They have an extremely long wait time, the website doesn't provide the answers one needs and they end up trying to call a live agent. My washer broke down they sent a company didn't fix it properly, and three other companies over a month and a half we're still trying to get it resolved so not very satisfactory. 2-10 customer service been responsive, but the subcontractors they've been using have not been very useful.

I have been provided poor service over the last several weeks after submitting service requests. The lack of communication when it comes to services and contractors also delayed my service requests. The service providers that were scheduled to come out were either late or did not provide 2-10 Home Buyers with the information needed to finalize my claim. I ended up paying another company to come out for my repair.

They're courteous and always helpful. Most recently I used it because my air conditioner wasn't working so I got online and put in the survey. It took at least over two months and I had to keep calling to get it taken care of. They weren't very responsive.

I have been with 2-10 for more than 10 years. Except for 1 or 2 cases, we can report an overall good experience with the level of service, and the quality of providers. Hoer 24 hours turnaround response can be tough when you have a broken heating system in the deep of winter. There should be priority for some types of critical breakdowns.

Recently, when I moved in last month, I found out that the water heater was turned off and when I tried to turn it back on, I was unsuccessful, so I filed a claim just to have somebody inspect it make sure that it was able to be turned back on or if it has to be replaced. They did send somebody over in a couple of days and he was able to get it on. But it was ultimately a very bad experience because apparently, the guy ended up turning it on at the lowest setting, giving me very lukewarm water results. They did not we make sure that the water is heated up correctly before payment and leave. It was easy to get in touch with Two Ten Home Buyers Warranty and they did get somebody over to turn on the water heater quickly at the end of the day when it when Two-Ten consider my claim to be completed they didn't fully complete the request. They sent a second specialist to look at the water heater afterwards because I was getting luke warm results, and he specified that the water heater needed to be replaced given that it is a seventeen almost eighteen year old unit but normally only lasts about fifteen years. Given that they recommended replacement but it was not covered and I'm still waiting to find out what to do about that. While filing everything online is definitely easy, when I called to inquire about the status of my claim and the status of completion I get the same answers over and over that didn't make sense to the situation, so ultimately the issue was not resolved. It was relatively easy to get in touch, you can file the claim do everything online but when dealing with a person over the phone it was very, very unnatural conversation they kept repeating the same questions and answer over and over without providing a proper explanation that made sense to the claim. It makes zero sense why any real estate agent would recommend that we get the warranty when you purchase the house, given that most homes are used and will have pre existing conditions (in the case of my water heater it is a seventeen year old unit) it is one hundred percent guaranteed to have pre existing conditions and if that's the reason why Two-Ten won't cover any replacement then I cant give them more than 2 stars because everything in a non-new construction home is preexisting

We've used it for appliances and other problems and we have used the interface with the computer and apply and fill that out for our problems and usually got a call from the service person. We've been pleased with the service we have received except for the very first time that we used it.

I used my home warranty because recently I had an issue with my toilet they got a contractor to me really quick. I had to have him come out again later for the same issue and I had to pay the $75 fee again. The service is pretty quick, they are pretty quick in turn around with contractors that came to perform the work.

It's quite inexpensive for what it covers, but the service isn't always as good as I'd like. My sink was leaky because it was not installed well. It lacked some support and so the pipes lost their connections. The contractor that came and helped replaced most all of those pipes indicating that they were also too short so the small change should not have caused the leaking but it did and he repaired that. Some of the things I reported have been handled quickly and others I had a hard time getting a response.

It was a part of the house when I bought it. I haven't had good experiences. My air conditioning unit went out and it took over three months to get it taken care of. It was pretty ridiculous. They need to have better communication. There was only one person that I spoke to who actually knew what was going on. Also there were times when I was on hold for an hour and a half. I am thankful my unit was replaced but I was upset it took so long. I swear I am paying more than I am supposed to.

Most of the time when I call in they will give me a person that is not even in the network. Nobody checked to see whether they're in our network and then they give me the information. I have that every time I call. Probably about a month ago I call about my air conditioning they gave me a person the other day and service the area then I had to call back the next day to start the process again. The service personnel that have been out are not good at they are mediocre.

I've had some bad experiences with 2-10 not contacting the right people that need to be contacted and not getting back to me. I've used it several times, the most recent was the ice maker went out my refrigerator and it took them three weeks before they finally got somebody out because 2-10 didn't do what they were supposed to do to reach the people that are supposed to come out. The people are supposed to come out wouldn't work with me they had to be contacted by 2-10. They don't have reliable contractors.

I only tried using it once and I had to find my own company to do the work because the company that they had was no longer working in my area. Therefore I was left to find someone on my own then after I did that it was hectic to try to download the information and to call someone and stay on the phone forever with music playing, it was very aggravating. And I had to pay them upfront myself. The only thing that will semi-positive was I've got the check within thirty days that's it. They were not easy to contact, I stayed on the phone for hours with that music playing.

