In the beginning I was skeptical because all 3 representatives messed up my installation order. Each representative screwed it up more & more, I know they were all trying to help but it didn’t lol. I do appreciate the effort and the great customer service, even when I was frustrated. Finally when the tech came, he was very helpful! Got me a discount for the hassle. & I really love the company despite the mishaps in the beginning!!

Excellent customer support and equipment is high quality! They do stand by their products and will replace them if needed. The app could use some work for IOS users as I have experienced some bugs. The option to pay up front is great, however it will hurt the wallet a bit. If you pay up front the monthly monitoring fee is very low. The equipment will not work if you stop paying so keep that in mind. Overall great company, products, and support!

Vivant has responded to all of my requests in a timely manner. All of their sales people, telephone supply and service technicians are very professional snd I have high regard for all of them. The biggest issue with the company that I have had is they try to trouble shoot over the phone too often and too much. I'm not sure it's due to Covid19 and pandemic but I have called needing service and I have to beg and plead to have a service person sent to my home. They try to get the customer to fix things that truly require a professional who understands security installation. Once I had to take a picture of a door jamb and the company thought they were helping by sending me the part- which was the wrong part anyway and had to send a service technician anyway. It's a waste of time!! On the positive side, I love the phone app and ability to open snd close my garage snd front door remotely! I think the service technicians are friendly, trained well, neat and tidy and very helpful!!!

I would like for Vivint to do an independent review of its initial customer service call in lines. As a consumer I find it most prevalent that in calling into large company one speak or shall I say it an automated phone answering service. This service often when a caller is seeking to speak with a Person younare given another phone number or link sent to you to go to. Then there you dealing again with AI. You spend so much time being routed to everywhere but what you requested through the initial call. I believe if calls are recieved by a Person the caller would spend less time on a call to resolve the caller's problem. Thank you. I would like tonhear by about this issue that is near to my heart as I consider myself a true customer service oriented observer in all aspects of dealing with call backs to all companies.

Vivint's products rival the brands out there in terms of quality. The app is easy to use, as well as the touch screen control center. The customer service, however, far exceeds any other company in the industry. I've had 3 different alarm companies, and after switching away from Vivint, I could not wait for my contract to end so I could switch back to Vivint. Cheaper service means exactly that. Vivint offers more for theirs.

The convenience of the system is good. The system has worked well. I was impressed with the capabilities of the system. On the up front of the installation the that I did was allow myself to be pressured into a contract without fully understanding it's content and the length of it. I played a spent alot of money up front for the installed equipment to keep the monthly payment down. I did this before fully understanding the contract and how long it lock me into it. The system works good but perfect. The picture clarity is not what they made out to be. I guess because digital zoom is not the best quality, but they are good as long as you don't need to zoom in for clarity. I like the overall performance of the system. Just disappointed in the camera quality. So far I haven't needed customer service.

Their interface is really nice on the control panel. I like the convenience of having both the control panel and the app on my phone. I've called customer service several times and the people have always been friendly and helpful. Everything works great! I've had other security systems where there are false alarms and that never happens with Vivint.

On the few occasions I've had to request customer service, they've been helpful, informative, and eager to answer my questions and sort things out. I find that the outdoor cameras are very sensitive, but everything else works brilliantly. Their service technicians are very thorough and whenever I've had one out here, they routinely check every sensor and monitor everything regardless of whether the issue is fixed or not.

As long as it keeps going the way they are going now, I would refer them to anybody. In the past I did not like Vivint but they have changed dramatically. They seem to be more caring than they used to be and that helped. Everything works really well and it is easy to use the app and everything. Knowing we’re protected is great. I have a ninety four year old mother and I am care giver for her so when I leave and the alarm in on, I feel very comfortable.

It's easy to use. The equipment is good and the cameras are good quality. I like being able to arm and disarm my home from anywhere and being able to keep an eye on who comes in and out of my house. Their customer service is always right on time anytime the alarm goes off, they call me within 2 minutes. It has only happened once when my girlfriend forgot the code.

It has been an excellent experience from the sales staff to the installation. This system was ideal as shortly after getting it installed, I had an intruder come to my home. My doorbell was able to record who was snooping around my house and I was able to share this with the police in the event that they came back around again. It has made me feel very safe.

We switched from ADT to VIVINT a few months back. We only had the key pad with them. A VIVINT rep came out and showed us all the new things the offer and for just a little more money a month, we had an updated security system!! We LOVE IT!!! We can view from our phone when out to see what’s going on in our home or yard from various angles. It’s a great service and company and they were able to install the system the same day!!

It’s pretty good. I also have ring bell. However, my other alarm allowed me to hear entry Or openings while I was in my bedroom. This system has the main box downstairs, but the repeater box upstairs dies not talk. Is it possible fir the bedroom to have a control box like my original system. This was a surprise to me because I thought you were making sure I had the same capabilities. I was disappointed when I realized o list capability.

