I just recently used it for 2 things. My oven was not working correctly and the technician came out and got the part, got that replaced and I'm very happy with that. However, I also have a washer dryer stack and the washer started to leak and the technician came out and recommended that it be replaced but Choice said no, get the parts and fix it. So I waited for the parts to come in and the technician to come back and then when he came back he could not repair it because he couldn't get the old part out. Then Choice told me they would offer me so much money, which was about half of what it cost me to replace it. And they said I could talk to an agent to discuss it. But when I got around at that time to get the agent took another week because their appointments were all taken. So that was another week. And so I just spoke with the agent a couple of days ago and then she said, well you know, I just wanted to make sure that there's nothing that we're missing and she said we're well aware that you have a stacker unit. I thought maybe they thought I just had a washer because the amount they are offering is just enough to replace the washer, basically a very basic washer which is fine. But she said no, we're well aware it's a stacker, but she said we offer you the price that is wholesale. And I said, well, I can't get it for wholesale and and I said it's going to cost me twice what you're offering me. And she said, well, that's what it is, so I'm very unhappy with them, quite frankly because I was under the assumption they would either fix it or they would replace it. And they're not doing that.

They're very friendly and they try to be helpful, but they just don't seem to understand that Montana is a different state than the others and we're pretty widespread, so it's kind of difficult for them to respond to people and get people to come and visit with us, help us with our issues.

I had an air conditioner problem last summer, they couldn't get anybody. That's why I had Choice Home Warranty to take care of it for me, so I wasn't very happy on that one. I had my oven go out here in January and again I am saying they didn't have anybody to do it. It's just kinda irritating to get that. If you want to do it yourself, why do I have the warranty. I could turn it in to get rebated, but I just didn't know that at the time. Then 2 days later I got an e-mail saying they'd come to be there the next day to fix it up. And they did, they did a good job.

I think that they are more concerned with fixing a problem over and over again instead of just replacing it, which would save time as well as money. Overall, they fixed my refrigerator ice maker at least 3 to 4 times. Everything's been replaced, so we'll just see how long it'll last before I have to call them again and just have someone else come out to fix things instead of trying to replace the actual unit.

It's fairly simple to get online and get somebody out to take a look at the problem. Every once in a while, they'll send out somebody that just really doesn't know what he's doing. I think they need to do a little bit more research on who they're hiring.

They don't follow up with you and let you know when the repair people are going to be coming, and then all of a sudden these repair people just show up on your doorstep. That's kind of extremely inconvenient. And then I don't like the way they band-aid things, they don't fix it. It was a 22 year old central air conditioning unit they repaired. They replaced the coil, but then that overloaded on the other two parts. So that blew the coil. So then the next time they came out they replaced the coil and the other part, which would put a strain on the other part. So then all three things were blown and I was without air conditioning with my 80 year old parents for the hottest summer of 2020 or 2021. They did everything they could to not replace it, and I had to wind up replacing my air conditioning unit when they really should have. I wouldn't recommend Choice to anybody. I wouldn't recommend any home warranty program.

We've had one really good experience and one that didn't start out so good. We had an air conditioning problem, but it took him forever to get back to us and then if I remember, the guy changed the date a couple of times. And sometimes they just don't call back. The actual service on site when it is happening is good.

They were going to pay me $200 for a new oven, and I call customer service and I told him you couldn't even buy the knobs off of an electric oven for that. And they said I could either take it or they would have the serviceman come back and repair it like I asked them. It's been working ever since.

The folks that they sent out, that I've had them come out to fix not only my water heater, but I've had them come out to service plumbing in the past and everything else, they're very professional, and have been very good. They don't even know I'm a customer. I keep getting emails from them wanting me to sign up for a policy, and I already have one. Yes, I have um, actually an emergency and I was informed that they do not handle emergencies. I had a broken thermostat that needed to be replace and so I had it replaced it on my own. Even though I did make that a claim, they got back to me about a week and 1/2 later. It is very hard to reach a human being to speak with, and when I do, they usually speak a foreign language that I sometimes cannot understand, and the emails are are not informative.

I have used the home warranty a couple time and was willing to give 5 stars until this last time. I have been without a furnace for over a month. The initial problem was fixed within 2 weeks which is slow. But the furnace was leaking gas. When I had the gas company check my lines they found the lines were good and found the leak in the furnace and red tagged it. The warranty company would not accept the gas's utility as they were not a company they work with. Meanwhile while they are making me jump through hoops I have no heat!!

Technicians are awesome. Came timely and fixed the issue/addressed the problem. Choice Warranty provided us gift cards to replace our microwave and dishwasher, but the cost of installation from the store is about what the gift cards equated to. It would make sense to pay the Choice Warranty Tech to come and install then pay close to $400 for installation. I appreciate the gift cards, but didn't think that I would be coming out of my pocket for installation costs

My problem reported with my ice maker not ejecting ice in my freezer is claim # 179837919. The technician arrived and replaced parts, sent a report to Choice to Home Warranty for additional parts needed to complete the work to fix my icemaker problem. I have contacted Choice home Warranty on this issue several time, especially when my credit card should have been charged the $45.00 copay and was charged $225.00. I have called several times to Choice Warranty and the The Sears AE technician assigned to fix my ice maker not ejecting ice problem broke the Flipper #WP2198633 at $22.15 while attempting my initial problem . have not received a resolution.

We recently moved into a condo which had an issue with the refrigerator icemaker not working. The previous owners contacted CHW to fix it but the repair person did not come out on a timely basis and could not fix the problem. He ordered a part which was supposed to fix the issue but the second repair person could not come out until after we moved in. He said a panel was burnt out and the refrigerator could not be fixed and would need to be replaced. We contacted CHW to replace it and they said they could not replace it at all and only offered $1500 although the refrigerator cost over $4000 to replace. I tried to contact a manager to assist us but was not able to get through to anyone after many attempts.
