Sprint and T-Mobile have merged.

As of April 2020, Sprint has joined forced with T-Mobile to provide customers with one of the largest 5G networks in the country. As a result, information in this review may be outdated. To learn more about this merger, check out our T-Mobile Review, or read through our Sprint reviews from actual customers (below).

Sprint is a major provider of wireless phone and Internet products and services for individuals and businesses throughout the world and offers the latest smartphone and tablet device technology with 4G LTE data coverage in over 500 cities nationwide.

Founded in 1899 and headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas, Sprint now owns Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile, and the Assurance brands of non-contract providers.

The Good

  • Metro Area Network Coverage
  • Multi-Line Service Prices
  • Additional Perks
  • Device Options

Metro Area Network Coverage

Though Sprint's coverage depth and breadth are not as robust as that of the top companies, its coverage is improving in certain areas. Sprint now offers especially fast 4G LTE network coverage improvements in four major U.S. metro areas in preparation for 5G speeds:

  • Atlanta, GA (over 50 percent faster than previous download speeds)
  • Denver, CO (over 50 percent faster than previous download speeds)
  • Las Vegas, NV (nearly twice as fast as previous download speeds)
  • Salt Lake City, UT (twice as fast as previous download speeds)

Multi-Line Service Prices

Sprint focuses heavily on serving families or groups of friends that want to go in on a phone account together. The group pricing provides an incentive to add more lines because of the discounts available.

For example, the Unlimited Basic service plan gets you your third, fourth, and fifth lines free, totaling $20/month per line, a price that is very difficult (if not impossible) to find elsewhere for what you get. The carrier claims using its unlimited plan actually gives customers a $1,000 savings over their first year over certain competitors.

Additional Perks

Sprint's three "Unlimited" plans, Unlimited Basic, Unlimited Plus, and Unlimited Premium, all include these benefits:

  • Unlimited talk and text
  • Hulu account
  • Mobile hotspot (500 MB LTE, 50GB LTE, or 100GB LTE)
  • Video streaming (480p, 1080p, or full HD)
  • Canada and Mexico roaming and unlimited talk, text, and data (5GB, 10GB, or unlimited 4G LTE data)
  • Text and data in 200+ worldwide locations

Unlimited Plus includes a Tidal account as well, and Unlimited Premium comes with Tidal, Lookout, and Amazon Prime.

Customers age 55+ or customers who are active military or veterans qualify for specialized Unlimited plans. Data plans for tablets, mobile hotspots, and smartwatches can be purchased, too.

Device Options

New and popular Apple and Android phones and tablet options are available through Sprint. Financing rates are based on credit qualifications, but generally, you can utilize the Spring Flex 18-month lease on a new phone. Pre-owned phones are also available. If your current phone is compatible with the Sprint Network and it is unlocked, you can activate it with a new Sprint account. You do need a SIM card to activate your device.

A Sprint customer can also purchase any of the following tech accessories:

  • Smartwatches
  • Tablets
  • Hotspots
  • Sprint Drive (enables vehicle diagnostics, driving behavior analytics, location tracking, roadside assistance, and media connectivity)
  • Ear pods and other wireless headphones
  • Chargers

The Bad

  • Coverage Gaps
  • Early Termination Fees
  • Expensive Hotspots

Coverage Gaps

Depending on where in the U.S. you live, Sprint's network coverage can be outstanding or poor, so potential customers should closely study Sprint's coverage map prior to signing up to avoid slower download speeds and dropped calls.

Early Termination Fees

The early termination fee (the cost a consumer pays when they cancel their contract early) is something you should be aware of before signing up with Sprint. If you sign up for a 1 or 2-year contract and then decide to change carriers, you must pay a fee for each line of service you signed up with. The fee is prorated based on the length of your remaining term commitment, but depending on how many months you have remaining on your contract, you might end up paying a steep price.

Expensive Hotspots

Standalone hotspots and Wi-fi card plans are expensive with Sprint. The cheapest plan the carrier currently provides is $30/month for 10GB of data. There are also additional fees that can apply with the limited GB data.

gavel

The Bottom Line

Sprint has plenty to offer prospective customers, with the most attractive perk being the affordable multi-line smartphone plan pricing. Paying $20/month for smartphone services is almost unheard of.

Is Sprint good? Customer reviews are mixed, reflecting both positive and negative experiences with Sprint's customer service team, terms and conditions, and network coverage. Read the reviews below to decide for yourself.

