The cameras either lose connection or become disabled. Have to restart the entire panel in most cases to get them working again. The door lock does not always completely lock causing a failure to lock.

the install was supposed to be free with a free camera and equipment because I already had better equipment than vivint provides. I canceled my services after a month or two of trying to get their $300 gift card. It's been several months and I still havent received the card. Even though Ive canceled my services they still send me a bill every month. They send 18yr old recruits out to promise great things and then don't deliver on their promises. The equipment and monitoring seems 3, but the most important thing, customer service and doing what they say they'll do, sucks.

Doesn’t work more than it does. We’ve had cameras that aren’t showing live feed multiple times. It was completely overpriced hardware. I should have done more research and payed attention when sales/ install guy wouldn’t show me itemized price list of all our equipment.

I hate when you call that you have to wait an hour or more to talk to a human. I hate that when you have a problem that it takes forever to get a tech to come fix it. And I hate that when you say that you don't want Vivint anymore that they treat you like crap and take forever to come get the equipment. once you sign up, later they dont call to ask feedback about how the service is going, i tried contacting the person who helped me signed up to fix the issues, found out the the sales team and there service teams are different. Its been 6 months, and the outdoor cameras and garage openers are both messed up. not happy with their service.

Tried to call the sale person and never return my calls. They installed the window break in my case opening and u don't do that, I was to the point I was about to tell them to come get this crap!!! And the power cord to the camera just ran across the floor and it's where we store stuff in Attic. The sensor in front door and back door comes out when the door opens, no installation was worthless and I want a refund on some of my money.

I cannot get their support personnel to resolve an internet problem. They even tell me Apple Safari may be a problem and to use Chrome. When that doesn't work, a man told me they are repairing their software and it will work in 24 hours. I waited - still won't work! And I hav 2 homes covered by them!

Mediocre at best. Panels slower than an 80s mac. App almost never relays proper information. Locking remotely works about 30% of the time. Sensors randomly disconnect for seemingly no reason and customer service is a toss up between "irritated operator" and "Jupiter satellite delays." Currently considering another provider.

I have not been able to use my system for most of the time that I have had it. The doors get offline a tech comes out and will get it to working and then it's offline again within days. The thermostat has had issues since the system was installed.

I do not like the fact that if I'm having an alarm you way of contacting me is through the panel and a text AFTER THE FACT. During one alarm the panel was note even working. And I don't understand how you think I have time to read or respond to a text if I'm running to the panel during an alarm. I've had to reboot cameras several times recently.

I submitted all my stuff for moving and not being able to take it with me yet it has been months and I am still being charged by fortiva even though my accounts for both are closed because of the disconnect from vivnt to fortiva. I would not recommend it due to the ridiculous hassle I've had to go through with still no results.

I have been trying to cancel this since i got it, i have called many times and within my timeline to cancel. A person was suppose to come to my house to take system out and never showed up. I was told by salesperson that there was NO CONTRACT and I could cancel anytime I wanted. Apparently this was a lie. I was never sent anything to fill out for cancellation. My phone calls should have been enough. Still no one has gotten back to me. Someone needs to make this right.....

Ok. My main issue is that on my Back of siding glass doors the small white piece either has slow down or fell off and I have to tape it to my door otherwise I can't set my security alarm I got told that if someone comes out and fix it I wouldn't get charged and just to go buy glue or tape it to the door

Disappointing to say the least. When I purchased the Vivint system I had high hopes. I bought the security portion, Doorbell camera two thermostats (I have a dual system), door lock, and an interior camera. When COVID-19 hit and I needed to suspend my service to save money I quickly found out that the whole system is 100% usless since I don't pay them the full monthly fee. I explained my situation and was told there is nothing that can be done. Thermostats wouldn't work, camera, doorbell, nothing worked. So unless you want to be locked into FOREVER monthly fees, beware!

I have had a lot of issues with my doorbell camera in specific. It has issue displaying images at night, and shows a very weird white ring all over the camera, making it useless at night. It has terrible mic quality, and randomly just freezes and doesn't work properly.

It's okay. We only used it for a few months then moved and now we are stuck with something we can't use until we get established in our next home so paying full price for it next month isn't going to be ideal. When we were using it everything worked ok but still wasn't worth the price.

System is flashing off. Installer completed late one evening and did not explain system. Not happy with system. Due to coved have not tested wether it works or not. Door Bell so low unable to hear at times! Thinking about having it removed. Have old system and Vivint. Believe they Peggy backed both together! Not Happy,

The front door look has always said that it is not locked when it is locked. I followed he directions on the web site and the lock will not reset even after changing batteries.

Fantastic and easy to use. Also, lots of bang for your buck. I got 2 cameras for the same price I was paying with a competitor and no surveillance.
