Contractor quality varies wildly. Some contractors know what they're doing, show up quickly, and fix things right away. Other take weeks to show up, are total idiots, and don't fix things requiring many, many repeat visits.

I have the top coverage that states garage disposal is covered but I didn't realize they do not replace product with something same or equal brand to you already have in your home. I had to purchase product myself to be satisfied. So right now I am contemplating whether to keep the plan or not

I would not recommend Home Shield. We have had an ongoing problem with a refrigerator. The contractors they employ are substandard, it takes too long to get service, and we are left hanging for months with products that do not work.
