AHS has been good, but your contractor Runyon Appliance Repair is the WORST!! Did not fix refrigerator after 2 visits (we are on the 3rd today)! Came to look at microwave and broke a piece that has taken 2 weeks to get. Now says it can't be fixed and needs replacement. Please find other repair companies or we will not renew again!

AHS generally does what it says it will. However, communication can take weeks, and in one recent experience months. I am currently waiting for an authorized reimbursement. It has ben 3 weeks and I dont kno if they recieved my email with the needed reciept attatched. My fingers are crossed. When I call the wait times are often over 30 minutes. However, despite the delay and kavk of communication AHS has come through in the past so my fingers are crossed.

We had 2 service requests in the last few months since we started the service. The first request was fine, no issues. The second was requested on 9/28/2021 regarding our dryer. We had no contact from the contractor for a week. I tried calling them and the number always rings to a generic voicemail and the calls are never returned. I called AHS again and was told that they would change the contractor that day. It never has been changed. Finally I called yesterday and had AHS refund the service charge. I don't know what the problem is but this is not good for our second interaction with AHS. We were gifted a subscription that ends later this year an d we're already looking for alternatives.

Customer service response time could be a little quicker. There was some confusion about septic coverage from when I was a new member to a renewal member. I thought the coverage was also renewed but not the septic system. I don't believe I was informed that it was going to expire or else I would have paid for the add on to the policy.

The only reason I chose 4 stars versus 5 is the customer svc contact approach -it's an automated system and you have to select "sales" prompt just to get a human on the phone. Other than that, I highly recommend.

They respond fast and usually have a plan ready to resolve your issues. One time, there was a delay from one of the plumbers that held us all up for two weeks. They resolved the issue and were very professional after several calls.

only issue was nit having a plumber in our area and given a very long list of those we couldn't use, we didnt have time to call everyone to try and find someone who would drive to our location to give a quote and wait for authorization. we ended up paying out of pocket and fighting with AHS to get our deductible back. I have had two issues, one was resolved quickly. The second issue, with my range and range hood was reported over a week ago. The assigned vender was supposed to come out about five days aster reported. He gave me a six hour window, from noon to 6pm. They never showed up, never called, just allowed us to wait. Which one? It took months to get my oven unit. Then when I got it the thing didn't fit. AS said too bad. We got you a new one but we don't need to install it if it is the wrong size. They left it on my porch and I had to hire someone to install it extre $800.00. The electrician they sent to fix an electrical problem left and said they had no access to the breaker box because there were clothes in my closet. I had to call AS and ask why he didn't fix any thing? If you call them prepare for at least an hour wait on hold every time.

I have a microwave which needed repair. AHS was quick to send out a tech. The tech made the repair and the unit seemed to work fine. Then, 3-4 weeks later we encountered the same issues and called for a repair. I was charged an additional service to repair the same issue. The tech came out and replaced the part and the unit seemed to work fine. Two days later we called again for the same issue. The tech came out and installed the part but after testing the microwave found that it was still not working properly; i.e., this was a recurring issue. A new "higher quality" part was ordered. After 10 days the part arrived and was installed. However, after installing the "higher quality" part and testing the unit, the microwave continued with the exact same issue. AHS decided a complete new wiring harness should be ordered. The wire harness replacement idea was soon scratched and new unit was ordered. Unfortunately, it took AHS over six weeks of me not having a microwave, and multiple calls to AHS before the microwave was approved for replacement. I'm giving two stars for no other reason than it took 6+ weeks without a microwave before the replacement was approved, plus the fact that all communication regarding this issue was being driven by me (I NEVER one time received a call regarding the status of the repair), multiple rearranging of schedules in order for either my wife or I to be available for the tech, plus the fact this problem, overall, took a total of 10 weeks to finally resolve. Yes, they did finally agree to replace the microwave, but that's because they are contractually obligated to do so after so many attempts to fix the machine; so they get no stars for doing something they're contractually obligated to do. I don't give extra stars because I paid someone to change the oil in my car; it's what they're obligated to do. Finally, had the service company not told AHS the microwave was a fire hazard, in my opinion there's a 99% chance I would still not have a functional microwave AND we would be continuing down the road of exploratory repairs. For the record, the microwave was ordered today and I am still with a microwave. If history is any indication of how this will go, I expect to be without a microwave for another 2-3 weeks.

It’s a good product for the most part. In recent years, after moving to Altamonte Springs, I have had a couple of issues with two of the vendors they sent to fix (1) plumbing- leaking faucet and (2) dryer repair. I was less than satisfied with the end result. The dryer repair was a nightmare that lasted over three months and required calls to the customer service offices at AHS headquarters.

My experience wasn't the best one. The plumber they sent over try to swindle me into an insurance claim, and told me that he was going to change my faucet but never did. So far it is poor to fair. Plumbing is suppose to covered however I was still charged for a strainer part for $75. Also initially they were going to charge me $75 to open the dry wall to access the pipe and $150 to close it up. Then I called AHS they said I have to pay for the strainer since that wasn't covered with my plumbing warranty. I feel that isn't fair and it seems like that should of been covered since it is all related to the plumbing. This was call was related to a leak in my bathtub. Currently, it was been two weeks waiting for them to close up the dry wall. I made 4 phone calls to get that appointment scheduled.

The initial home visit is fast but then there are hoops to jump through after paying a $100. Service fee.Not sure when our HVAC will be repaired, replaced, …. Have to wait on them to let us know. These terms are difficult for folks that work daily. You want to be home when they arrive to do their assessments.
