Takes forever to get a representative on the phone and their online tool is garbage and confusing to use. Once you have a technician scheduled they close the ticket at resolved even when there's still an issue. They allow bids from companies too far away when local companies would be more convenient - further delaying resolution to your issue.

They are impossible to get on the phone, and have the website set up where you cant contact them by email. They also have a system set up where you get charged for parts without being given an invoice so you cannot file for reimbursement.

Horrible. They don't cover anything. My entire HVAC system went down and they said it wasn't covered because it was "pre-existing". Well, it passed the initial home Inspection and I didn't know about it. Plus, pre-existing is the whole reason for a home warranty. Lol, terrible.

Yep recently my hot water heater went out and it took me four weeks to get one hot water heater. They have bad customer service. I will be leaving the company. They're not on top of their stuff, they don't call back, they don't follow up with their clients' wishes or service agreement. Not happy with them at all.

Most recently we had a refrigerator issue we hit those to open the claim someone came out we thought it was fixed couple days later it did the same thing same person came back out. If you fixed it we are again with out a refrigerator and this is been going on now for over a month. This is not pleasant.

Extremely disappointed in the quality control of this company. I have been having hellacious issues with contractors. For example one time I had a problem with the HVAC and he told me that 2-10 didn’t cover it and I would have to pay out of pocket do some ductwork and I found out the job was approved and he just was dishonest.

In general it is very difficult to get a hold of somebody and when you do get a hold of them, they are not very helpful. Every time we’ve needed the warranty, they have tried to get out of paying. It is quite a hassle.

Nobody knows what the other person's doing, nobody has the answers, they transfer you all around to different departments, and no one takes accountability. I don’t feel like 2-10 home warranty cares about its customers. They’re only looking to save money. Our air conditioner went out on July fifth and they didn’t repair it until November 11th and then the installed did it incorrectly. We’re still fighting with them.

We had an awful experience with Ruffin Robinson LLC. After a washer repair, our ceiling flooded the very next day. When we called for help, the technician responded with extreme disrespect — accusing us of having a "Black attitude," saying he was "from the hood," telling us to "shut up," and refusing to come back to fix his work. We had to hire a water restoration company ourselves. They had to tear up carpet, remove padding, tile, and baseboards. We were forced to stay in 95-degree heat for a week with no option to stay elsewhere, leading to stress, sleep deprivation, and financial hardship. Clearly, 2-10 Home Warranty doesn’t care about the value of their customers because their mission statement and core values are not reflected in the people they hire to represent them as a company. This experience showed zero professionalism or care and violated every value a homeowner should expect. We are left with damage and ongoing costs, and my family felt unsafe in our own home.

I’m clicking one star because no stars is not an option. Absolutely the worst decision we have made is using 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty. This past winter we noticed our electric bill was way too high. We contacted 2-10 HBW to get someone out to look at our heater. The company (selected by 2-10 HBW) had no website we could review. The selected HVAC repair came out, claimed he had fixed the problem. Long story short 2-10 HBW selected HVAC repair men came out at least 6 times and never fixed the problem, we ended up coming out of pocket for a new HVAC system. A few weeks later we had a water leak in our pipes in the back yard. We had to shut off our water, so we had no water. When we requested a plumber through 2-10 HBW website we got no response for several days, so we called them. They stated that they could not find one of “their plumbers in the area who had availability “ but that I could reach out to an outside contractor and send 2-10 the invoice. Of a plumbers bill for $482.00, 2-10 HBW only paid $100.00. We have had nothing but problems with 2-10 HBW and the so called techs they send to our house. So far we have come out of pocket over $11,000.00. We pay around $90.00 a month and have for more than a year and we end up coming out of pocket 75-100% on all repairs. Good advice, what ever you would pay 2-10 put in savings and pay for repairs yourself. Your going to anyway.