Do not do any business with Sprint or T-Mobile. Sprint robbed me of over 500.00 dollars. When attempting to get a refund I was lied to several times. Calling customer service is the most painful task anyone can do in a day. Every time you call, you have to start your story all over again and the wait times can be astronomical. Are they not taking any notes about the 30 times I have had to call call? And dozens of attempts later, still not resolved. With a company this large, you think they would be obligated to refund their customers with money that was wrongfully charged/billed. Months of calling and getting transferred from one customer service rep to another, I have been left with nothing but wasted time and a bank account that is short over 500.00. They have even admitted their mistake in overcharging me but still no resolution. Please don't waste your time and money. If there are any issues you will be promised everything and anything, but you most likely will be left with frustration and regrets. I have always been friendly and kind and always paid my bills on time for years. But to them that doesn't matter. They would rather lose a customer than resolve a wrong doing. To this company, YOU DON'T MATTER. What a shame. I am looking for assistance on how to file a formal complaint or but of course SPRINT and TMOBILE are not assisting with that either. Even after acknowledging that they made a mistake in overcharging me for hundreds of dollars.

Sprint is the worst and most worthless wireless company you could ever go with. Cricket and boost mobile are a way better option. The Sprint company is a bunch of thieves and liers. They promise one plan with services and then go back and charge you for everything they offered as free. I was promised 2 lines and 2 phones for one price per month and after signing the contract I was overpaying by almost $60 per month. They would not let me speak to the representative who originally sold me this plan. Their customer service is garbage. Spent 30 min minimum every time I called in just waiting for an answer. But after hours of being on the phone with reps who kept passing me around, we got nowhere. Non of the reps I spoke with presented their real name nor do I believe that they are even in the U.S. This company has been a hassle for everything so far. It is even difficult to cancel a line or contract. They are a bunch of scammer. The worst part is I've been with them for over 8 years hoping, and getting promised that things would get better but never did. I would never recommend this company to anyone, not even my enemy.

About three years ago my wife and I switched from Sprint to another mobile carrier. When we turned in our old phones at a small satellite store they put them in the back room and due to some confusion on who they belonged to they did not get turned in for credit. We received a message from Sprint stating we did not get credit due to our phones not being turned in. We went back the store and found out the phones where still there. We took the phones back into our possession and took them to a regional Sprint store here in Boise ID and turned them in. It seems that even though the manager of that store assured us that the matter would be taken care of it did not. Since that time we have been turned into several collection agencies for a $260 debt, we contact Sprint tell them the situation they say oh okay we’ll take care of it just to have another collection filed from a different company. We would like this resolved “Immediately” without delay. I want all collections removed and a letter from Sprint absolving us from any and all debt or fault.

Joe W real person, customer of sprint for 14 years (since 2007). My service is terrible. Their web site is complicated and geared toward getting new phone service or expanding your existing account. They have closed down some towers since T-Mobile aquired and now my service is limited; they said the network I am on will shut down January and I need a new phone . They ply you with "free" phone upgrades are not free and, in fact, expensive. You end up being locked in to their service for 24 months. If you cancel service early, the "free" phone is costing several hundred dollars. This company is expensive and dishonist. For my 14 years of consumer loyalty, I get no more than a new subscriber. This company has abused me. Do not use T-Mobil or Sprint, they are dishonest.

Literally the worst experience I have ever had. It started when our account trasferred over to T Mobile and then they only had my deceased mom on the account after she passed 10 years ago so I had to jump through many hours of phone calls with Sprint and hours at Sprint locations to change liability. Then upgraded to a new Iphone online but after I activate the phone with the new t mobile SIM card, it wont take a charge. I spent 3 hours on the phone with Sprint to get a new one, then they tell me I have to pay for the phone again and wait for a refund when I send the old phone. Horrible customer service.

As a Sprint customer for over 8 years, I implore you not to go through Sprint to upgrade or add services to your existing Sprint account. Go through T-Mobile directly or change carrier completely. Sprint’s sales agents uses a bait and switch tactic promising lower costs but when you receive your monthly bill the amount quoted is much higher. When you escalate the bait and switch tactic to a customer service supervisor, they are aware of this practice and attempt to placate you by offering you a credit settlement that is minuscule relative to the bait and switch. In addition, you can spend anywhere from 30 - 90 minutes on the telephone pleading your situation. Sprint customers, don’t fall for the “you’re a legacy customer and we appreciate your years of service with Sprint.” That the bait before you experience the switch. BUYER BEWARE!

