My last couple of experiences with choice home warranty have not been nice. I had a warranty service on my washing machine and it took them a whole month to find out if they would fix it and order the part and it is still not fixed so they gave me money to buy a new one but they only gave me three hundred twenty five dollars. I do not get quality service from them. I had another incident where my pump went out and they didn’t pay for the part.

I’ve used my warranty three times over the last four years. Each time it has been fine and successful. The difficult part is not being able to talk to a person once you put in your claim. Still it is very valuable.

I thought they would be a very good company based off of what I saw online but I did have a disappointing experience with them. They were unable to get a repairman for me. I had to get my own repairman and they said they would reimburse me but that never happened. Some people they have on their list for my area are not really highly qualified.

I've used Choice Home Warranty for years. They always come through when I need items fixed. I've gotten my compressor and air conditioner fixed, and they always come through with the money needed to pay for those repairs.

Their customer service team needs some improvement and organization. Once when I called customer service, they told me a service tech would come one day and then they had actually been scheduled for the next day. I wish their customer service was more precise.

7 years I was with American Home and Choice offered me a lower price for yearly premium as well as the claim fees but I have not received the proper customer support I should have gotten with them. The denied my clam when my AC was acting up. I got me attorney involved and they told him it was because my AC had a pre-existing condition, which was rust which makes no sense.

Seems like a good deal. There is always room for improvement over the phone. It is kind of hard to get through some of the menu options. They fixed the air conditioning and that is what it really is about.

They’re not reliable. I had a negative experience with them. I was denied and they gave excused about the fine prince I didn’t know would disqualify me from being approved. As soon as I can I will shop around for another company.

Choice Home was recommended by my broker when we bought the house. The only time I’ve had a significant issue, the technician replaced the coil of the air conditioner, though he wanted to replace the whole unit. So far it is working okay but I don’t know how long it will.

It is less expensive than other plans but the one time I tried to use my warranty it was frustrating. Nobody came to do my job. I feel like it is hard to get service. Also I was told I was fully covered for the AC and I still had to pay $900 dollars and they covered the rest.

Within the last month I had an issue with the water heater and the initial technician came out and diagnosed the problem but he never came back out to fix so we are still waiting for it to be taken care of. I am still waiting for another technician to contact me.

The agreement is that if they can’t repair an appliance, they replace it but that was not the case in my experience. Once it was determined by Choice that the oven could not be repaired, funds were offered far below what I could replace the appliance with.

Everything that needs repair that I paid for in warranty is not covered. The company fools you and makes you believe you are covered; then, when time comes to actually use it, they will deny the bigger claims. I had to pay extra money to cover the air conditioner and the heating system but they did not let me use the warranty on the AC when I needed it.

The first claim we made they sent the wrong type of repair person. When we called and they sent the plumber we had been told we wouldn't have to pay the fee again. That wasn't true. Then we were told we would receive a refund of the fee and, we never received it and no one seems to find record of the refund we were supposed to receive.

We opened a claim August 27th 2020 for A/C unit which had a broken Condenser. The claim was approved. CHW approved me for $1500 and the remaining balance out of pocket was $1220.00 The first company came out but refused to do the installation because the technician said he has no knowledge on how to install the A/C unit on the elevated base. The technician stormed off and wrote a false accusation. CHW then assigned Perry's Heating & Cooling which came out and quoted me double the price for the same repair. Now the difference out of pocket is $2200.00. This is unacceptable. My case manager left me with 2 options. The first option is to pay double cost out pocket to Perry's Heating Cooling or to just do it on my own entirely out of pocket.
