The first two years of the program were okay. The last year has been less than satisfactory. Been trying to pay off my remaining debts in lump sums since January 1, 2020. FDR couldn't "find" the last remaining creditor. Finally found the creditor and even though I have sufficient $$ in my Deposit Account to pay off my two remaining debts in lump sums, I am told it will take anywhere from 30-45 days and then another 15 days after that to graduate. I'm truly frustrated, not to mention my "savings" thru this program was disappointing (Enrolled Debt: $71,035 - My payments: $67,253.04 = "savings" of $3,781.96).

It's working the debt is falling away. Your customer service. Needs a little work most times they are very helpful but a few times very disturbing how a very easy thing like changing bank info can be so butchered which only hurts me and what I'm trying to accomplish for me and my family. Then there's tax time finding out in paying more.

They were great until I accelerated and paid my program off early. I was told they couldn't stop taking monthly payments altogether and so instead of taking just over $500.00 a month from my bank account they would take $25.00 a month until they could finalize everything with my creditors, which they did, for exactly one month! The next month they promptly went back to taking over $500.00 from my account which caused me to be temporarily overdrawn. When I called to straighten it out the guy on the phone said the withdrawal had only been set up to drop down to $25.00 a month for 1 month and asked me if I wanted to do it permanently? I was livid! You've basically robbed me and my account is overdrawn and you want to play word games! When I exploded and told him to quit talking to me like I was an idiot he told me he was just trying to tell me what happened and that I needed to call my bank to fix it. Then he promptly hung up on me. I called my bank and blocked all future withdrawals by Freedom Debt Relief. They will have to get their payment from a low balance debit card from now on! When I called back and tried to speak with a supervisor they were all too busy so I asked for a call back. Based on the day's interactions I'm not really expecting one.

I reached out to FDR Averi B back in June 2020 via email and phone in regards to my account! I logged into my portal to update my new banking information and instead of pulling money from that bank it pulled money from the bank I removed and the new bank! Over several months, emails, and conversations, (even with the proof that I still have that I did NOT authorize the transaction to come out of the account I was removing) I was told I wouldn’t be able to get the full amount back or at all, and if I took the partial amount that was available back that I would lose my settlement! That was a very low low blow in my book! Especially right now with everything going on with COVID and my husband has no job. It’s now September and no one has bothered to call or email me with anything. I am out my $1311 that I could most certainly use for my family! Thanks FDR for taking $1311 away from my family and not caring at all during these tough times. Just goes to show you how companies really care about their actual customers. All they really want is the money.