I have had the most horrible customer service experience I've ever had with Sprint/T-Mobile! I have been with Sprint since 2016 and since the merge I've had nothing but problems with my service, with my messages, but the worst of them all was the experience I just had over the course of the last few weeks. I ordered a phone through the website. The website showed the phone in stock. The money was taken out of my account the same day I placed the order and the next day I received an email that my phone was on back order. When I called they told me there was nothing they could do about it I just had to wait. I asked if I could have store credit they said no, I asked if I could change for another device they said no. My only option was to cancel my order. They told me if I didn't hear anything in a few days to call back and cancel my order. So I waited a few days. Before calling I checked the site to see my order status. It showed "pending" so I figured I'd just cancel it myself. When I clicked cancel order I got an error message saying "Your order has been shipped or canceled" I went back to order status to see if it had been canceled and it was still showing pending. So I called. The person I talked to told me that they couldn't cancel it either and they didn't know why, and that I had to wait. So I waited another week. Still nothing. No updates, no emails that it was shipped, order still showed pending. I called again. This time I was told that I had to wait because it wasn't showing back order anymore but now it had to wait for the carrier to say shipped. Yet when you check the order status there is a box that says ready to ship, but it was still showing pending. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, he denied my request. Later that night I received an email that my order was canceled due to item being out of stock and the money that I had withdrawn from my account for the new phone was put towards my next bill instead of refunded to me. When I called they gave me the complete run around. Everything she was telling me did not make any sense. I have had hiccups with Sprint in the past, and they have always been quick to fix the problem. I have NEVER been told "You have to wait" so many times with no updates what so ever.

Worst possible customer service. In order to use the 5g network, they told me I needed to use T-Mobile's SIM card. I called and installed per their directions for installation. It did not work. After 3 calls and 2 1/2 hours on the phone, my phone is rendered dead. When I finally asked to speak someone knowledgeable, i.e., a manager, the lady came back 15 minutes later, would not let me speak to a manager, and transferred me to technical support. After 15 minutes on hold for technical support, i received notice that their hours end at 9: 00 PM central time. I've been with Sprint for 20 years. That will now end. Tonight I have no phone service. I will need to take off work, go into to a store, and hopefully after a few hours wasted time, I will have phone service restored. I'll now have to decide between Verizon and AT and T. Shameful.

my experience with Sprint and their customer service was absolutely horrible I had an issue with them charging things on my account without my knowledge the lack of communication was horrible during the duration of me trying to get my issue resolved and dealing with sprint customer service was absolutely The most horrible experience I’ve ever had to deal with in customer service in my 30+ something years I’ve been alive I was lied to on several occasions I was hung up on on several occasions by sprint resolution supervisors I had to speak with over 10 representatives and it took over 24 hours to have my issue resolved and the only reason my issue got resolved is because I went into a T-Mobile store and spoke with a manager on duty and he was absolutely wonderful he got my issue resolved as well as treating me with the respect I deserved he was very genuine and it is unfortunate that T-Mobile employee have to deal with the disaster that sprints put their customers through but I am truly glad that T-Mobile has bought them out and eventually there will be no such thing as sprint I would never ever recommend sprint to anyone if I would have known that sprint customer service was this horrible I would not have given them over two years of my customer loyalty nor would I Have let them get their hands on my heart or money so if there is anyone that is dealing with Sprint And they’re horrible customer service my phone I would Recommend that they go to a T-Mobile store to get the help that they are seeking from sprints customer service team

I have been a Sprint Customer for over 12 years. I ran past my original contract and since I live in one of a number of states that allow a certain Lease Laws, Wisconsin being one of them, they automatically turn your original contract into a Lease Contract which allows them to demand the phone back even if you do the buy out price, which in my case was 135.00. So I either stay with them and their unfair business practices or give the phone back that I have paid for and start fresh with another carrier with no phone to trade in and pay a higher price. STAY AWAY FROM SPRINT/T MOBILE at all costs.

