The service from the technician was very good, what I was unhappy with is when I reported the problem I could not talk to anyone. So even though I knew the make, model and what was wrong with the stove. If the technician hadn't went out of his way to get the part and return to complete the repair I would have been without an oven another day or two.

When my dryer was deemed unfixable I got a gift card from youth Loews...but not until a month later. I couldn't wait a month without a dryer..bought one from Loews but they wouldn't take the gift card a month later. So now I have a gift card but do not at the moment have money to purchase something else. Would have appreciated just getting the money instead of a gift card!!

Our latest experience with our A/C was great. Living in AZ, if the A/C fails in 115 weather, we would really be in trouble. CHW contacted a great A/C repairman who came when promised, diagnosed the problem, contacted CHW for approval and then quickly repaired the A/C. We were very pleased.

Choice Home Warranty has been quick to get technicians out to our home for common appliance issues. When an appliance is not worth replacing Choice offers the absolute lowest compensation price for any object. In my experience, our $1000 Dishwasher failed and was to be replaced. Choice offered a maximum of $300 for replacement. Our $500 microwave failed and replacement of $200 was offered. CHOICE HOME WARRANTY HAS FAILED TO PROVIDE SEPTIC PUMPING SERVICE FOR OVER A FULL YEAR - WE HAVE HAD TO REACH OUT TO THEM LITERALLY DOZENS OF TIMES AND THEY HAVE SETUP MULTIPLE APPOINTMENTS. To this day, we continue to wait and call and hope that Choice Home Warranty will actually fulfill their obligation. Another note - WE PAID EXTRA TO ADD SEPTIC SERVICE.

The full contract terms were never discussed or signed on when signing the homeowners warranty during closing. Once I had to file a claim the materials used was the least efficient AC unit and the other two claims were denied based on the fine print of what is normal wear and tear and non covered tracing of the electrical problem. It is not fair to charge $69 for coming to my home to say the issue is not covered. There are many things that are not covered that are never discussed until you make a claim. I am not sure how they're the best home warranty or maybe they're the best of all home warranties who are not very good.

It has everything that I needed and wanted to get my appliances fixed. I had one big issue with them, they didn't fix my ceiling right. It was falling and they sent someone out here to supposedly fixed it and they didn't fix it right. When I called the company to tell them the issues they still didn't get it fixed right. In the end we fixed it ourselves.

My sink broke, and the contractor that came out to investigate said that I broke it. I had to buy a different sink and pay for the installation myself because home serve wouldn't cover it due to the contractors opinion of the break. I did not break my sink and I deeply resent that he indicated that I was responsible for the parts wearing out I have had other good experiences where my water heater went out, and I had a plumbing issue that was fixed immediately but the kitchen sink left a bad taste in my mouth

Very difficult to get a real person to talk to. I've had trouble with multiple issues back and forth. My toilet broke and it was running so we called them to come and fix it and the technician broke the handle. I'm not very satisfied at this moment because it's very difficult to get a human being on the phone and multiple times I've had to call for the same issue and they have different information each time. I've had to do new claims and I keep having to spend the fifty dollars. Things are still not fixed.

I asked them to send another company technician to have a second opinion. They do not listen to what customers say. In general speaking they're okay but once a while they need to pay more attention.

For our very first call we had an issue with our washing machine.They had someone come out.The guy tried to fix something supposedly but it didn't work and it got worse and then they sent another person out to look at it and I had water leaking from the machine onto my carpet. And then after that they sent somebody else out. They didn't give me enough for replacement costs. So honestly we weren't very happy with that situation. Every time they send somebody new out they cancel the other person in the queue and then I can send a note over but they won't even accept them.

Sometimes the technician doesn't know what they're doing but sometimes you get a really good one. My dryer was not working, it wouldn't close and they sent out a technician, she said the tub was out of balance because we had overloaded it so they denied the claim. Then I talked to another guy and we found out we just had to clean all the lint out of it and then it worked.

Really hard to get a hold of someone. It also seems like the people they train don't know what they are talking about. I had to pay out of pocket for my oven and I should not have had to pay out of my pocket. Some of the people that we had were great, like the last guy that had come and helped was just fantastic but some of the people that they have I feel like I'm an inconvenience for them. I had used Choice at my previous home and they had done okay for me there. My oven quit working and it took them forever to get someone out here, it was literally two weeks. I was without an oven for the holidays and then they wouldn't replace the part, they said it was too expensive. I don't know that I will renew with them for the new year because I wasn't very happy with how things went the last time.

I filed a claim for an AC issue, I had a family member that was under in home hospice care. The scheduled appointment was for 3 day from the claim date. I asked if we could check if another vendor could come out sooner. I was told if they did it would cancel the current vendor and then it might delay the service. I feel like under the circumstances it should be someway to check on for an earlier appointment time. It was 100 degrees in Texas.

My washer broke and I had the repair people come out who determined that the washer couldn't be fixed when I got the replacement amount offered it was far less than any washer I could find at Lowe's I didn't go all the people I could not except $343 for replacement value it's all right if y'all buy me a washer for whatever amount you can long did have some of the features that my wash your hair which are quite a few that I know that before but the amount you open is ridiculous I cannot find anything for that price and I paid for replacement value

We've had to put in roughly 6 work order requests in the past 5 months after we purchased a new home that had some issues. We have had to call in multiple times when our cooktop needed parts that were no longer available, due to COVID. We waited three months for a final decision was made on approving a cooktop replacement. This means we've been without a cooktop to cook normal meals on. The communication was horrible, we spoke with one representative out of 9 calls we put in regarding this issue.

Both of my A/C units went out during the hot sweltering heat of summer. I called CHW and was told "you're covered 100%! After many, many, many calls, I kept getting the "run around." We need this and that from your tech. Iwas told to use any A/C tech of my choosing due to the overwhelming need during the summer heat. My service was completed and I sought reimbursements. My tech sent in pictures, all documents, serial numbers to no avail. After more than 50 calls, I finally talked to a head manager and he said they do not cover A/C units unless it's at least 25 years old. He stated that was company policy. Infuriated would be an understatement to say how I felt about CHW! Mind you, my unit was 17 years old, parts were no longer available, nor being sold. The reason I purchased the CHW Warranty was the salesperson recommended it aggressively because of its age. When my 3y Protection Plan is up. I'm moving on. False advertising. I am thinking about suing after I read all the reviews/complaints similar to my experience from the plaintifs in California.

A couple of weeks ago I needed to use my warrranty when my sump pump went out as well as the water heater and I needed a replacement. They did say that the sump pump needed to be replaced and they did take care of that, but when they came to the water heater they denied that claim because of they said that the tank was not a replaceable item and it was not covered under the warranty. Even the gentleman from the company that came out to give estimates said that he had issues with Choice in the past with replacing those which I thought was crazy so we were out over a thousand dollars.

I'm not getting the response I think I need when I call. Then they don't cover things I think they should and I feel most the time that they come they say that it costs more than what I was originally told. I had to get a water heater replaced and when they replaced my water heater they said I had to have all these upgrades . So it cost me more than if I hired somebody else myself to put in a water heater. The vendors are good. I think it takes too long to get vendors out to your property.

My experience has been fairly positive.They seem to know how to resolve the problem or pass it on to someone who might be able to resolve the problem.There does not appear to be a uniformity of the technicians, I don't get the feeling that these people are pre-qualified. You really don't know who's coming through the door.