The picture from the camera is great. You are ale to see anything that goes on in your front yard. It also has a motion detector. The sound is loud enough for you to hear it even in a two story house, even with the doors closed. Every time I’ve called with an issue, which is rare, they were able to fix my problem as soon as possible. It is great.

Installed Vivint security system. We met them as a door knocker. We had been needing a new service since we got rid of ADT. We hired them that day and he had an installer there that day. It took all day till about 11pm to get everything done. We feel secure now to leave the house when we go camping. All the cameras can be easily accessed from our phones at any time. We love it.

excellent!! any trouble with equipment is taken care of in a more than timely manner. when an alarm is triggered their response time is immediate! a few weeks ago my "I've fallen and I can't get up alarm was triggered" In six minutes an ambulance was at my door!! It was a false alarm but if it had been real I would have been taken care of in enough time to probably save my life!!!Remember I said 6 minutes and I live in tje 7th largest city in the country!

One December my alarm went off at 4 o’clock in the morning and I got a call from Vivint right away, telling me my window was broken. She stayed on the line with me and called my local sheriffs. A random bullet had shot through my window. I would never had known it had happened because it is high on the ceiling and hidden by a roman shade if it were not for the alarm.

I've been able to kind of navigate through the system with no problems. I can turn my security on and off wherever I am. I could be in Louisiana and I can arm my house or disarm it and I can also see who's at my house and can talk to whoever is at my front door when there's deliver. They are working with me on the camera equipment and I like the idea of being able to have it on my phone. I gave a customer service rep a hard time but they hung in there with me and they resolved all the issues I had.

They have always been very polite any time I needed to speak to them. They have always tried to help us solve the problem or get things scheduled. The cameras are either too sensitive or not sensitive enough and have to be restarted periodically. It's easy. Everything available in the app and the monitor on the wall when you can see everything outside is super aceptable.

One of my co-workers had it and my house was broken into and you guys came with three trucks installed it in like two days it was amazing. Vivint is a good value and works well. It is easy to use - when something goes off they call right away so it gives you a sense of security. Every time I've called with a question, they answer right away and there is no hesitation. I think all the equipment's been good I had one of those little centers in the north fall off and retake the back on that's the only thing that's ever been really bad its good.

I had them install some cameras and because I had felons break into my home and we caught them but if I had that camera probably would have caught them well in advance. I like the camera because you can view it at any time and it also has a record. If I do have a situation or a problem, I talk to them and everything's taken care of. That's why I've had him for years.

They are very responsive every time you have an issue, they are quick to respond and resolve it. The system is efficient and we feel secure. I've had a lot of my equipment for 10 years at this point and it's still working with no problems. Every time that I've had to contact them for anything they were able to resolve my issues right away, and I've never gotten less than what I felt like I was entitled to. If something went wrong or if one of my pieces of equipment broke, they've always been able to come through and make sure that everything is working. They've always been ahead of the game and ahead of the curve in terms of technology and types of equipment that they offer. I could not be happier.

We've had a problem and they took care of it right away. We had one problem and they were out here promptly and took care of it and then the lady that came out was very experienced and she explained things to us more thoroughly / more in layman's terms. We learned some new things about the system that we didn't know before. When we leave, we can lock the house. We just feel safer in the house with all the bells and whistles and we can just tell when people are coming and going and we just like it.

As a senior citizen, I can see the buttons and it's easy to operate. If they call or if the alarm goes off or if there is something out of the ordinary, they give me a call let me know what's going on. Everyone is very professional. I like that there are no wires for the cameras, there's no wires for the motion detector, or the smoke detectors. The alarm uses a lot of batteries and they're a special battery you can't just get at Walmart, you have to go to batteries plus to get that kind. It's a good price.

I had ADT for over a decade and now I'm totally disappointed with their service. I was looking for a new company and I found Viving had all the features that I was searching for so I wanted to give them a try. I manage two homes with Vivint security via the internet and I found the system to be quite robust and responsive to my needs. Customer service listens to concerns and addresses them in a timely fashion. One suggestion would be to let their existing customers know of any new features or capabilities that are introduced or made available to the company.

I've had positive interactions with the customer service the few times that I've had to interact with them. The equipment covers all the bases as afar as what I need for my home. The pricingn is totally expensive. Originally I had a contract for about 42 months and I understood that the pricing would cover the leasing of the equipment but I expected that after the contract was done, my pricing would fall because the equipment has been paid off and I would mostly be paying for the service now. But the price has not dropped so I actually need to get in touch with them to see if I can reduce my monthly payment.

I love the new Smart Home System! We can rest easy at home and the system alerts us to people or pets walking by. With the DVR we can look back on the events. My husband hated the system at first, but now loves it. (He's not a tech person). If I have to call support, they are always ready to help. What I like best with our new system is if you are away when an alarm goes off, you can cancel any responses to it if you can see on your phone there was no threat. We've had Vivint since 2009.