If I could give no stars I would. I paid a deposit and first month bill. The internet device didn't work and I never got to use the internet. Customer service couldn't help so I was told to send device back and they would refund my money. I was told for weeks my check was on the way. I then had one lady tell me that she was tracking my check to see where it was and how close it was to getting to me but then we got disconnected because I'm sure they hung up on me. I called today and was told that they couldn't find my device and it was past a certain deadline so they would not be refunding my money. I had talked to over 20 people and would lied to and just told what I wanted to hear but in the end they still want me to pay a bill and they also kept the money they were supposed to refund to me. Don't use Sprint

Half a year of a fake promotion. I took on my fathers sprint account when he had passed away in may of 2020 and in the following month when i took ownership they had a promotion of buying a free line for a 1 time payment of 35 or 50 dollars i dont remember exactly which and i of course grabbed it because if someone needed help they could use the free line. IT WASNT A 1 TIME PAYMENT. I have now called almost every month since because instead of paying for my 1 unlimited line of 64 dollars plus my phone lease i was now paying 105 dollars a month because that "free line" i was being charged for every month. Today i call to pay my past 2 bills because apparently my auto pay doesnt work and i cant create a sprint account online and they tell me i must pay 300 dollars and will still owe another almost 200. Do not go with this company. Ever since myfathers death ive done nothing but pay more in money and time to resolve something that should mever had been a problem. Again dont ever go with sprint or t mobile since they merged now. And the only reason i cant upload the money thing on here is because it changed monthly.

I started my contract back in 2018. I made it clear I wanted to own my phone not lease it. I was instructed by March 2020 that i would pay the phone in full for $265 or opt for the monthly payment to buyout the phone. I called them to verify the information. I opted for the monthly buyout. 9months after and I get a message saying I'm still on a lease. I call them to let them know that can't be possible and they said they don't see the information, That I never opted for the monthly, i can either get on 9 month plan(which i already opted for back in March) or upgrade the phone and stay on a contract for 9months. THESE PEOPLE ARE THIEVES!!! they are trained to nickel and dime you. It's disgusting because they are a big company and they can get away with it. The network is rubbish. I use my house internet all the time. DO NOT USE SPRINT. DONT USE TMOBILE EITHER!! THEY'RE BOTH THE SAME.I was on Tmobile and went to sprint. I paid my bill consistently for 2 years and this is what they do. Absolute rip off. I just laid off now they are asking to pay over $400 to get out of the contract meanwhile the contract was 18months (Oct 2018) DISGUSTING!!

Sprint/t-mobile is the worst company to have a cellphone plan with. Their rates are high and you do not get service and the data plan doesn't work. Worst company I ever had. I've been with att&t for 15 years and decided to go to sprint for the phone and plan but I did not get what was advertised and customer service is the worst I've ever experience. No one speak English and understands what im saying I have to go to the corporate office to get my matter handle. For two phones im paying well over $200 and ppl have a plan of 4 paying that much. Im going back to att&t and convinced my whole family to get rid of sprint. My friends are either prepaid or with version or att&t and metro. Better off than sprint. Now t-mobile took over that trash

SERVICE IS TRASH!🤬😡🤬😡 I lose tower connection after disconnecting from wifi, or after driving 15 minutes in any direction. I have to restart my phone 4 times a day to regain connection..once leaving my house, once getting to work, by the time I leave work its disconnected, and I have to restart just connect at home. Its TRASH! If I travel across the state, I have to restart phone JUST TO RECONNECT TO A TOWER IN THE AREA TO USE MY MAPS NAVIGATION!🤬🤬 After over 1 year with Sprint, I realized that this won't ever change! SPRINT IS TRASH🗑🚮🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 I want out of this contract... They told me that they'd lower data and lower the monthly price that's paid...like that's a solution!?!? Cant fix the tower issue, but we can lower your data so you pay less.... no solution, no one cares.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! ----It doesn't just happen to new customers either. I have unfortunately been with them for 18 yrs and I have overlooked some poor experiences, but now this company has pushed me over the edge. I have been waiting for a rebate for 22 weeks and I can't get a straight answer from them about how they will resolve the issue. I can't get them to commit to anything or even a timeline/expectation for a call back. I have to call them every couple of days weeks. Thats right. I would let weeks pass waiting and not knowing what is going on. Then I ask for $100 more than what they offered to me and they said no. My bill is $300 per month. So 1/3 of my monthly bill would have swept this under the rug. Nope that was unacceptable to them. I thought it to be reasonable based on my specific situation. To Sprint it is all give them money and screw you customer if you ever need or ask anything of them that isn't black and white owed in the contract. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AS I HAVE!!

