All the paperwork and stuff was sent pretty straight forward, and they seemed to have a good understanding of the situation. I think it was smart to sign up with them, but I did cancel later on. Whoever signs up should definitely do some research. This way, they make sure they understand what they're doing, as far as everything that's going to happen.

I had actually planned to work an additional three years which would have allowed me to get my debt under control before retiring. Unfortunately, as much as I don't think I'm old, i somehow fractured some endplates on some vertebrae. I will be getting it fixed, but think it's in my best interest to retire at 65 vs 68. Sergio C. did very well in making me, (the client) comfortable while I was discussing with him my debt issues as I was feeling nervous, uneasy, and distressed due to my debt status. I was not sure if I could trust him at first due to the fact that I was a victim of a scam and I lost several thousands of dollars; I was afraid and unsure if I should give him my personal information when he was asking me questions but Sergio knows his job well. He was very professional and very careful in the way he handled my particular situation. He was soft-spoken and very patient. In no time, he made me calm my stress level down. But that doesn't always prepare you for an experience you don't want in the first place. Who wants to reach out when a problem you created overwhelms you? I have nothing but high praise for the consultant who took care of me--Angie Parker. For one thing, she was real. Not someone reading off a script (well, if she was, she's missed her calling and should think about a stage or film career). She was non-judgmental and made me feel comfortable from the get-go. She answered questions thoroughly and checked in periodically throughout our conversation to confirm I had everything I needed.

I had a very tough time deciding if I really wanted to go through with this process because it is such a personal life decision. I also don't trust easily, especially with so much fraud/scams out there, so I was very nervous when I called Accredited to look into this. My first contact was my Consolidation Specialist, Moe Saad, and I have to say, I gave this guy a lot of skepticism and doubt throughout the call, but he remained understanding, patient and kind the entire way. He talked me through every step of the process, remaining calm and empathetic to my concerns, and he made me feel comfortable the whole way through, not at all like the "used car salesman" I tend to expect from companies just wanting to "make the sale". I am still in the early stages of this process with Accredited, but I have been met with nothing but kindness, patience and professionalism from everyone that I have been in contact with, which has made going through this life-changing event so much easier than I ever expected it to be.
