After contacting American Home Shield about our problem, they acted quickly and had a Plumbing Company contact us for an appointment immediately. We received prompt service from American Home Shield and their chosen Plumbing Company which completed the repair, replacement in a timely manner with no extra cost to us. We strongly recommend American Home Shield to other homeowners for piece of mind.

Most recently we had the disposal go out on us. Using the online request system, we were assigned a technician and then were able to get him scheduled within an hour. He came and resolved our issue within a short time after receiving approval for the replacement from AHS. While the technician was installing the disposal, he discovered another issue with our sink, which he was able to get approval to make those repairs as well.

AMS sent Jason from Crystal Clear Plumbing, St George, Utah, to replace my home's dying water heater. Jason was professional, pleasant, efficient, tidy, and had the old water heater out and a new top quality brand water heater in in no time. My realtor recommended American Home Shield when I purchased this home and I know now that he was referring a top tier home warranty company.

So I called up American Sheild because I had a problem with my AC,the company they use was excellent they came out the same day and fix it. I recently purchased a home in which part of the sale was American Home Shield for one year. There was a problem with the tankless water heater so I called AHS. The rep that answered my call was courteous and efficient. Within minutes after the call, I had an appt. with a technician from a local company to come and service the water heater. So far so good! I would prefer not to have to pay a $75 service fee as I think it should be part of the AHS complete warranty package.

I have been an AHS customer for more than 7 years. While the service has been good, I have really seen an improvement it the process to request service and the service provider delivering the service. I have used AHS 3-4 times this year, which is a little more than normal and the issue was resolved within a few days. Very happy with the quality of service I am getting from AHS.

I've had American Home Sheild for the last 11 years. Any issue I've had, I simply call or go online, report the issue, and within 24 hours, I'm notified by the technician the provide. AHS contacts me immediately after I contact them to set everything in place. Contractors come out, diagnosed problem, repaired if not replaced. I will continue to use this company as a home warranty. If you're a 1st home buyer, I recommend this to you. You'll never miss the monthly payment, pay the service fee, and all else is handled. Thank you AHS

When my washer went out I was excited and a bit nervous about using my homeshield coverage for the first time. Would it be as easy as advertised or would it be a big hassle? I needn't have worried. The online service was easy to use. The repair crew was polite and knowledgeable. They had me up and fixed in less than 48 hours. So glad I have the service.

I had to call AHS for a repair on our clothes washer and they were polite and eager to help. There were no hassles with getting someone to come out to fix the washer. The lady I talked to was eager to help and quickly responded. The company they called to help me sent a man who knew what he was doing who was also super nice. When the initial problem wasn't resolved (due to a more complicated problem that arose after the initial fix), AHS was, again, quick to respond with no extra cost.

I love the company because of their quick response to my issue, whether it's an emergency or minor. Provide us with contractor's that are thorough and professional. What I hope will change is the AHS rules on home items covered. For example: a garbage disposal is clogged or broken and can't be fixed. But because it is old or rusted it is not covered. That's disappointing...

Most experiences have been positive. This past service call has been a nightmare. We have now been over a week without a refrigerator. Service provider is completely incompetent and is now not returning calls. Provider says parts ordered, but then scheduled an appointment without ever talking with us "to do a second opinion since so many parts were ordered". If they are lacking that much confidence in their technician (totally plausible), then that warrants a call to us to discuss. Parts supposedly will be in on Monday (3 days from now) and they are supposed to be calling to set repair date. This will be the third time we have had to take time off work to repair one appliance. Not al all sure AHS will pay for the parts since they have the call labeled as "complete", but that is the contractor's problem, not mine. Time will tell.

We have had AHS for years and have used their services multiple times - for plumbers, electricians, A/C repairpeople, etc. The contractors/companies that they hire typically respond quickly, come to our place quickly, and solve the problem - or return again if they don't (or if the problem starts again). Also, the online service-request system is easy to use. We've always been happy with AHS and think it's well worth the monthly fee and the reasonable per-service charge.

Just before Christmas, our washing machine started making a horrible noise, so we contacted American Home Shield. They set up a service request in a timely manner. Once it was diagnosed that the washer would have to be replaced, they were very responsive and gave us several options for a replacement. Once we made a decision on the washer, they had it delivered and installed quickly. And this was during the holiday’s, so we were not expecting the speed at which it was handled. Very happy customers.