Customer service will send you in circles. Transferred service of a contract to another account. They left remaining balance on my phone. 10 +++++ phone calls, numerous chats, many emails. Paid my portion of bill had my service cut off twice within 5 days after paying my portion that was owed. I was never late with a payment had auto pay. I was literally told 6 different answers. I switched over from tmobile only 2 months ago which i regret TMOBILE is 100% better then sprint. Never had any issues while i was tmobile for 16 years. Was very upset when i heard Tmobile and Sprint were merging. Going to look into Verizon or a different carrier. Also goodluck trying to get in contact if you need help. Took over a hour to get in contact to ask why i was overchargec almost 200$. Which they said they were sorry but couldnt do a refund they would give me 35$ credit to my account. Very upset

Sprint has given me countless headaches. Not only is their customer service atrocious (does not solve any of your problems), the service coverage sucks. Absolutely no transparency when I asked about the spikes in my monthly bill. When I decided to cancel and move to T-Mobile who has already proven their amazing customer service, they decided to hold one of my lines hostage saying it wasn’t unlocked for a T-Mobile sim (even though it was 100% paid off). Then they didn’t want to cancel my line until the next billing cycle which meant I would have to pay for ANOTHER month even though I canceled at the beginning of the month —absolutely joke of a company. No positive things to say at all.

I spoke with Brandon S as he stated regarding my upgrade for my family plan as my son will be in college this year. Unfortunately, your customer service was horrible the rep S did not performer well because there was loud music, Kids loud and tons of breakage within the call. I could not hear much as I stated to S it was loud, he laughed with cause me to be very upset. I am disappointed because I have been with Sprint for over 10 yr. I asked several questions while trying to work with the rep. This was a bad interaction I am very upset. I was then billed wrong on top of that. I want an action taken as by husband Dave has reached out to the head corp.

#1, Sprint.com is a horrible site, it is slow, freezes, makes you jump through hoops to get the simplest answer, and I am very technically savvy. #2, Been a customer for over 10 years, no respect for that, just more charges and scams. #3, Now that T-Mobile has merged, I have had more connection issues, cell phone freezing, dropping calls, can't make calls, can't get to the internet. If I am sitting next to a ATT person or Verizon person, I am the only one who can not access the internet, social media or any platform needed to be used by WiFi #4, The one positive thing I could always say was Sprints customer service was the best, and 99% of the reason I stayed. #5, I've used the online support 2 times in the past week and they always give the can response, call 888- XXXXXX. So you no longer, get the support you use to get online. When I did call the lady spoke hardly any English, I couldn't hear her or understand her and she did NOT address my concern, question. #6, They run you around, don't give you the correct support people. I have been on chat for 20 mins with run around and NOW they want to say "oh you need to speak to this person." Do yourself a favor, go spend the extra money and truly go somewhere else. This merge has been the worse thing that could have happened to Sprint. Now I am being transferred to yet another team...No answer is answered directly anymore... Also be prepared to NOT to be able to get insurance...if you want / need it down the road.

I absolutely hate Sprint. I was a customer for over 8 years with 3 lines using smart phones. Our coverage always had problems and when we her them fix it we were told we had had phones and were sent new ones. Then it was our satellite connection or the towers had to be reset. Always some excuse. Then the problems we're blamed on the merger with T-Mobile. When we were told out prices would remain at $200 even though T-Mobile had the same plan for$100 they would not adjust their prices. So bye Sprint. They refused to unlock our completely paid for phones. This is a nightmare and taking forever to resolve. No one from Sprint will even talk to me when I requested tho speak with a supervisor or manager. I'm on hold now and it's been 1hr...I'm not hanging up until I speak with someone.

Coverage is Not good, during COVID they were nice enough to disconnect my service and then charge me an extra 40 to turn it back on, so they are the company without a heart! I pay 151. a month for 2 phones which after 18 months I can buy for an additional 500. I also put 200 down on them never again my time is nearly up thank God! I will buy a phone at Walmart and pay 45 a month for everything and get far better service. Sprint is horrible they suck you in with 5 lines for 100. I got 2 lines for 151. I will never do business again with them. I am blown away over the fee and disconnect after I was a week late while not working, I paid it the other 12 months. Thank God, my power and gas company did not disconnect me and then charge me during this rough time we are all having but boy, sprint sure had no problem. I wish you had minus stars they don't deserve one.

