I have the delta card through American Express. I’ve been happy overall with no issues or problems except the occasional merchant that either doesn’t take Amex or charges an additional fee to use it.

The card is good. the interest seems to be bit higher than other credit cares but as long as you don't forget to pay before the end of the month it's good. I have simple card and get a few points with every purchase. It adds up over time and eventually turns into a $25 gift card.

Rates have fluctuated but have been pretty steady. I use it a lot and having the sky miles on it has been great. They've been really easy to work with when my card is compromised or for any fraud activity.

I had an American Express card for quite some time. I actually really liked the card and benefits but the yearly fees began to just be too much compared to my other 2 cards. I would recommend Amex to anyone who doesn't necessarily care about the annual fee.

I have always liked the perks with this card, but find them to be a little more expensive and a lot harder to use because not everyone accepts them. I still use this card and like it for the sky miles and the companion ticket.

Overpriced annual fees for a card with no added benefits. When I was looking for a card that offered great rewards I thought I had it with AMEX, it turns out that wasn't the case. The whole time I had the card I was underwhelmed. I would look into another card before signing up with AMEX.

I liked our American Express when we had it. We had the Costco card with them and switched when Costco switched. The cash back rewards were the best in the industry. Very easy to redeem each year.

I like their online portal where you can see all your transactions easily. They are quick to respond to suspected fraud and other accounting issues. I wish they didn't leave Costco, though.

Horrible customer service experience with Amex on a new account due to a system error, and very poor to no resolution to correct the issue. Sad to see the Amex quality of service decline so far from what it used to be.