If there's any concerns they are very quick to respond to them, to call me and check inwith tme. And if I have any issues they've very helpful and try to help me solve any issues that I have. The system works very well. The only issue I did have was that apparently their batteries and stuff are secure inside the door, not on the outside but with the help of a Vivint service person I got that figured out and he helped me.

The equipment is good but door sensors where they put it on my back door, one fell off. It just isn't good quality. I would hope that they get their sales people to be more truthful because he told me all these things that weren't quite true. When the installer came a lot of things I thought I was getting once available to me, I couldn't get. Window loks were going to be fifty dollars a piece and she didn't explain any of that. You said to get the system and all this and I could have window locks and I should have been conscious of it because he didn't ask me how many windows I had but I thought maybe if they secure you it's the same but I had to get glass brakers in order to feel safe.

They really try to help you when you're having a problem. If they can't help you, they would let you chose the right technician that can help. The cameras are good. The only problem I have with it is that I wish they could record 24/7 - all day and all night - because you never know where somebody might try to break into your house. I like that I can look at my cameras and see what's going on in my neighborhood.

When they came to my door, the guy gave me a presentation. I liked the features - especially that the doorbell camera records really great. Every time I've talked to them it's been a good experience. They are vvery courteous and very professional and they just they listen. I had a a small smoke fire in my home and the fire department was called. They were right on top of it, not just calling me but calling everyone that I have on my list. Vivint is honest and trustworthy.

Never had any problems with this. I like the setup and that you don't have to run to a box to shut off the alarm when you come into the house. Instead, it just would go off when you unlocked your door. I also like that I can monitor from my phone. I'm very pleased with how quickly they responded when there was an alarm - whether it's throught hte box, or text. That's wonderful. I've always gotten a response when I needed one and they've always been very helpful.

We had a bumpy start with Vivint because our installer did not do a quality install. However, the company sent out their own in-house installer and reimbursed us for the stucco we had replace because the error. We have had Vivint for about 2 years and I have been very pleased with the product, customer service and in-house technichians. I love my doorbell camera and the app the most. I would highly recommend this company and products to anyone.

We can monitor the inside and outside of our house when we are away. It all works great. There was a billion questions when I first set up my system. They gave me an invoice and then the balance due on my web account was much higher than the final invoice that I was given. When I called to ask why, no one could answer me. It took like three weeks before there was somebody there who could look on it and see that I swapped out a higher quality camera then I originally got. It took him a long time to figure out my billing question.

I can be anywhere and access it to get in. If I need to take the dog out or if my mother needs to get in to get clothes for our son while my wife and I are at work. I've had techs come out a few times because of equipment issues and they've been knowledgeable, courteous, and understanding. The techs on the phone they've been great they've been knowledgeable and courteous and try to help fix the situation before we had to call a tech out.

It's not fast when connecting to my cell phone. The app is user friendly. I had an issue and they responded pretty quick but it took them three tries to fix it. They kept saying it was a bad sensor when it was actually the panel and I had to tell them either replace the panel or take the thing out. It has worked perfect since. I do like their higher end cameras better than their lower end cameras, I have two of each. The higher end camera has a wider view and higher resolution. I think they need to stress to their customers the amount of speed they need on their internet. I'm in a rural area so internet is difficult.

I had ADT before and I didn't like it so a neighbor introduced me to vivint. I really like them and the products. I like the option of being able to see what's going on at home through my phone app. I've had it about two years and only once I've had to contact them with an issue and it was quickly resolved. There's no contract. I love the smart home feature. The cameras and everything are good quality. They are always able to help me out with any issues. There's never a no. There's always a way to solve the situation. They should have a website where you can see prices, discounts, and upgrades. I wanted to add some cameras a while back but they told me the monitor I had wasn't compatible and I'd need to buy a new one at full price.

I really like everything. I've gotten it to work fine and have no problems with it. I like the equipment, it is nice not having trouble with it. I've actually added new things and are thinking about adding some more cameras. I like that I can watch over the house on my phone just about anywhere in the country. Every time I call them, they take care of me and have always been very nice.

I believe in the company and my kids also have Vivint in their homes. I have two hubs in my home and ten cameras. They run efficiently. If one goes off, you've got Vivint on the line calling to make sure you are okay. Customer service is great. Every time I call, they've been efficient and have the knowledge. I wish the prices were a bit better but you get what you pay for, a good service.

I have had very little problems with it. Anytime my alarm goes off, they call me immediately, unlike adt, who sometimes called and sometimes didn't. Their customer support is friendly and courteous. They are very knowledgeable and always help me with no problems. I've already recommended it to two friends and they both got the system for their homes.

I have had Vivint for over 6 years now. Overall I am very happy with the service. Most of their equipment has work great. Both of my neighbors have both had attempted breaking. I have not had a single incident. I thank Vivint for that. However I have had a few issues with smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. I no long use them as both have failed. I'm sure in six years they have update or switched to a different type. However I haven't bothered with getting a replacement.