If no stars were possible, I would probably go with that choice. Service is subpar and their "coverage map" is a joke! Sprint customer service is perhaps the only service that is worse than the actual cell service. There is little to no service in the experience and there is zero accountability within this company. There is no way that if given the same set of circumstances I would choose Sprint again. Their merge with T-mobile is laughable because they have only gotten worse since then. The service is overpriced and subpar. Please for the love of everything do not go with Sprint if you have any other options. Go prepaid before you sign with this company because they do not care about us as customers.

I was advised from many people about this horrible company, but in that morning when I was getting a service for my car, the agent who was selling SPRINT phones and services caught me on a conversation, saying that Sprint was merging with T Mobile in 2 months. That was in December 2018 and today is April 2020. They tricked, scammed and lied to me. I am still waiting for the promised, assured, merging. The only reason I signed up to them was because I saw a big advantage having so many towers covering services here in San Diego and in Tijuana, Mx. Where I go visit all the time. The lady who sold to me seemed very assured of what she was selling, experienced and trust worthy. For sure an amazing sales pitch to be able to make my mind to sign up with such great company with so bad reputation. Lesson learned. They are deceiving and lie about what they offer to get clients. They got me. The representatives tell you lies every single time you call. They literally make up stories. They make you wait for a long time on the phone for the simplest questions you have and overcharge amounts you had no idea they would be changing you. They are scammers. In this last year and 4 months, I experienced the worst signal here in USA and Mexico. the worst costumer service ever, very high bills. I got stuck with this company since I had gotten a newer phone and just now the lease is over and I am able to own the phone and move on to another company. Don't let this terrible company have your business you will regret greatly.

I called to cancel my account. I got hung up on the first time with a rude representative named Gilmore telling me to pay what’s left on my account first, he had a horrible attitude. He hung up on me after I asked please hold. I then call back and explain my situation and get transferred over to the cancelation dept to a rep named Raymond. The conversation started smooth then quickly escalated after he pressured me to stay with sprint and I denied due to no longer having need it anymore. He then goes on a condescending manner saying, “yeah looks you’ve had a lot of past dues.” What? Super rude and tried to get into my business asking why did you have so many past dues etc... I then explained my situation which I did not have too! It is my own business?! Raymond then goes on still trying to convince me to stay and after I said no he went ahead treated me so disrespectfully and had the worst snob attitude, (I’m better than you type of attitude) and ask I proceeded to ask a question he says “have a great day” and hangs up on me. This is sooooo beyond on me. I have been a customer with sprint since 2011. I kept paying monthly for the past 3 years even though I didn’t even use my lines with sprint and I went over to AT&T. Because of my loyalty to Sprint. The customer service I received from RAYMOND from cancellation depts is BEYOND me and I’ve never had such a disrespectful experience as such with any other company. I am baffled and appalled at the manner of his condescending tone and how he made me feel so belittled because I am choosing to have one less bill to pay during the pandemic COVID19. I commend all supervisors to look into this at Sprint. The number one reason to having good relations with customers is respecting their choices and being understanding and non judgemental. This conversation with Raymond felt like I was being BULLIED in high school. I am beyond taken back with Sprint and the people they have working at their call centers. Completely disgusted.

We have been with Sprint for 16 years, over the past two days I have tried to nake payment arrangements as myself and husband are not working due to the pandemic. They threatened to turn off my service or I zero out my bill, mind you these phones keeps us connected to our daughters and parents who are on the plan we pay for during normal circumstances. After about 10 people 2 days they took the last money I had in my account cause they knew I was in gear of not having conatct with my kids. Needless to say Im broke for the next two weeks, no, food, no money nothing. As soon as our contracts are up we leaving the greedy, unethical company called Sprint

This network is worthless. It works maybe half the time. Here within the last 3 weeks I have had more calls dropped than completed. I am paying for internet that is nonexistent. And when I call customer service, the only phrases they know how to say in English is "I understand that, ma'am" and "I am so sorry to here that, ma'am". Not to mention we ordered used Note 8 phones (because we couldn't afford brand new phones) and they sent us new Note 9 phones. We were told we were going to have the used Note 8 price of $35/month, but we are paying the price of $185/month! I told them we could not afford a phone bill over $250/month and they have us paying them $430/month!!! I am so far beyond fed up with this company. When we get our phones paid off we are taking them to a different carrier. I have never experienced such atrocious customer service!

