I have waited for almost 2 months to have a competent technician come to repair my washing machine. I receive NO updates from Choice as to the status of my request, NOTHING on the website to let me know what the progress is. The only way I find out anything is if I call and ask. I will probably cancel this policy and find another company to purchase my warranty from.

THE TRUE ITEM THAT ARE FIX, FOR PLUMBIND THEY DO DON'T FIX WHAT THEY CALL SECONDARY DAMAGE, (iF YOU HAVE A LEAK IN PLUMBING AND IT DAMAGE THE WALLS, THEY WILL FIX THE PLUMBING BUT NOT THE HOLE IN THE WALL. IN PLUMBING ALSO UNDER MY KITCHEN THEY ONLY FIX WHAT THEY CALL THE U JOINT AND WILL NT REPLACE THE OTHERE PARTS. THEY SADY THIS IS HIDDEN IN THE CONTRACT. THEY DO NOT MAKE YOU AWARE OF THIS BEFOR YOU SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THEM. iT ONE OF THE WORST COMPANY EVER. i HOPE TO FIND SO COMPANY BETTER TO DEAL WITH. vERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER.

Very disappointed to learn that my second refrigerator and freezer were not covered under the warranty because I was told all appliances would be covered when I purchased the warranty. This is not my first disappointment in that response was slow to get service for my air conditioning unit which failed on the Labor Day weekend. In fact, the first repairman who arrived was totally incompetent and sold us, probably unnecessarily, freon for the system and was trying to sell us another control unit. The second repairman realized it was a burned wire and had it fixed in 15 minuutes.

CHW gave me a time of 11-3 for my contractor and after waiting called the contractor and said he will be at the property at 5. Needed to change the appointment day. They need to correlate better with who they use. Still waiting for my microwave to work.

Choice do whatever the can not to cover an issue. The have sent out companies that was not knowledgeable of the issue at hand and they have deny to fix stuff that my policy clearly states that it’s covers. I have even been advised by choice customer service to put in a claim for something being told that it was covered and then after paying my $75 to the company I was told it wasn’t covered.

They suck. I haven't gotten no money back. I've been calling them for a whole week now and I cannot get in touch with no one. They don't come out when they say they're going to come and when your stuff were down, they're not there for you, but they won't pay money on time. Every month they want their money on time. If you're not on time, they will call you. But when it's time for them to fix my stuff, they're not there for me.

The first time they ordered the wrong water heater although they were sent the measurements and then when they were told it was the wrong water heater they ordered another water heater and the plumber mentioned that they ordered it. However, it was out of stock where they ordered it, and I have not been able to get in contact with anybody. Nobody's called me back to find out what's going on. I hope this is resolved soon. And then I may just cancel. I don't know what I'm going to do.

I've used my warranty three times and they have very good technicians that they use, but two out of the three times they either disallowed the repair or they charged me for something that was part of the repair. So it seemed like a bit of a scam. When my old company charged 65, it was 65 to fix it. But with Choice Home Warranty they seem to always find some reason not to allow the whole thing or all of it, so they each time I had to pay 100 or 150 - more than the 65.

Slow response. Once they get there, they're very good. I tried to use it on my ice machine, which I was told when I bought it that it would be covered. It was installed. It's not an ice machine in a refrigerator, it's an ice machine in a separate appliance. And when I called about a repair they said it wasn't covered.

It takes FOREVER to get a technician out. I'm now going on 4 weeks without a dishwasher because the tech that they send won't give us an ETA on when a simple latch will arrive which I could have ordered in 48 hours on Amazon. As a broker, I have always pushed to have a CHW policy provided for my client but this is the first time I've lived in a home covered by CHW. Needless to say, I will no longer be negotiating to add CHW policies for my clients.

Recently, I had an issue with my pool's filter cartridge tank, causing the pool to get dirtier due to the broken part. Despite submitting a claim to the home warranty company, they initially denied it, claiming the dirty filters were a result of the broken part recirculating dirty water. After multiple attempts to prove the issue with pictures, they finally approved the claim, but I had already fixed it myself to avoid further damage to the pool. The delay in approval led me to take matters into my own hands to prevent having to drain the pool for an acid wash. The overall experience with the home warranty company was frustrating and time-consuming.
