I have been with Verizon for several years now. I feel that I am getting a good service for my money. Verizon Smart Family should included with your plan that you don't have to pay extra for. I think they could have a better coverage area but overall I am satisfied.

We get service/signal out where we live when other people come out here, wether it be family, friends or workers of some kind can not get a good signal unless they have Verizon Wireless.

If this was 4 years ago I would give Verizon a 5. But we've moved from the area and having to rely soley on cell service Verizon is a 1 star. I give an extra start for the past years. Checking thru Cellmapper.net I can see that Verizon's coverage stops just outside my property line. We are surrounded by shopping and I found if I go shopping I have excellent service, less than 1/4 mile away. So why does Verizon's coverage stop short? No one can answer that. I can find two T-Mobile cell towers that cover our home with a long reach of coverage. Verizon's is all about the shopping area nothing else. And G5... will have shorter coverage areas. "Can you Hear Me Now"?

Bottom Line: Too expensive, plans are changing every few months, can't decipher the bills BUT they really do have the best network regardless of the commercials of the competition. Since I might need this phone to save my life I stick with Verizon

Not to long ago I would have given Verizon a 5. However, they have started making changes to their plans and not only would my bill go up they also charge approximately 40 dollars for start up fees, per line. Second the quality of phone calls has diminished also. Several times a day my phone cuts out, or it can not hold a call and you get dropped. I am hoping for change.

I've been with them since about 1996. I've always been able to get service where there are towers (I've visited areas that had no towers!) I've had services available to me, when many other companies had no service, or sketchy service.

Have five phones with Verizon and have been with them since they came in existent, the last two phones I have had in the soon be four years have been terrible, can not get a new phone my wife and I till the two year contract runs out. They are a good company but they do not have any concern about my problem, have taken the phones in they changed chip in the phone no help did we get.

I love Verizon, from their customer service on line to in their stores everyone has been very helpful. Where I live in the country, my friends who have other providers can't get service 98% of the time do matter where I'm at I get service.

Great service and coverage. Military discounts! Jet pack provides excellent internet! They work hard to help their customers with accurate and rapid response. I have had Verizon for over 20 years and used them from SC beach to Oahu, HI.

Verizon is solid as far as service goes. Their sales practices are bad and I don't like dealing with them as they're only engaged in making money and not customer services. But at least my calls don't drop like my friend with Sprint.

Verizon's service is very good. I have reception without interruption pretty much everywhere I go (throughout the US) and it is clear. I believe their pricing is competitive, but also feel that ALL mobile carriers overcharge customers. This puts the customer in the position of having to bargain for rates, which should be unnecessary.

They're coverage is great. The customer service (call center) is great. To imorove- in the store the sales people are equipped to do only that. They cannot or do not help with technical issues or anything like that. And the "Verizon Authorized Dealers" are a complete waste of time. The corporate stores are good. They also sell good products.

They could improve by giving everyone the same bargain price. I have several times called to complain about pricing and they have "opportunities" they haven't bothered to tell me and are able to reduce the price. They do have great coverage in many areas of the country, which is why I use them

Phone reception is usually pretty good. Costs can get high. Their web site sometimes doesn't work well, customer support is hit or miss, but my sense is that it's better than the alternatives.

I have been with many different phone companies and Verizon has been my favorite so far. Even though it is a little more money than others I am able to get service everywhere I go and I got to upgrade to the newest phone. I love the plan I am on and love the people that work there​ as well. Super helpful and friendly.

I have had Verizon service for about 10 years and worked for them for 7 of those years. Service has always been good. Client services can use a bit of work, the communication on the online chat seems to not be getting logged. There was an issue I had with that but ended up getting cleared up. till believe that Verizon is the best in the industry

For the most part Verizon's service is great, however I live in a somewhat isolated area and the only time we have cell service, though limited, is when we have a wildfire in our area such as the Carr and Delta fires this summer. During those episodes we get limited service through the temporary tower set up by the US Forest Service group. Our local volunteer fire dept. (Coffee Creek Volunteer Fire Department) has offered Verizon use of our tower but it has not been even considered. No cell service = no warnings of a disaster!

The service is decent, but it's getting more expensive. The dropped my employee discount when I upgraded to unlimited. I was a loyal customer for well over a decade. Now I might switch if I can get a better deal from AT&T. I have some dead spots I hit in both Texas and California. I also have issues with sound dropping when I'm switching towers. If it was perfect, I might think twice, but now that the rates are higher, and I'm adding more lines, I'm willing to try the competition.