It's so discouraging and disappointing to write this review. However the reps in this store have horrible customer service particularly a guy by the name of Geo. My grandfather went into the store to do a change of ownership. This guy talked him into porting the line out to att & then had him come back to open up 4 new lines that he didn't need that weekend trackers saying that it would make his bill "cheaper". The cause my grandpa such distress as he didn't have access to his original phone line that he uses for work and missed tons of work related calls. Going back into the store to have Geo help him to get the line back. He got so mad went into the back office for about 30-40 minutes saying he was going to get a manger to help. Manager never came. He came out and left out the store to sit in his car for im guessing a lunch break. My grandpa sat there for 2 hrs until the store closed Without anyone ever coming to assist him with this issue. Geo than came back in at closing time and told him to come back in the morning once the store opened and he would personally go to get him a SIM card to help get his number back. My granpa desperately trying to recover his number agreed to come back and did just that only to find out that Geo called off and was not coming in. Wow he was so discouraging as a customer service rep. Rude, disrespectful, & took advantage if the elderly by selling him products that he didn't have a clue about and opening new lines that he did not need. If I can rate him at 0 I would we resolved the issues but it wasn't at this store with all there terrible customer service. In Inglewood ca century and Crenshaw.

We had Sprint for many years. We attempted to sign up for a new plan to save money. It was a very frustrating experience as one service representative would tell us one thing and another representative would tell us another. In a nutshell, we were told we weren't qualified for this plan or that plan, then they'd try to talk us into a different plan. So, we shopped and picked a new provider. Then, we had significant problems getting Sprint to unlock our phones to transfer service. Sprint kept putting us off and finally sent us to a store for help. At the store, we were told the store wasn't a "real" Sprint store and we would have to call Sprint again, which we did. We then got the run around again saying they couldn't unlock the account for another 30 days for some billing reason. Then, Sprint kept trying to sell us another plan. We spoke with a supervisor and told her how frustrated we were. She said a manager would give us a call in 24 to 48 hours. We never received a call. Sprint finally unlocked our phones so we could change to the new provider. This process took many calls, many delays, wasted time traveling to what we were told was a Sprint store. I think we were with Sprint 14 years and spent $320 per month for four lines. You would think they would have been more helpful and reasonable.

Worst phone company ever. Please do not give anything if you are not 100% sure that you want it. We have trade an iPhone 8, and we just lost it. After talking with executive manager Mari she personally has decided to delete a replacement option of an iPhone 7 that her team has given to us because we were asking for our iPhone 8 value. This turned into something personal. Now we do not have any phone and their only solution within the 30 days of prove offered was a value of $105 for an iPhone 8. What kind of company does this? I have never seen anything like this before. All is a trap, it is no worth the change at all.

This is my review for Sprint cell phone services my husband and I stayed in contact with Sprint customer service within the last 3 months letting them know that we needed to suspend our phone line and would be making a payment later. We contacted Sprint customer service three to five times within that three months just to touch base with him and let them know when we would be making a payment. Today we call them to make a payment and get our cell phone turned back on and the women we spoke to at the customer service office for Sprint told us they had sent our Sprint bill to a collection agency the price was over $100. That meant they never suspended the line they would just listen to us and not do anything we'd asked or anything they said they do then after speaking with the woman today ask to speak with her supervisor 4 times and still never got through to her supervisor we ended up hanging up and deciding to go with a different cell phone company Sprint cell phone service is the worst cell phone service the worst customer service I have ever dealt with in my life they're rude and foreign. People do not go with Sprint you will regret it.

lies and tricks to get you into their contract. was told my mo. bill would be no more than $150. got my first three bills of $250 which then after dropped to around$190. complained to customer service after a year (when i realized the bill, they set me up with autopay). CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS! I do not know where they are located but they DO NOT comprehend my English language!! I was going back and forth with the same person for about two hours and still got NO WHERE. I got frustrated and just gave up. Their service sucks. I have little to NO service where i live. There's times where my internet goes down for several hours. Their internet is SLOW. I wish i could go back and not get this contract.

I would give them a negative 10 if I could. WE switched from Verizon to Sprint.....HUGE MISTAKE. Service is awful, customer service is not in the USA unless you go to a store and they are as clueless. We couldn't get into our new account because of a mistake made at the store of purchase...that went on for over 3 weeks. They would tell us we owed them money when we had just made monthly payment, couldn't see what they were talking about . We have not been able to see any credits or what package we purchased when we were at the store. I never had drop calls ever with my IPhone with Verizon, we have brand new Iphones and the service is horrible. Clarity of conversations are terrible, if you go into a building or certain rooms you either lose service or its so jarbled you can't understand the person. I could go on and on. My family and friends do not like to call us anymore because its is a bad experience.