Our service tech arrived and assessed the problem, then replaced the faulty part of our clothes dryer. He was on time, did the job and was out of our home in a good amount of time. Unfortunately, something beyond his control was still causing a problem with the dryer and he came back to do more trouble shooting the next day and determined the problem, made temporary adjustments and advised how we could correct the problem (a clogged dryer vent). We are completely satisfied with the American Home Shield policy at this point.

Service is scheduled pretty easily; Providers they have are timely - i.e. they call you and schedule you and show up.... but the quality of work can be hit or miss - the pool repair folks are great but the refrigerator repair guy was awful!! He didn't know anything about repairing my frig and was taking cell phone pictures and then talking with someone to do repairs. He was very rough with my freezer drawers that had to come out so he could get to repair section. He just pulled it out and didn't remove the freezing martini glasses so he broke them, and they were in plane sight. However, you can tell American Home Shield to 'never' send that company to your house and they'll honor your request. That's a positive for their customer service.

We have used them several times and they have been responsive and very helpful in their dealings with me. There is only one company they work with that I will not use. The company United Air Temp. They came to our house when we were having trouble with our furnace and tried to make reasons to get a new furnace. We had another contractor come in who told us our furnace was okay and fixed it and it has been functioning fine for 5 years. Because of this I refuse to use United Air Temp again and I never will.

When a work order is requested, the follow up and contact with contractors is done in a timely manner and we’ve never had to call back and inquire about business assigned. This service was originally an optional add-on to my mortgage 9 years ago. The coverage and price sounded good, so I signed up. In those years, I have made at least 4 service requests, and all have been handled expeditiously and satisfactorily. When my mortgage company stopped offering the service, I signed up on my own immediately. This has been a company and service I have really been glad I got, and have recommended it to anyone who asks.

We have had AHS contract for over a year. This was the second time within the last two months we have had to use our warranty. AHS was great. They notified the contractor and we received a call within a few hours with the scheduled date and time they would be here. Both times, the contractor was here when he said he would be here. Both times, he fixed the issue within an hour. The contractor was very professional and knowledgeable. Purchasing the home warranty is the best thing we have ever done.

I am thoroughly pleased with my last service request. The technician was willing to work around MY schedule after work hours, which means I suffered no lose in income on top of the service fee. He came right on schedule day one; troubleshot the problems and ordered parts. 2 working days later he was back (After work hours THANK YOU!) and repaired both the washer and dryer. I have ran 15 loads through them since the service and they are back to "Like New" operation. Like I said 10/10 100% satisfied! GREAT JOB, THANK YOU!!!!

I did finally schedule an appt and agent came right on time and quickly assessed the wobbly fan issue, which fortunately was able to secure ceiling fan! Next he addressed issues with lights in kitchen ceiling and garage ceiling flourencent lights and changed the ballasts and was great in informing what he used as all updated now, plus what type and size bulbs to use the next time!

I have had two plumbing issues occur Since I have been a customer of American Home Shield. American Home Shield goes above and beyond. I pay the service fee under my plan of $100. And expert is immediately assigned to my problem. An appointment is made, and the problem is fixed. The plumbers they have come to my house a professional and helpful. Our heat stopped working, and the contractor sent by AHS identified the problem as the furnace fan motor having failed and got a replacement part delivered and installed in less than a week. While installing, he found that dirt and seal leaks of the fan would weaken the motor, and he cleaned and resealed at a reduced charge, since we were AHS customers (these items not covered by AHS). Better service than we have had in the past by the company that originally installed our furnace.

I love the fact that when I call to have my washer repaired,I was scheduled for someone to come out and repair the machine the same day.. I told the rep. the problem I was having with the machine,they ordered the parts, and when the parts were in,I was called and given a day and time when the tenacial would arrive. Had central air heating issue. Turned on heat in my upstairs unit and started smelling burning (and not the first use burning off dust). Called AHS and the representative assisted me in selecting correct issue (heating) and a repair company was assigned in a matter of minutes. Scheduled for the company to come out and within a 30 min window my issue was resolved (burned out blower motor).

This is a great insurance program that gives me peace of mind. Not worrying about things going wrong that cost money to take care of is well worth the cost of my policy. Since I started with AHS, I had two problems arise in my home. My experience with AHS has been one if great satisfaction. ALL service calls has been resolved timely, and the service technicians are very couteous. The customer service reps are also courteous and have answered all my questions professionally. The monthly service plan is very unaffordable. When I needed a replacement, i received my replacement in a timely manner. There were no long wait times between the service and installments.