I would never use another provider for my cell phone service, period! Yes, the cost is crazy, but the service and coverage is priceless. I never have trouble with service when traveling, even when out of the country and I can handle most of my issues online. I will continue to pay the price for the service alone.

I love the coverage and speeds that Verizon has, second to none. The only thing I have an issue with is the pricing. They are always the most expensive, but you get what you pay for, correct? I would refer them to anyone because of the coverage and speeds.

Their cell service is great and most of the products are good. I didn't like the business service side, but the residential service was fine. Some of the customer service reps don't understand the service enough, so they don't explain some of the services very well, but overall, it's good.

The service is the most reliable I've seen over the years. The pricing, however, is quite a bit higher; both phones and service are higher than most other providers. The extra cost is justifiable (although not desirable), for the reliability. The customer service and technical support is outstanding.

Good service horrible price. My service is about as standard as it gets. Unlimited data, service almost everywhere. These days that's provided by most companies. The fact that I pay $110 a month for something I could pay Walmart to go phones $45 a month for the same service is why I rate so low and am waiting for my contract to expire.

Coverage map is awesome! Voice provider rating, probably 4.5 out of 5.0, due only to the occasional loss of calls in areas where coverage really should be excellent. The "Unlimited" data plan gets about ' star!!! They are fine if all you want to do is download occasional updates, emails and such. But our internet requirement is between 35GB and 40GB per month. Now, under their new plan, at 15GB, they reduce speed to less than or equal to 600 kB per second. That is not much more than dial-up and is completely insufficient for normal Internet use! And they charge a fortune for two phones and one data line.

Verizon has gotten a lot better over the years. Their customer service has vastly improved and their treatment of your bill and related policies are now a lot more customer-focused and less skeezy. I hate having to get a sales pitch for a different plan half the times I call customer support, but aside from that their support is generally helpful. Their physical stores and kiosks, however, are still strange, sales-y places that feel like they're run by kids who don't really know what they're doing and are overly focused on "upselling" you instead of helping you.

I was with these guys for a long time. I felt constantly like I was being overcharged, but I stayed with them because they had the best coverage. I was always unhappy after customer service calls and it seemed like no one quite knew what they were doing at their offices. They do have great coverage but you are going to pass through the nose for it.

Verizon has quality products for relatively low prices. Their coverage is amazing in the US and around the world if you are willing to pay their international prices. Not the best for abroad travel because of the cost but great for national use.

Verizon provided me with great service the only problem I had was that they weren't able to make adjustments for me to get a new phone even though I was willing to pay the price. This was due to the contract that I signed that I wasn't able to make adjustments when I wanted. I have no complaints on their employees or the wireless connection I had with my phone.

I had Verizon for about 6 years. I flel I had a love hate relationship with them. I loved having good cell phone coverge, but hated being locked in to a plan. Since we had a family plan someone was always locked in and couldn't change carriers if we wanted too. The cost of a new smart phone and data plan at Verizon was why I changed carriers. I just couldn't afford what it was going to cost for my husband and I to have smartphones with Verizon.

Terrible experience after being a customer for over 15 years. Had two different CSR's give me two different upgrade options. When I asked the second person why I was not getting the same upgrade as the previous CSR she tried to tell me that she has never heard of that program. Strange....I have the message here from Verizon showing me my options. After she tried to do the bait and switch, I held my ground and notified her I was going to call corporate. She went in the back room and ...Shazaam...a program appeared. Now, after I complained to corporate about the incident, I received a message that they have been trying to get a hold of me to discuss the issue. They did not....only the one message saying they have repeatedly tried to discuss the issue with me. Spent $700 for two IPhones and additional data....and accessories which is where they make a great commission. Sad thing.....Sprint, At&T, T Mobile, are the worst in terms of coverage and upgrades on phones after two years.

I really enjoy Verizon. I have had few problems with cellular data, and appreciate their wide range of coverage across the United States. I went rock climbing In Montana and was able to send my family text updates no problem.

Verizon is the best phone service I have had. If we ever switched services, we quickly switched back to Verizon. I have not had a connection issue, even in some of the more remote areas. I can rely on it to make calls whenever I want or need to.

Excellent cell phone coverage, good customer communication, and support services are very good. However, theyhave tended to change pricing plans toward families to the extent that single user plans do not qualigy for better pricing. Data plans start too high for someone like myself, who uses WiFi for most of my data streaming. I rarely need or use more than 2 GB per months.
