The camera hasn't been working, and it doesn't record video unless there is a possible break in, and it doesn't zoom. Not worth the money at all.

Very poor experiance. We are charged monthly without protection because they have horrible service. They want to charge an outragious amount for somone to come out and look at it and the network continues to fail. Unfortunately we are locked in a contract so we will have to wait until it ends to use a company that actually works. Do NOT recommend. Do not sign a contract with them. They do not care about the customer or loyalty.

Guardian was good while the service worked but their response time to fix anything is horrendous. Buyer Beware: you sign an unbelievable 5 YEAR CONTRACT with each upgrade! We added a thermostat and unknowingly got roped into another 5 years. Best advice: read everything

I am sorry for any frustration. Customer satisfaction is important to us and we work hard to serve all of our customers in a timely manner, though it can be more difficult to coordinate service for a customer’s secondary residence. It appears your contract was signed in June 2019 for a term of 60 months in exchange for a discount on the base security package.

The addendums for adding the home automation devices – first the door lock, then the thermostat, did not extend your contract term. The monthly charge for remote access and control of the home automation devices was waived.

We always give our customers a chance to read the terms before entering into a contract or addendum. If we can be of further service, please contact us at .

Guardian has been an absolute headache to deal with. Their equipment continues to malfunction because their system doesn't update correctly and we are charged each time they have to fix the error which is on their end. Also it's delayed so I get notified anywhere from 10-30 minutes if even at all that someone has walked on our property or is at our door. Do not recommend at all

Gaurdian used a 3rd party to sell me the system. I was told that my system would go to the seller when I came in. I ended up paying a large fee for nothing that I am recieving. I feel like they need to be more upfront. Have a system in place for new owners to assume the contract so they are not taken advantage of and sold a new system. I also was not told about my cities permitting charge.

Extremely poor customer service. Company does not reveal hidden costs & will blame customer for everything including when they don’t have appropriate personnel that clearly is a company issue. Filed a complaint and received call from a resolution tech- again, blamed customer and refused to take any responsibility for their problems. Would NEVER do business not recommend them to anyone. Everything is fine, until the customer needs something. Buyer BEWARE!!

The sales guy was explaining the system including the door bell camera in his sales pitch ended not putting it on the contract and now I am basically paying 40 dollars a month to have a panel on the wall tell me if the door is open and have someone call me to tell me my door is open. Very unhappy with the system that was installed just 2 days ago. And when I told them I want to cancel the service they said it would be a 750 dollar charge for termination.

Built new home.. was offered guardian home security service which I refused. They wired for the service anyway... I am semi-ok about that but they left 4 wires 5 feet long hanging down the side of the house and refuse to cover... they just dangle there leaving a hole into my home. They refuse to address. I bought this home.. and I refused the service.. why do we have to have 4 large white cords (siding is brown) dangle from our home? And a hole in my siding letting in moisture?

I have been a customer for 12 years. Every 3 years we get a new plan and usually 3 added censors. The monthly fee keeps going higher and now realize I have been paying more than anyone after I started reviewing other companies. I called to extend another 36 and inquired about customer loyalty rates and they laughed! So done getting ripped off! There technical service teams have been out about 7 times before finally fixing the issue in the last 36 months! Stay away from Guardian!!

Absolutely horrible customer service, we no longer have them because of a move to a new house yet we have been paying for over 1.5 years still for the old house. They also want to charge us another $450 to cancel that service still. We were lied to when we moved from Pittsburgh that our contract would not be extended which is was 5 more years when one of their employees forged a digital signature for an installation. Do not trust this company to keep you safe or take care of you, only there for the money.

When moving you do have the option to move the services or have the new home owner take over the remaining agreement. A lot can happen in five years! You move, you get to pay a huge (thousands!) termination fee or you pick up a new five-year contract. The service itself is great, but I don't want to keep myself under anyone's thumb for five years. In 22 more months, I will be canceling this scam of a company and going with a competitor that doesn't charge exorbitant fees and has zero contracts.

Contracts are confusing and punitive. The service is expensive and not available in all areas so if you have to move and they don't have service in that area, your only option is to pay a very expensive cancellation fee. Dont worry the consolation prize is usually a snarky condescending "customer loyalty rep named Alida" reminding you of the contract that you signed.