Every time we have an appliance problem American Home Shield is empathic, responsive and they meet their commitments. Of course on a rare occasion, things don’t happen as expected such as getting parts in a timely manner. But even in these cases AHS works with the contractor to resolve the problem. We have been with AHS for at least 15 years and couldn’t imagine not having their support. We are customers for life.

I think the that her supervisor, Jeremy, and the company should know about the "over the top customer service" that she provides. I was very disappointed when my a/c unit stopped working. I thought I would really have to go deep into my pockets for the repair this time, but with American Home Shield I was covered with only a small deductible. The dishwasher went out shortly after I closed on my property. I called AHS and a technician was dispatched immediately. Once it was determined that the unit could not be fixed, AHS provided an option to have an eCard delivered to replace the dishwasher, which I accepted. I’ll pick out the new dishwasher tomorrow and have it installed. In a nutshell ... immediate response, evaluation, and prompt resolution as contracted. I can’t ask for any more than that! My gas furnace wasn't working. I logged a service request on the site around 10am. Got a call from the service tech about an hour later and he was at my house by 1pm the same day. Needed to order a part, that came in three days later. Was able to schedule the tech the next day to replace the part and he got my heater going again. Great server, great communication, and a very easy process

Things have vastly improved since the last time I had to call American Home Shield for service, thank goodness. That time it took days to get some one to come out, and weeks to get the part and repair my refrigerator, I was not happy. This time Plumber and Electrician were dispatched the same day that I called for service. Each repair person called promptly and arrived as promised. Repairs were made and items checked to make sure all was working before they left. I am very happy with the dispatch and service technicians responsiveness, much improved. Thank you!

American Home Shield's process for submitting a service request is both reliable and efficient. Communication and the response time were both very favorable. Although the initial appointment time was significantly exceeded, the company representative that performed the work was extremely professional and communicated with me throughout the day to ensure that I knew his status. Once on-site, he fixed the issue promptly and made sure I knew the cause of the problem. He also had some tips regarding future preventative maintenance.

All services have been promptly addressed by AHS. I can suggest that they not use contractors that do not have full time office reception as if they do not perform the services correctly it takes a very long time to get them to notify AHS that they were not able to fix a problem. This delays a followup service from a replacement service provider.

The mechanic came by for the 2nd time within 30 days. Magnetic tape around inside of the Refrigerator's dpor was not not workingto well. There was lots of condensation inside of refrigerator because seal was not holding. Repairman was very professional and knew his craft. But, my refrigerator is 40 years old! It should be replaced instead of continuing parch work.

From the moment we discovered we had an issue and i went to the AHS website, which was so easy to file a claim, we were given the name of the vendor that would come out to our home. The technician was very experienced, he knew exactly what to look for and how to fix the problem. He was in and out. Very efficient. It was a smooth process from start to finish.

Serviceman recommended by AHS came out to see why our wall oven was not working. Said he would have to contact AHS as the parts needed were no longer available. AHS notified us that they would replace the wall oven. They ordered one for us and the original serviceman came back out and did the switch out. My wife and I are very pleased with the new oven. The service from AHS was great.

They have been absolutely amazing! It's more of the Technician that makes AHS who they are today. As for the appointment scheduler, she could use some counseling as to how to treat the customers. She tends to be rude and does not explain what to expect when the Technician arrives. Just some attitude adjustment from her will make AHS an outstanding company.

Your on-line process for ordering a service call is very user-friendly and straight-forward Your selected agent, Mike’s Appliances, provided timely, responsive, and professional service. Ordering of needed replacement part was timely and arrangement of second visit to install it was quick and easy. Our problem with clothes drier was rectified in short order and to our complete satisfaction.

Our upstairs toilet was leaking, the first floor bathroom shower wouldn’t work while using the upstairs shower, and the kitchen sink faucet was leaking. Called AHS was able to get an appointment within a reasonable amount of time. Technician arrived diagnosed the problems, made repairs/replacements as needed and made recommendations on other repairs that couldn’t be addressed by AHS.

I have used American Home Shield for over than twenty years. I am completely satisfied. The service is economically priced and professionally administered. I have had only on occasion of disagreement. That was when I experienced a Septic Tank electrical problem that I felt should have been cover but was not covered. Over the years all other service requests were completed to my satisfaction.
