We've been working on the same issue since September 2020, should have been solved long ago. American Home Shield will not communicate well with us. We needed to contact BBB to get help. We have had AHS for 21 years, we were happy with service, until this issue.

Have had this service for 3.5yrs never used once. Then had a claim to replace T&P valve to include extender tank and was denied the service due to the builder putting the extender tank in the wrong place I.e to far away from the valve. Horrible experience and a waste of money!!!!

Terrible, the contractor they assigned did not do the work. They kept my co-pay when I canceled the policy even though I didn't get the work done. They wouldn't reassign my case after 3 weeks of begging them to get a different contractor

I called almost 2 weeks ago about the monthly increase that I am being billed. The person that I spoke with said that she would look into getting it lowered and get back to me within a few days via email. I have not heard anything. I am disappointed at the extreme increase and now the follow up not received!!

Had to replace a water heater. I was never provided with cost for different options AHS picked the cheapest option. When I ask for the payout amount I was told I had to speak to a different department that never returned my call. I kept having to call to check on status and there was a long delay. I was also charged $1k out of pocket

Because your service is so slow and I efficient, we were without water for ELEVEN (11) days. We went to a hotel in our city to get showers! You are the warranty company! People need service. That's what we pay for, and there are people who are waiting even longer than we did. No heat in the winter with babies?! Completely unacceptable.

I am currently trying to get the heating and air conditioning company they referred to fix my heater to come back for the third time and actually fix it. They come and "troubleshoot" the system and say it is fixed, yet it continues to fail. It has been over three weeks and they still have not completed the service.

The last report to fix a refrigerator has taken over a month. I can't call the company because there is no one that answers. All business are done on line. They rescheduled the visit so many times. Worst company in my personal experience. The lack of customer service.
