I have submitted structural claim with 2-10 Home buyers warranty team . It has been more than 3 months but yet to get the update that whether they will be able to fix the issue or not. I have been chasing them by sending mails every week. But getting same response that their engineering team is taking longer time to complete the calculations. This is really frustrating for keeping the claim for more than 3 months without any proper answers to consumer.

2-10 sent 3 refrigerator technician to my house diagnosed my refrigerator and both contractors didn’t repair and now iM on number 4. And still no appointment for repair however asking for freon funds. Unacceptable and i informed customer service we medication that needs to be the refrigerator. All customer service can say I’m sorry and by the Technician visit the house on Tuesday and a response from customer service on Friday..Can call for freon funds payment but NO repair date.

BUYER BEWARE - read the fine print. 2-10 has been the most difficult home warranty company to work with. You will sit on hold waiting for a representative for over 30 minutes. What you think they cover and what they do are two different things. The difference in what they will pay for labor and what someone will do it for is usually 5X less. What the repair company quotes for parts and what 2-10 will pay is massively different as well. The buyout offers always carry a nuance that favors 2-10. NOT Customer Oriented. Go with a different company.

The coverage is non existent. Claims service takes days to respond to incidents and then has the user go to a 3rd party that doesn't qualify for the full amount of services. Example was the hvac top tier support. Billed 2k in services 210 only paid 275.00 a percentage of services. Read what is covered vs what they actually will pay out. Terrible coverage. Fidelity home warranty is a much better service for claims.

The worst! Hard to get in contact with. The contractors book you out 4-5 days just to diagnose and then another week or two to do the job and that is if they don’t cancel on you the day they suppose to come. Then try and use an out of network company and you need to get it approved from them first. Worst experience. Been paying them for 3 years and the first claim is a run around. Look elsewhere. Thank me later.

If this is how they treat someone who has spent over $5000, imagine how they will treat you year one. I also have the supreme coverage, so I pay the extra premium. Do not use 2-10 my water heater broke over 2 weeks ago. They called out 1 plumber to get a bid. The bid was too high and they refused to approved it. They *never* reached out to me to give updates on this process. I have to call them every day during my lunch break to check for updates and still nothing!!! It's been +2 weeks no hot water and my house smells like mold. It's pulling teeth getting them to fix it! This is for any problem.

210 Warranty has the worst service I never seen. We have had this service for 19 years and the service is horrible. They have to come out every single year to fix the air conditioner unit. They will not replace the unit. It's always hard for them to find contractors because they're not giving quality service. We have to pay the 75 deductible every time even if they have already came out within a few months. I'm hoping soon to find another warranty company because this is unsatisfactory.

Worst company ever. I been having issues since June 8th with my Air conditioning unit. They took so long to fix my Air Conditioning Unit I had to hire someone else. I was suppose to be reimbursed and I had so many issues with them sending the reimbursement check to the wrong address, adding names to my check that's not on my account etc... Also hiring a company to fix my ac unit that has a 2 for there rating. Just tired of calling and be on hold for 45+ mins

This company needs to have their customer service Training. For example: we have been lied to, we have been without for 7 weeks without our washer because they do not keep up with their contractors, now that they will order parts because we are over our limit they will only offer 1/3 of the cost of a new unit. This unit is only 3 years old. When we ask to talk to a supervisor it does not happen, because there customer care people do not want to lose thierd job.

I reported my Ac and refrigerator going out on July 1st. It’s is now July 23rd and neither have been fixed and I don’t even have an estimated date on when they will be able to fix it. They are waiting on parts to be delivered. Mind you it is July in Georgia. I’ve called numerous times and they claim if I get my own servicer, it will be out of network and they will pay me only $300 POSSIBLY.

This is by far the worst company I’ve encountered. I made an initial request in June and have yet to have my issues resolved, after having 4 different contractors assigned, 2 of which were no calls and no shows. Now that I am on the phone again, I was just told that one of the vendors shared that they completed the work, also untrue. They can never transfer me to a manager or someone in leadership. I am hopeful the Better Business Bureau can assist me, because horrible customer service, lack of communication, and contractors who don’t tell the truth is excessive.

