My Capital One Venture card is great. I like the app and how I get notification receipts. I like that they have expanded what your points can go towards because of difficulties around Covid. I wish they had more actual travel partnerships, especially airlines because that is how I prefer to travel and I can't get much out of my points when it comes to air travel.

Very unhappy with my last experience. An ad stated that I could apply for a credit card from them with interest rates from 14%-29%. My other card are 7.9% and 12.5%, as I have an excellent credit rating. When I called there was a LONG wait time. Customer service said anyone could apply on line and it would be faster. So, I did, was accepted immediately, BUT THE INTEREST RATE ASSIGNED WAS 28%!!! I couldn't talk to a real person to explain, and there was no way to refuse the card online. I would NEVER accept a card with a rate like that. I called customer service and they said they could do nothing about my rate, because it had been online. Cards came in the mail and I immediately cancelled them. NOBODY I was able to speak with had anything to offer me except the 28% interest rate for their card. Who in heck gets the 15% cards? They also wouldn't tell me that. Maybe it was all a lie and they were handing only high interest rate cards.?? Not doing business with them ever again.

overall, this is a great card. I have been happy with their customer service. I did have one mishap several years back where I paid my balance in full but it posted a day late. As a result, they posted a late fee which I did not know about for a few months. That said, I had a delinquency. I learned about it when I attempted to refinance my house and was told by my loan officer that my credit score dropped a bit. When I called Capital One to explain the situation, they offered no help. This has taught me to always quadruple check my balance to make sure all is paid off in full.

I have the Capital One Venture credit card and I haven't had any issues with them. One time, my credit card was used fraudulently and they were quick to update my via text. All I had to do was reply saying that it wasn't authorized by me. The only thing I wish they had was a way for me to complete the fraud report online or on the mobile app. I had to call them to get that completed, although I didn't have to wait long.

If you want to travel more, this is the credit card to own. I feel really safe owning this cards. If you own a Capital One card, it will help you look for any travel that may have been charged so that you receive the proper credit. I love Capital One. When I needed to refinance my car, they were able to help me out without a problem. I had some problems in the past with my credit but after I was able to work them out, I was able to get a new loan through them and they really helped me save money by offering a lower interest rate and not trying to take advantage of me like some other loan companies were.

I have the QuickSilver and Walmart Cards. They are both good with introductory offers, and rewards. They give you statement credits and monthly cash back: 1.5% for QuickSilver and 2-5% for Walmart. No annual fees and easy approval. I use both of these on a weekly basis.

I'm a Capital One customer, meaning I have a BJ's wholesale store and credit card. This card gets me my membership at the wholesale club, with all kind of discounts. If I use my BJ's/Capital One card at the gas pumps - I get 0.15 cents off per gallon - that helps when gas is hovering close to $4.00 per gallon.

I really like the way this company monitors my credit card activity and contacts me when they see something out of the ordinary. On several occasions my card has been compromised and they caught the unauthorized charges before I even knew it. Twice had a card overnighted to me at no cost to replace the compromised card. Even had this happen while traveling for work - they were able to work it out so that I got the card at the hotel where I was staying and saved the trip.

Capital one was the first credit card company that accepted my application after becoming a US resident. A lot of other companies did not let me apply for their service because I did not have any credit score. I think Capital one is a great company to get your first credit card, the application process was pretty easy, their apps is easy to use and have a great interface. I am very pleased by their service, I will definitely stay a loyal customer.
