The service has been pretty good. They respond quite quickly, it's just they can't get it together about ordering parts and things like that. My washing machine quit. They came over quite quickly. Within a couple days. They were here to have somebody look at it. He ordered parts, parts came, somebody came to put put them in. They weren't the right parts. Still have no washing machine. And it's been, I think we're going on three weeks now without a washing machine.

I had an oven go out and. I filed the claim for repair. The first company came out and it was terrible. I basically called and asked that they find a competent service technician. Which they did, and he was excellent. Solved the problem and actually did went beyond what the call was for.

Everytime I've called I've gotten an appointment in 24 hours. Recently, the dryer was making a thump noise and I had the technician come out and there were coins that got into the drum and he fixed it for $65.

I think I have been with them for almost 5 years and most of the time I've had good experiences with them. A good experience was they worked with me to take care of our microwave, which was an old microwave. They paid me for it because they could not find a suitable replacement.

I needed to used my warranty for a new faucet that was replaced that wasn't getting hot water. It was referred to one of their contractors and it's been fixed. I think the service charge is kind of high because I started out at $45, now it's $85.

Every year or so they try to raise the rate and they don't ever tell you and I'm on a fixed income and they're always trying to give away stuff for free, but they won't leave long term customers alone. And then when you use the warranty, like I'm waiting today to get my dishwasher fixed and I have been without it for 10 days, so I'm not real happy with the way they scan their people that they use to come do the work. I think they need to improve on that and know who they're sending and the people that they're sending need to be more more prompt. I've had the parts in my house for about a week now. I think that home choice warranty could do a better job about that. I think that when we have a long term customer like myself, you can leave us alone, especially when I've explained to them I had cancer, I'm on disability and I can't afford to have them keep jacking my rate up every year because they throw it in the computer and it spits it out at the higher rate. They even tried to raise the service fee rate and they don't give you any warning. When you bring it to their attention, they don't give you any hassles about reversing it back to what you agreed upon, but they shouldn't even mess with it. And if they do, they should send in writing the fact that they need to do this or this or this, and give you the choice at that point, so it's not a surprise. They told me it was supposed to be $75 and they go, well, it's going to be $85. Well, no it's not. It's $75 because that's what we agreed upon. And then I pay a rate of $47.17 a month. It's gone up to $55 something or other without any notification. They reversed it and then they tried to give you a month free. I don't need their month free, I just need them to leave me alone.

I used my warranty to replace my oven, and I was reimbursed for less than half of what the oven is worth. It was not repairable. I was very happy with the latest appliance that I needed to have replaced. It was the garbage disposal and the person who installed it was very knowledgeable and very nice.

I've had some instances where they don't cover items. And it's a bit disappointing. We had a washing machine issue and they claimed they had a surge and therefore did not want to cover the part. And we did not have any surge in our power. It was just probably turning the machine off and that was very disappointing. The technician left my machine unassembled and never returned because Choice would not allow him to return to put it back into place.

Had this warranty for a few years have used it a few times. My dryer broke down ChoiceHome warranty technician couldn't fix it. Choice decided to compensate $335 towards a dryer. There's no way a gas-dryer costs $300 to replace given that to install a gas dryer costs $500 gas dryers cost $800 and up. That's very disappointing and disturbing. Warranties are meant to replace lost appliances/ covered items under warranty.

I had a very good experience with a dryer repair. I was disappointed when I signed up because the day after I signed up, I got an email offering limited roof coverage. I called to get it, but they said they could not add it because I was not a new customer, even though I had only signed up the day before.

I have had good results with Choice. Only once did I think the wrong vender was called. This time we had to call our own man because of the deep freeze making heating companies less available especially over the weekend. I was happy that Choice opted to cover our expense for the repair about 15% less than the bill but glad we got the job done.

Getting the service tech out fast was good. Choice Home Warranty determined to not repair the microwave due to age. They offered $191 for a convection microwave which does not cover the replacement nor the installation. Choice Home Warranty is very good when comes to providing service and the item can be repaired but definitely not an actual replacement but only a portion of the cost.

The overall process was quick and easy. The technician was knowledgeable, professional and on time. After the initial diagnosis the parts were ordered, arrived and installed trying to trouble shoot the problem. Our Dishwasher will need to be replaced. You do not get replacement value but I was offered a fair price for the machine in the form of an e-credit to Lowes. I'm still waiting on that but over all it was good.

The reason I give this is because the agents don't pay attention to the addresses or the home types so I can end up getting people that don't work on my home because of the agent also they don't help you to make sure that the work gets done you have to do all of the footwork of recalling and finding out with the person or the company is to complete your work. not paying attention

The first repair minor and they sent 5 star rated company the second was much larger for ac compressor and they sent a never heard of company with not even a uniform shirt and zero rating. Of course claim was denied even though I change filters etc every 45 days. They're great for small repairs and screw you on larger ones. I will be canceling and going n g with American home warranty they a r e harder to reach but don't cheat you

I'm happy for the most of my claims that were relatively small but when my refrigerator crashed choice would not fix it and only gave me $988 dollars to buy a compatible refrigerator that retails for $3,300. The technician they sent told me Choice would only pay a portion to replace my refrigerator. He gave me the names of other companies that would have replaced it. I was misled by their salesman about replacements.

I have found this appointment to be confusing! My technician came Sept 18 and found our ice maker was not working. He ordered the part and I paid the $60 fee. Today he came back to install the part but no parts cane to my house. Luckily John had one part with him, which he installed. The other part (new flap for ice maker door) has not arrived and he will need to make another hoouse call when that arrives. I have not renewed our coverage until I got this call completed. Right now Iam on the fence concerning renewal.

I have to make multiple calls and talk to multiple people to get situations resolved in some cases. Not all. My air conditioner stopped working and so they went ahead and I had it repaired and they paid the full $1,500 that was under the contract. The only downside was it was a process I had to go through to get them to approve it.

One time with our plumbing we were having an issue with our plumbing and and the plumber they sent out arrived in his own personal vehicle and then told me that I had to go buy draino for my drains. I had to persuade him to fix something underneath the sink in order for him to actually do something when he was here.

Recently I needed the microwave replaced and the technician came out, checked the microwave, and the microwave was not worth fixing, so choice offered me a gift card toward purchasing a new one. Last year my refrigerator technician came and he was trying to find out what was going on with the refrigerator and instead of repairing it, he broke a piece. That was in July I think, and it took him until December to get the piece back and I have to go choice and put a complaint and then they send me another company. They sent me Sears repair, effective and fixed. I think that the customer support for choice is good. The problem is the providers, the companies that they hire to do the job.
