This program, and other “debt relief programs”, is a scam. They prey on people’s fear and that’s how they get you. They have you pay a set amount bi-weekly/monthly. If you’re struggling with income/medical bills, you could not possibly afford to pay this amount. You’d be better off paying minimum payments to the creditors/medical providers you owe and call THEM to explain your financial situation/ask for assistance. This company is essentially robbing the poor to feed the rich. Speaking of robbery, they “mistakingly” took and additional $163 out of my account, (ironically after I had been emailing them all week asking to skip this weeks payment because I just can’t afford it...). When I called, the representative told me it was a mistake and I would be reimbursed in 3-5 business days. I told her that was not acceptable and I asked to speak to her boss. He, “Gus”, was the least customer-friendly person I’ve ever spoken to. He referred to the incident as an “unfortunate event” several times, not once taking ownership for what the company had done and when I pointed out how poorly this was being handled he interrupted me saying “Ma’am is there anything else I can help you with?” I said yeah, I want my ******* money back. Not in 3-5 business days. Right now. He informed me that was not going to happen, so I told him I wanted out of the program, which he did immediately. I still don’t have my money and I doubt I ever will. I’ve been working in customer service for 12 years. This is completely and totally unacceptable. I would have written a check out of my own pocket before treating a client this way. I am furious.

Things were going well with Freedom until I made an extra deposit on my account. I wanted to increase my credit score by paying off my remaining debt with a 10000 extra deposit. The money has not been used at all in three months. It is like Freedom does not want to pay off my accounts so they can continue to make money off of my account. Very disappointing!

Though everyone has been really nice and I'm not sorry I have done it, the early payoff system sucks. You have to bank money til you have enough to pay the loan off in a lump sum. I would have liked to make extra payments that went directly to the balanced owed. THIS WAS NOT EXPLAINED.

It is still early in the process for me so my opinion may change. But, right now I feel like it was not the right decision for me. I should have worked with my creditors separately and adjusted monthly payments rather try to reduce my debt. My credit score is in the toilet and I am trying to sell my house and downsize and I don’t know who will lend me money. I still pay a big monthly payment for my program and only 1out of 4 debts has been settled. I need the other big account settled to even feel remotely better. I also should not have put my small accounts in the program at all. I could have negotiated smaller payments and saved myself headaches. I am not feeling it will be worth the process to settle a smaller amount

All debts were listed when I enrolled. When I sent the late notice, was told some of the debts weren’t listed. Had to re-enroll the debts, list all cc# again, then was told my monthly payment would increase.

1) I was not fully informed as to how negatively my Credit Score would be affected by doing business with your company. 2) The process went entirely too long without any communication ( including updates to my Dashboard) for any action to have been taken even though all required funds ha been deposited.
