We have been customers of this company for decades. In the past you could call them regularly and negotiate the APR and they would 90% of the time lower it. Nowadays that will NEVER happen and they don’t care how long you have been using their service. Thankfully, we pay off our monthly amount in full every month so their high APR doesn’t touch us. My recommended card with the lowest national APR is Simmons First out of Arkansas.

I'm very happy with capital one. Because of this company I was able to purchase a few things that my 14 year old son needed for school. The only problem I'm having is paying my bill. I work 3 days a week and it's very hard to fit it in. But I will because I want to keep capital one and I want to establish good credit with them.

I signed up for a Capital One credit card to rebuild my credit. The interest rate was in-line with other options available to me, and the reporting to the Credit Bureau has helped! Main downside has been very slow customer service- be prepared to spend twice as much time on the phone as you expect.

Credit cards are pretty much all the same, high interest, bad customer service and gimmicks. Capital One is one of my favorites, nice interest rate, good customer service and more important is that they will assist you with a dispute with merchants. I like Capital One, it's in my wallet.

I have 2 Capital One credit cards and have for a rather long time. I'm not sure why I ended up with 2 of them, but they're both equally good. My main reason for using them is when I travel or buy things from other countries. There are no foreign transaction fees. The rewards are good, but not great.

Capital one is one of the banks I bank with and while it is an amazing bank, it has its flaws. From personal experience Capital one does not give frequent updates on the status of my account and their mobile banking is quite simplistic. Nonetheless, their customer service is reliable.
