When I called to inquire about CHW I asked how long the wait was for a repair. I was told it was 24 hours in my area. However when I needed servicing on my AC it took over 1 week to get a technician out. The technician was awesome. I am disappointed in CHW's reply to my question about turnaround.

Send out people who are totally incompetent break the appliance that they are surpose to be fixing .He broke my ac in a spot he knew would not be covered by choice warranty so he could do the job independently. When I put in a claim to appeal the appeals person just kept saying that the part wasn't covered, not taking any responsibility for the fact that they sent out a person who was rude ,didn't want to go in the attic because it was to hot and was slamming and kicking the unit never said anything about what the other gentleman they sent out had sent picture's of which leads me to believe that the other gentleman damaged that part because he kept saying he could replace my ac through his business. Very disappointing

They refused to work with us in putting the money they would have spent on a tank water heater towards a tankless system when the plumber they sent could not get a tank water heater for another week. We would have to go without hot water for a total of a week and a half to wait for a tank. In getting the tankless system we were able to get it installed in 24 hours. I would have thought that they would have some compassion and work with us on this. The company had absolutely no compassion for the problem of no hot water for over a week. I'm disappointed that they refused to consider our situation. We were not asking for them to pay for the whole tankless system just to assist by using the money they would have spent on the tank to help offset our $3500 cost.

We had a drain stoppage a while back at one of our rentals. The company called for the issue could not fix it. Choice could not find another company. We had to fix the problem ourselves at a higher cost plus the fee for the Choice service provider. There was another drain stoppage at a later date and the service provider was able to fix it.

I really don't have any luck with them. Every time I have a problem, it is an emergency and they ALWAYS take days and weeks before anything can be accomplished! Our water heater went out " it was going to take three days before someone could come t just to look at it! Not fix it! The leak in my bathroom fixture takes the cake. They had a plumber come out, he showed up a week after I called, told me my water faucet needed to be replaced, and that he would have to replace it with a builders grade faucet" it was going to be totally different than all the other fixtures in my house, not even the same metal. We told him to get us one of the same color and we would pay the difference. We gave him his $65, and we have not heard from him since, at least a month. So we called another plumber. Turns out, all we needed was the fixture that was there to be tightened down. The CHW guy took our money and skipped town, won't answer his calls and his voice mail is always full!

We acquired this from previous homeowner. 65.00 service call every visit is costly esp. After paying 600+ for warranty. Microwave will be replaced but your company is only giving us 191.00 to replace, joke, plus in the form of ecard from lowes plus have been told it will take 30 days to process. Next, disposal needs replacing, we have had to dispute your decision bc you didn't gather correct information regarding warranty. Stove has also been issue because tech sent in incorrect information causing me to straighten out. Plus, once case manager is assigned, we have 15 min to address our case. Wow. Guess I have to talk fast. I have told every one of your reps I am glad I didn't purchase.

I had my A/C units maintained and I was told I need new unit. I called and a service man came agreed but all Choice did was put some Freon in it and moved on. The serviceman did say you need a new unit. Approximately 2 months later it stopped working again. Choice came and repaired it and again said I need a new unit but didn’t replace it.

The technicians are sent out fairly quickly but sometimes they are not the best ones available. I had a technician come out recently to fix a problem another created. Some of the agents I’ve talked with have been very helpful but I have fought with some over simple projects because they say the condition was preexisting.

Offered me $726 to replace a $2500 refrigerator when the failed to fix it. Then an electrician diagnosed a necessary repair, but I had to pay him $314 to fix it. I could have paid him that at the start and saved the $65 service charge.

I have been without air conditioning now for over 3 weeks. The technician has been out here 4 times already. Replaced the blower motor on the furnace and made adjustments and now thinks it's a TXV valve but wasn't sure and wanted to have someone else look at it. There were miscommunications and he was supposed to come out today but the part is on back order and rescheduled for Saturday unless the part doesn't come in. So it will be a full 4 weeks without air conditioning

too long to get parts for repairs!!!!! purchased and repaired my own garbage disposal . I was told that I would not get service for a full week!! Not the type of service that I paid for.!! I feel that I should be reimbursed for the purchased garbage disposal?!!! I purchased a 1/4 hsp badger insinkerator from Home Depot on 6/12/21 for $116.63 and installed it myself.

only used you two times both times I had to replace the products on my own due to the service people you sent were telling me that they couldnt find the manufacture numbers on the dryer hence I had to pay for a new one. When issues with the washer arose your service person got the machine to work & as soon as I put a load of laundry in it ceased working & once again I had to replace the product. I dont feel that paying the amount of money we pay you is worth it as you do NOTHING !!!

Customer Service is horrible, they don't really listen to you and repeat canned responses. The technicians are a hit or miss and mostly miss for me. I had one show up a day early, at night, and unannounced because he was "in the area", I had another fix a ceiling light leaving a huge 2inch gap around the base plate because he installed the wrong size, so I was basically looking into my attic; he also "cleaned up" by shaking everything off onto my INDOOR doormat leaving leaves and debris all over the front entrance. I called you all to complain and said I did not want him to return to fix it (the guy was sketchy and the job done was insulting) yet he showed up the next day and stayed in my driveway for several minutes, ringing my phone, door, the works, then he leaves to only return and stay there. It was a scary experience and he finally texted that he was outside and yet again now I had to explain that I did not want him there. Yet another one, a plumber, entered my home with no shoe covering and tracked red mud from the rain throughout my house (to this day, I have the stains on my bedroom carpet). For these reasons, I'm not renewing.

May 4, 2021 I filed my first claim for the air conditioner that wasn't working. The repair person hired by Choice replaced the fan on the unit. I didn't need the air conditioner again until June 6. The air conditioner did not turn on. I again called Choice, who sent the same repair person. When he tried to turn on the unit there was a loud pop. He then told me I needed a new condenser. Choice denied the claim saying the malfunction was due to a build up of dirt in the filter. I called our local technician who found the newly installed fan was rotating in the wrong direction and one fuse was blown. He installed the fan properly and replaced the fuse and my air conditioner is now working. I sent the invoice from the company that repaired the unit which outlined their findings to my Choice case manager as instructed. I have not had direct communication from Choice since then. It is impossible to call the first assigned case manager, as they do not provide a phone number.

First we were issued a check for $350 to buy a new dish washer, can't fined a dishwasher for that amount. Second we made a claim over a week ago for what you called a plumbing stoppage. I have not been notified if and when this will be repaired. I was told that action on the claim would be handled with in 24 to 48 hours. I have had to clean up water ever day for over a week.

You were non responsive to my AC problem when I called back after my appointment. The company you sent came out to repair my AC on Wednesday, did not return for one week with a part they normally carry on their truck. I was without my AC for 9 days. I don't consider that good service. When I informed you on Friday after 2 days since first visit by tech. I got the old run around. Choice let me contact them and find out what is the problem.' No return call by you. I wish I had never signed on for 3 more years. When the tech returned the following We'd. He acted shocked that nobody had com out for a simple part replacement. He changed the part in 10 minutes and left. Something is wrong with this picture.. why don't you give me my money back and that way I can sign on with another maintenance company.