Two of A Kind

I've only been with this company for 3 months and have had horrible experiences the both times I had to call in claims. They send out contractors multiple times and don't fix anything. I ended up having to pay a company out of pocket to fix my electrical issue. The lady that I spoke to was very rude. With the second claim I've been waiting for awhile for parts to fix the AC in my house they are saying it will be there on Friday but then they have to send the parts to the company that's actually going to fix it. Which is going to take even long and sitting in heat with children is not ideal.

They don’t even 1 star!! "Do not work with them! 2-10 Warranty Company is the most horrible one I have ever seen. They never answer you; even if they do, they don’t resolve your problem. The only thing they do is say they are sorry and give you another department's number. My refrigerator is not working, and I requested service almost three months ago. The technician they sent made it even worse. Right now, I am unable to use the refrigerator. I am going to stop working with them and let everyone know how poor their service is. It's a waste of time and money to work with them.

If I could leave a 0 I would. First bad experience someone came who said he was from the company and he wasn’t. Scammed us out of 89$. Second time we waited over a month for a new water heater. Again we’ve had cold water for a month and the contractor who was assigned didn’t come to do the job and left us still without hot water. Extremely poor communication with this company. Save yourself money and go with someone else. You’ll appreciate it in the end

BUT they saved me in the end, as the cost for the claim exposed who they really are and how they operate. They are too dumb to realize they would have made more money off of me staying a customer and paying them then the claim was for. These things are SCAMS and these guys are the worst. PLEASE CONSIDER another option and read the small print.

One star because you cannot leave less than that. Complete Rip Off. No customer service whatsoever. Open orders on August 4th- 4 MONTHS and they cannot get the parts. They offered refunds for the two orders they never completed and today I'm told there is no refunds issued. Parts won't come in until December. It's all BS. I can get arts overnight if I want to, but they don't want to. Worse customer service and worse company to deal with. They are very prompt to collect every month but won't give a F# about their customers.

I am genuinely torn as to whether 2-10 is just a really bad home warranty company or whether all home warranty is a scam. 2-10 only seems to contract with extremely slow, unmotivated, or overworked service providers and 2-10 customer service is, for all purposes, nonexistent. You have to call and hound the service providers and 2-10 customer service relentlessly in order for anything to get done at all. Best case scenario is that you might get an issue resolved months after requesting help.

All homeowners be warned. I attempted to make a claim on the day of my renewal and was told that due to a glitch in the system the portal wasn't working and I couldn't place a claim. Also, the representatives either would not or could not either. They were bound by what the portal was doing. I was re-routed back and forth four times and each time had to re-explain all my initial information and the reason for my emergency. They never contacted me and it's been 2 weeks. I am still trying to resolve this issue.

The Customer Service Representatives have all been very helpful, but it is very apparent to me that the workings of the company are opaque even to the people who work there. I have been taking time out of work and family for three weeks trying to get my heating replaced, and it seems that the higher decision-makers are taking every opportunity to keep from having to do the job. In terms of time and transparency, the unprofessionalism is staggering. Temperatures are falling below freezing every night and there is no end in sight.

I have been using and selling this company for years to my clients. They have completely dropped the ball on my plan. I was sold a repair or replace package. My water heater goes out and they will only give $1200 TOTAL as a cash out and will not do the work. It will cost $2500. Keyon the claims manager DID NOTHING. Do not use this company, they are a rip off!! I will remove them from all 4 of my properties and will never sell their policies again.

Run, don't walk from HBW. When you call them you will be on hold for at least 50 minutes each time. If you use your own contractor for repairs, you will have your reimbursement severely reduced. Furthermore, they will find ways to rip you off that are not in the contract documents and nobody you speak with will be able to explain it. Everyone you do speak with will have a different answer and attitude. I will never use them again after this horrible experience and I recommend you don't either.
