We are having a problem right now with our creditors calling us non stop wanting payment. I was of the opinion when I entered the address and phone number that was provided to us that our creditors would call that number, however, that is not the case.

However, it is still up to the creditors to accept the updated contact information. There are some helpful videos on how to deal with creditor calls on the home page of your client dashboard . Contacted freedom. They sounded like a good company at first. I made the mistake of using them. Up front they say they will take of ALL of your accounts at once. That NEVER happened. Once your account is set up with them, they tell you to stop paying on your accounts and they will handle it. They only took care of ONE account at a time. So now that your not paying other accounts, there was non stop calls for payments. Also your credit score takes a huge dive down. So now freedom has you right where they want you. The next scam is their sister company, Consolidation Plus. They called to say i now qualify for a loan to take of the rest of the debt after months of calls and bad credit. At this point you really have no choice but to take the high interest loan. But they did finally settle with the credit card companies, which was the only good thing that came from this. So basically STAY AWAY FROM FREEDOM DEBIT RELIEF. It's a ploy to force you into the high interest loan!

Freedom Debt Relief will never receive a referral or otherwise positive endorsement from me. Dishonest business practices and sales tactics from FDR have left me in a much worse position today then I was when I started, specifically in legal terms. I had expressed a desire to not add a specific creditor during my initial discussions with FDR and was told that unless I added that creditor I was probably not going to be on-boarded into the program. Reluctantly, I did so. After six months of no payments to the creditor and no communication from FDR, I was sued by the creditor and although I used NLLG, a judgement for full payment plus legal fees was awarded to the creditor. If I'd have kept the creditor and dealt with them on my own, I would not have been sued and nor would I now owe several hundred dollars MORE than what I had owed in the beginning. Additionally, FDR is charging me over a thousand dollars in fees for their work with this creditor. If I could do so, I'd remove all the rest of my creditors before the same thing happens. FDR apparently doesn't care if the end user gets sued in the process.

I was unhappy with FDR's lack of communication with my debtors. I had 4 separate debts. The last one had to wait 3 years before they were communicated with, therefore they took me to court, I would have done the same. While it did work out in the end, it cost me more for legal fees and a great deal of stress.

After 6 month my small debt of 1355 was settled for 1173. The settle fees that I had to pay were approx. 333. I would say that it probably would have been better to make arrangements with the creditor. I do have two more creditors with larger balances. I am waiting to see what the settlement is for them. This is my first time doing this but I do not see the benefit yet. I was not going to include this account because of the small balance but the rep kept including it until I finally agreed. I wish not I did not include it.

The agent I talked to was very reassuring and warm. I ended up enrolling my debts with Freedom Debt Relief. I do wish there was more communication after enrollment. It seems like the first three-five months is spent waiting. I am anxious to see closure but understand that this is a process.

We chose Freedom after much research into other companies. We had several credit card balances and one very large balance. Freedom assured us that they could incorporate this very large, hard to deal with creditor into our plan with no problem. It has become a huge problem! Not only is there zero reduction on this account but Freedom has asked us to increase our already budget taxing deposit twice. We complied and now they are saying they need another $120. One time deposit. Does it make any sense to keep asking clients for more money when they came to Freedom for financial help in the first place. This last $120. Is to cover Freedom fees in addition to what they already collect monthly. The communication is extremely poor and unprofessional Please do not believe what this company tells you. If something seems too good to be true IT IS! Especially with Freedom Go elsewhere !

I started in may with the program. I worked so hard before to get my credit card score up I. Three months in the program and it's dropped 125 points. I have an issue with one bill collector and I called client services and was told to keep at it with the program! I am! But it is stressful!! Going to keep on it because I can see the savings on each agreement with creditors.
