AMEX used to be synonymous for customer service and perks. However, these qualities have gone down over the years. Their Blue card is no annual fee with cashback at 3% for groceries. Email status is great. You have to monitor your rewards, because special incentives are not always posted.

I have a good experience to use American Express card. It is safe to use even in outside of USA and the transaction fees are low. I also have a good experience for its custom services.

We love our Delta SkyMiles card. For a couple of years it’s no longer been accepted at Costco, but that’s been the only real downside! This is my go-to credit card.

My limited experience with American Express has been good for the most part. I have the Delta credit card, and my only complaint so far is that the value of a SkyMile isn't as readily accessible as I would like.

I have been pleased with my AMEX cards. I have been able to earn great rewards. The only downside is that you sometimes can’t use them everywhere. They have resolved any issues that I have had.

We had an American Express 15 years ago. We made payments every month. One month we completely paid it off and they cancelled the card with no reason. We were very confused and not happy. We have now had an American Express for a few years and are happy with our current experience. My only complaint now is that some places don't take Amex.

American Express is all about the vendor and not very customer (consumer) focus. We basically got scammed and called AMEX to cancel the card and switch. After they sent us the new card, AMEX still allowed the scammer to make charges to the NEW card!! what was the whole point of canceling the old card if you are going to allow them to continue charging the new card? I had to contact the attorney general to get the matter resolved. AMEX is all about letting merchants charge all sorts of fees and then go after the consumer no matter if its correct or not. After a quick search, I discover there was a big class-action lawsuit against American Express. PLUS this is the worst credit card to get as MOST merchants don't take it. Never again!

The card is good. the interest seems to be bit higher than other credit cares but as long as you don't forget to pay before the end of the month it's good. I have simple card and get a few points with every purchase. It adds up over time and eventually turns into a $25 gift card.

Overpriced annual fees for a card with no added benefits. When I was looking for a card that offered great rewards I thought I had it with AMEX, it turns out that wasn't the case. The whole time I had the card I was underwhelmed. I would look into another card before signing up with AMEX.
