Awful. We have been without our air conditioner going on three weeks on in Austin Texas in JULY! Technician stood us up, told us he would come if I called choice warranty to give him more money, then Choice Warrenty ordered the wrong part because it was the “cheap” version...still have no air conditioner, super frustrated with company.

If you have an air conditioning unit they will do everything NOT to replace it. You need to read all the fine print, not like I did. There are all kinds of exclusions! I had to pay over $5000 for a replacement. Stay away from them!

This is the absolute worst company for a home warranty!! They deny air conditioning claims with ridiculous excuses. They make senior citizens wait weeks for a return call in the heat of the summer. Their practices are fraudulent! This company should not be allowed to operate in the US!!

I wish I could give 0 stars on this company. It took 2 weeks to get a technician out to look at my AC then Choice declined my claim without knowing the cause of my AC damage. I was advised I could pay to find out the cause and get back with them.

They have failed on every claim I have had and it takes 2-4 weeks at least to even get someone to show up to look at anything. HVAC coverage is totally useless if it leaks Freon it must be rust or corrosion which is excluded from coverage. Save your money, you will be way ahead.

From my pool filter, shower head in main bathroom not working, hot water heater makes a loud taping sound every time I turn on the hot water to other toilet plumbing issues. They almost never fix anything. I end up having to pay most contractors they send to fix the problem with money out of my own pocket since it’s not “covered,” plus the service fee, so I end up paying more. Now they want me to pay $2000 to replace my air conditioner. What are they covering if I’m spending $2000 out of my pocket?
