous, helpful, and polite. After the replacement was installed, the technician gave us advice on how to take care of our new disposal and what not to place in there. We found this most helpful considering we are Senior Citizens and are always eager to learn.

CHW came through on my home repair of the garage opener, however, the service provider's technician of RJ Garage Door Service was very unprofessional. He attempted to get me to pay for the repair in addition to the service fee even before sending the diagnostics to CHW. Offered no assistance in trying to reprogram the garage opener in my vehicle, even though I realize he was not obligated to.

I am glad that I signed up for choice home warranty. I had a natural gas leak and It saved a lot of money for this incident. I was able to resolve a toilet issue too with the same call fees of $45. I had a bad experience in the past about a.c. problem where it was not fully covered for some reason but this time was a very good experience. Thank goodness I did not cancel it.

I had a 15 year old washing machine go out about 6 months after I purchased a Choice Home Warranty plan. They offered me $300 cash, but I thought that was a little low to replace my machine. I talked to the lady that was out in charge of my claim and we agreed to a $400 settlement. We were both ok with that amount. She said it would take about 4 to 4 weeks to get the check, and I was able to replace my washer. Check will be in the mail.

I had a issue with the ice maker on my Samsung refrigerator. I called Choice to file a claim, they send a repairman to check it out the next day. The technician stated it was normal wear and tear on the part and that it should be cover under my policy. The warranty company stated it was a factory defect with my particular model, and refused To pay for the repairs which extremely displeased with. I had even paid extra for ICE maker coverage, But after speaking with someone in the resolution department we were able to come up with a compromise, an the warranty company Did finally agree to pay $275 toward the repair of my unit, leaving me a balance of only $42 which I think was fair, This whole process took a couple of months to complete which I feel like that’s too long but I am happy with the resolution of my problem.

Eddie's Repair called. He arrived ahead of time diagnosed, made a quick call to claims and explained the problem. Left my home to retrieve the part needed. Moved the item of my concern quietly, repaired it, and placed it back to its original position. Once he was finished, I wrote him a check and he was off to his next assignment. I was impressed with his professionalism, efficiency and the excellent job he performed. Choice Home Warranty is the "BEST." I am well pleased with the price and the associate's work performance.

I would say for a certainty that the young man that I spoke with was spot -on with knowledge. I was recruited by another home warranty company. Their deal was $49.99 per month and a $100.00 deductible, and they would not cover my 2nd water heater, nor my stand-alone freezer. I got all of the coverage from Choice Home Warranty, including my 2nd water heater and stand-alone freezer for less per month, and $65.00 deductible. I was treated very well by your sales associate, and now I am comfortable.
