When everything is working well I get to see on my phone what's going on at my house. The alarm works nicely. They help me right away when I call. I've had a problem a couple of times with not being able to get stuff to lock or work right.

Initially it was great! However, we've experienced several issues over the past year or so. We called tech support and they tried walking us through it. It was difficult to take panel apart, difficult to change batteries, and in the end we still have issues. So it did not help with every issue. Would much rather have technician come out.

Everything is good. I've recommended it to a couple of other family members. I like the good deal and once everything was all hooked up, it worked properly and I've had no problems with it. It gives me peace of mind to be able to see who's at the door. When I've called, they help or send a tech to take care of it.

When we first got them they were great would come to our house for any problems (with premium package) now they want you to handle battery changing or they work with you over the phone to solve problems. They are more expensive than other company's. Their protection is very good. The panel is good and easy to navigate. .

Support chat functionality is very irritating. Although this function has the potential to be very helpful, the support staff is not knowledgeable and routinely obviously reads from scripts and does not use basic problem solving techniques to fix an issue. The fact that you speak with a support tech and ten minutes into it, they "go on break" and you get switched to another support tech is a HORRIBLE service to your customers. There should be tiers to service agreements to greater be of assistance to those customers (like myself) that employ all your products. Since I am paying vivint so much more than 80% of your clientele, the level of service I receive should exceed those other customers. I would even be willing to pay MORE in order to have more highly qualified support access. The technicians that come out to the home are far more qualified to handle the issues that I've been having, and the fact that I have to pay (a la carte) each time they speak to an issue of mine is outrageous.

Could be better customer service and technical field charges should be included in with the service at no extra charge. Also most customers are older and shouldnt be asked to climb ladders or to electrical checks in breaker box because it's putting them at risk for injury.

The system is fantastic. I have 3 cameras and I get to view the outside of my house everyday. If someone rings the doorbell it rings on my phone. I really like that. We had a problem with scheduling. A representative contacted me and said they couldn't do the installation at the scheduled time. They said if I could wait they'd give me $500 off the equipment. I stayed in Minnesota a little bit longer because they had to reschedule. So I'm not satisfied with that and they didn't back up their word.

I was disappointed with the quality of the equipment. I don't think it was put in right at first. I've been having a lot of problems but they have someone to send out 24/7 and take care of you. They are prompt in servicing their equipment. When they see the alarm come on they call you and they want to know why. They want you to be safe.

I like the electronic locks. I can just press in a code and don't have to use a key. I've had a couple of questions and they were able to answer them and get things straight in a reasonable amount of time. The sound on the doorbell needs to be louder. If I'm upstairs I can't hear it.

Every time I call I get results very fast. They should improve their camera. Twice I've parked in front of my house and somebody hit my car. That happened at night and the image wasn't clear at all.

I like that I can lock my doors from my phone. I like the smoke detectors and the motion detectors. I've called them for the thermostat. Most of the time I call they help me figure it out but sometimes it takes a while. It's easy to maintain or change a battery.

I had ADT for twenty years and their software doesn't work, Vivint works good. It's efficient. They promised me a hundred dollar rebate and we finally got it but it took ninety days, t shouldn't have been that way.

I had vivint install their system because a salesman came through the neighborhood. I had the system about 11 months and then I decided to cancel. I was told by Vivint that I had signed a 5 year contract, which turned out to be false. My signature had been forged and they told me that they would give me a full refund for the 11 months. They gave me the run around for months and the finally sent me $135.00. The total should have been over $900.00 dollars. They sent me two checks for $348.00 but they put a stop payment on both of them. I will have to take them to court to get the balance of the money that is owed to me.borhood

I am able to control my alarm panel with my app on my phone. They need to upgrade their panel so that it integrates with all the offerings that they have; the home system the security and automation i.e. thermostats the light and the like. It's very inconsistent in its function. Customer service is very kind and well-intentioned but they have very little knowledge. When I've had issues that come out and fix them.

Having the video camera and the warning for any potential incident like a fire is the best feature. They speak professionally and are nice on the phone. The camera only has not even 90 degrees coverage. I think the camera needs to cover a much broader angle than it currently does.
