It seems like Capital One likes to "add on" services that are not essential. The low cost to uninformed consumers seems like a value, but you don't really need to pay for these add on services. I feel like they promote the add on services to the collage age person that might still be learning about credit. boo to them for doing this.

This is my "go to" card, with 1.5% cashback. No need to worry about getting cashback from quarterly incentives or shopping at specific stores. Linking my account with Capital One 360 allows me to easily fund my bill.

Capitol One Credit cards are widely accepted but normally carry a higher than market rate based upon same credit ratings. I only use my card to pay for Washington CAPs season tickets, as Capitol One gives us some perks for using their card within Capitol One Area. If were not for this use, I would not have their card.

We've had this savings account for over 10 years. The interest rates on the savings used to be the highest, and are now middle of the pack. The website is user friendly though, makes for a great online bank account with no customer service interactions.

I do not like paying $50 member fee. Nor do I like my high interest rate. On the plus side I have been given a high credit limit over the last 7 years. When fraud happens the company is quick to resolve it.

Capital One is a HORRIBLE company and can't be trusted at all!!!! When I was first married, I received a Capital One credit card. They constantly lied to me and they really screwed me with their fees. Even when I tried to use a credit consolidating company, Capital One was still a nightmare. I don't trust them at all. Never have, never will!!!
