My wife and I like to travel and it's nice to have access to the system on my phone. Sometimes there's a little bit of a delay with the app. We have the doorbell camera and we're supposed to be able to answer the doorbell and sometimes by the time it loads the person is already gone. The only thing I've ever had a problem with is biling. We signed a contract and I'm paying a little bit more than what the contract says.

Sometimes it takes me more than one person to get the straight answer but I like their system. They do call you when something comes up. I like the app for my phone and most of the equipment. I think I should get the updated version for free when they come out with new equipment.

I like the security. I like owning my own equipment eventually. I like the doorbell camera and being able to watch things over my phone. Customer service is able to resolve my problem ever time I call.

I was looking for a good system that works right and it is great and works wonderfully with a wonderful price. It's top technology, some of the best out there. I can check my house from anywhere in the world that I have a phone service. They don't have any representatives in the remote area so I do have to track them down.

We were very happy with the offer for the price. It's easy to get some on the line very fast but they have a lot of issues with their equipment not lasting too long. They could maybe be a little more lenient with the loyal customers.

The equipment is very good and when I had a slight problem, they were right on it and I appreciate that. Customer support knows what they are talking about and when I call, I get prompt, good service. The company I had before was not as good as Vivint.

Lasts a long time without any issues with the security equipment. Easy to use too. The only feedback I have is they should offer some incentives to current and existing customers, like cheaper upgrades. Their support is always available and the response time is good.

its ok, but i am not happy that my garage door sensor started setting off an alarm and i called and was walked thru trying to reset it, which did not work. I was told that if a tech came out i would have to pay, because they dont cover house calls basically. and if that one was bad i had to pay for a new one. so for almost 2 years now i have been paying for this and not all is functional. I have called several times and still same thing. What do I do?? I'm stuck in a contract, and its not fair.

Good for the most part. Only bad experience was when the local police department changed their dispatch phone number and Vivint was not able to get ahold of them. We had to call the police ourselves while we were 10 hours away.

I had a few problems with ADT so I switched and I've had no time with Vivint. The house is protected and if there is ever an issue, they've been great and take care of it quickly. I've never had a problem other than changing the battery. I am happy with the overall service.

Works most of the time. Sometimes the equipment is spotty. Install was less than stellar. Not well explained and due to a large house I have a bunch of range extenders and I'm constantly having issues. Once the install is done, good luck getting them back.

The response is a lot quicker than systems we've had in the past. It's basically immediate. They get back to you pretty quick. Bad thing about it is they are not locally based so they have to call a service rep to show up.

I had ADT and another company before Vivint and I was still getting broken into. I feel safe they are really on top of it, but when you call to report that you've accidentally tripped it, by the time you finally get somebody on the line the cops are at the front door. I don't like that.

I like having the panel so I can see who's at the front door. I've just been really disappointed with their customer service. I've had a lot of trouble when I've called in and tried to get help. Now I'm being told our equipment is obsolete after this year and I have to upgrade. I was quoted a thousand dollars that I'm going to have to spend. I'm not real happy and looking for another company now.

The customer service was great. Everyone was friendly and there wasn't a long wait time, they were quick to respond. We had a few issues with a few of our cameras and I had to call several times but I liked being able to look at the cameras on my mobile devices.

Nobody's perfect, but they've always been responsive and very helpful. I haven't had problems for the most part. I've had to get the smoke detector changed out because it was faulty and another time when there was something wrong with the front door.

They've always been pretty good. I've never had any prior issue with customer service. Everything I good quality. The only thing Vivint needs to do is replace the battery and some of the sensors. It's just very reliable. I don't really think about it. I just turn it on.

They answer all of my questions. When I call in the are able to resolve my issues. They are pleasant and professional. I've had issues with my smoke detectors even though I change the batteries but that's it. I've installed cameras and door monitoring and all those things make it a big plus for me.

Everytime I have an issue, Vivint wants to charge me to come out and fix it and I'm on the phone with them for no less than 2 hours every time I have to call them. It totally relies on wireless capabilities which are constantly going down. My system has been down for over a year without any success in getting that corrected. They need better wireless capabilities for their systems that are more reliable.

We like having vivint but sometimes when the alarm goes off it's a process in order to cancel the false alarm. If something isn't working properly we have to pay to replace it. They call us directly if the alarm is sounding to make sure everything is ok.

We have mixed feelings. Smoke alarm so sensitive it goes off cooking dinner. Locks sometimes won't unlock, doorbell camera won't record. Batteries have to be replaced frequently. If we were to do this again we'd probably go with another service provider

It's okay. Main problem is when your techs try and have customers fix their wall panel and do not know what THEY are doing so a technician has to come out and fix the mess YOUR employee has the customer do. We pay for a service and customers are not tech people, stop trying to have customers fix technical issues that need an on site employee.

Pretty good. A little higher than some others. Service has been real good with several issues. The one thing I get upset about is the very slow response time to use the video when someone rings the doorbell. By the time I get the video to load the person at the door is gone

doorbell goes offline, sometimes I can get it to reboot but have also had to call the company for assistance, The panel goes off line as well, same scenario as doorbell. I have high speed internet. I am constantly changing batteries on the door entry. To be honest, I have checked into other options that are more cost effecent with basicly the same coverage.

Overall, my experience has been pretty good. I was a little disappointed when the terms of my agreement was suppose to be only for two years and it ended up being three years because I was miss quoted. Also, sometimes I'm off line and don't know it unless I make a call. We should be notified the moment our system goes down for what ever reason. But being a single woman I feel secure knowing I have a Vivint system.