2-10 warranty has been a good experience. The last time I used it was about in the last three weeks. I had a problem with air conditioning and really the service was terrific on that occasion. The person who came out, who fixed the air conditioning came out on Saturday and fixed my problem that same day so I was very happy on that occasion. I mean the last instance was a five but there have been times that has been not so great.

I haven't had any issues. They contact me back in time, no problem. I've been with them since 2005 and I haven't had any issues that they haven't fixed or replaced. The people that came out to fix it and they left and I called 2-10 because it still wasn't working. They had to come back and then everything worked fine.

I had an experience with one of my refrigderator repair that took weeks to finish which I found unacceptable. The issue was how the contract is setup between the dispatcher and 2-10, it's ship in the night communication that costed me a few weeks without a working fridge.

I think the warranty is a great thing to have and worth the cost. However, we often play "middle man" between 2-10 and the company doing the service. We've also been told something will be adjusted and fixed, where it wasn't and the contractor had to call and verify. There was also one incident with a customer service rep who put us on hold for 30 minutes, then said, "that's offensive" when my fiance and I were talking about miscommunication and then wouldn't talk to us after that and we had to hang up.

While they do a credible job with repairs of covered items, their policies and practices for replacement of items deemed beyond repair by their own assigned providers is quite disappointing and unsatisfactory. When my refrigerator/freezer failed and couldn't be repaired, I was subjected to delays in getting status of my claim as their online portal indicated it was closed following the dispatch of the repair technician. I finally arranged to get a member of their staff to follow my case. After several days of delay, they offered me a far less expensive "replacement" refrigerator that lacked key characteristics and features of the failed unit. It was clearly an effort to offer an inferior "substitute " item. When I balked at that and identified an acceptable model from a website they recommended to me, they finally agreed to offer me that one, but said it would be a delay of 6-7 weeks for delivery. That being wholly unacceptable for being without a refrigerator in our home, I reluctantly settled for a cash payout offer which ended up to be slightly more than half of the cost of a replacement I sourced locally.

They are very expensive. Despite being customers for so long, discounts are next to nothing. Also, when my AC got spoilt, I had to shell out thousands of dollars to get it fixed because 2-10 said that the policy did not cover it. The agreement and promises made by 2-10 are misleading and a lot goes out of the pocket if any appliance breaks. Not happy.

My fridge died and it took a month to get a check for no where near enough money to buy another fridge. The model they offered me didn't physically fit and they told us they weren't responsible to offer me a fridge that fit the dimensions like my old fridge. So thanks for taking 3 weeks to offer me a worthless replacement that was too big. Also thanks for giving me a check that was half the value of a fridge replacement. I even did research for 3 days and found a fridge that was the same price as the one they offered me but would actually fit and asked them if they'd just please send me that one. After speaking to the supervisor who tells me "they aren't going to give you another offer - take it or leave it", I was told there was no one else I could speak to and whoever the customer service rep was who told me they'd request another offer from the purchasers was just wrong. The website they claim you can use to get a discount was a joke. Nothing available and not the percent discount like they told me. What is the point of paying for a warranty when they clearly don't have to actually offer a comparable replacement. The fact that they seriously sent me a model that they knew wouldn't fit and told me too bad, not our problem, then forced me to take a check for half the cost of a replacement is a scam and honestly it's probably cheaper just to not pay almost $100 a month and just save that money and pay for a new one when it breaks. I do not recommend them. The customer service was so terrible and I can't not even believe the supervisor told me I was at the end of the line and couldn't speak to anyone else. In general it's hard to get through to you guys. When we do get somebody, they're always helpful but don't follow through. Recently, our water heater went out and had to be replaced and it was a long and slow process. We filed a complaint I think two weeks before there was any follow up. By that point, it was a real problem and then there was some difficulty getting that water heater approved because it was a forty gallon tank and there was only a fifty gallon tank available, so we spent about five days without hot water which isn't the end of the world but you know it wasn't comfortable. At that point, one of our children was sick so for them to have to take cool shower and stuff was not the best and all that could have been avoided if there was prompt service from our initial filing the complaint and a quick response from the repair guy so that was frustrating. We ended up getting a tank approved and installed but the whole process took probably about three weeks and ideally that would have been wrapped up in a few days.

At first we didn't care much for customer service but we have since changed our minds because we learned what we needed to do. Our hot water heater went out and it was resolved to our satisfaction. We have been mostly satisfied with all the people they have sent out. They have good service people.

Overall it has been really great. It is not perfect but it is pretty good. I would recommend them. It is convenient. Sometimes the people they sent don’t fix the problem but then they come back out and do fix it. Both times we had to use the warranty for the AC it was fixed.