Horrible customer service! I have the Sprint flex lease and decided to upgrade both my iPhone 8’s to iPhone 11 pros to do this Sprints own website said I needed to “pay this amount ($50.66) to upgrade today”. I paid $50.66 twice to upgrade each phone, then the following month I paid the upgrade $30 fees and the taxes. The month after that (2 months after turning in my old phones and having my new phones sprint sends me my next bill for over $400 because they are charging me for 2 more month of my iPhone 8’s that I already paid for at the time I upgraded. I called Sprint and got nothing but random answers that made no sense first it was because I didn’t pay for the 2 months left on my lease to upgrade after pointing out the $50.66 I HAD to pay because their web site makes you pay the lease before upgrade they changed their reasoning to taxes because I’m in California I then pointed out I already paid all the taxes on my last bill so they said it was my upgrade fees so told them to again check my last Bill because I paid that too. At this point they had zero answers to the extra $100 they are charging me except to just “assure me” they bill was correct with absolutely no answer for what the $100 plus extra charge was for. I will NEVER recommend or stay with Sprint, once my lease is up I’m gone to any other company.

I signed up with sprint in Feb of 2019 because I wanted unlimited service at what was supposed to be significantly less than I was paying for 4G with 2 phones on Verizon. Ive had to return my s10+ twice because of connection issues. Btw, their service really is bad, Connection is usually non existent no matter where I am. Ive had to sit on the phone with sprint for at least an hour at least once a month because of either connection issues or billing issues. Each month since exchanging my phone, my bill keeps going up. I am now paying way more than I was with V. Ive also been into several stores to resolve issues, Each person in store and on phone assures me they know what theyre doing and I won't have any problems after this call. They are always wrong. I have screamed and cried to try and get things resolved. They just can't do it. They are all incompetent. If I were rich and didnt mind losing $1000 I would pay for phones and get out. Unfortunately I have more than a year to still go. I hate them so much..The worst I've ever dealt with, and I'm 52, so I've been around a while. Did I mention how much I hate them? Once I'm done with Sprint I will be going back to V. I had them for about 15 yrs and rarely if at all had a problem. I just think they are really expensive. Guess its worth it, I can't take this aggravation with Sprint much longer. I would love to just drop off all phones tell them to cancel me and let them try and sue for what they think I owe them. That's how bad it is. NEVER NEVER NEVER go with Sprint. Now that I’ve done what I was told to do, the executive agent is on extended leave and I can’t get anyone to help me with this now. Still showing balance of over $1100, it should be 0. Just so so awful.

RUN BY MONKEYS I decided to leave my carrier of 5 yrs to try Sprint's new deals. I placed an order, but because the agent made a mistake i had to place a second order. A couple of days pass and then i decide to check on my order. A sprint agent, mistakenly, tells me that none of my orders have been sent. after 3 tries he tells me that he made a mistake and on the 4th try he confirms that one of my orders has been shipped but that the 2nd one hasnt even been placed for shipping. The agent, on his own will cancels my 2nd order, i then asked to speak to a superior, the superior starts up by saying i cancelled my own order, takes his sweet long time to answer me when he feels like, provides no help, no answer, no solution. I couldnt proceed with such irrationality. I had already made my decision to cancel everything. But hrs later, i decided to give it a last chance, the new agent tells me that he can reactivate the order and that instead of shipping it out i can just pick up at store. I asked him if i would need anything to be able to just show up and pick up a device from a store without having any issues. the agent said that i wouldnt, since he would put everything in the system. But before ending conversation, i asked him to send me an email confirming such info, he said i would get the email after the chat,.... surprise, i didnt. I show up to the store next day trying to claim the device, and i was told that such thing is not possible and that those agents online were lying to my face and that my order actually showed flagged. And the most ridiculous part, they dont send you an email or no sort of notification whatsoever to let you know the status of your order after you have placed it and paid for it. They will let you deal with their horrifying mistakesThey asked me for verification for what i was saying, but of course, i didnt have it. im cancelling everything and this was to be my 1st ever time trying sprint, no sprint assures me, why i should keep staying away from them. Sprint is run by monkeys!

I switched from Verizon to Sprint and only had the plan for for a week. Once the phone came in I only used it for 1 day. I only went to sprint because my job was part of the sprint perks were I would get a discount. I called and signed up and asked for the cheapest plan. The guy made sooo many mistakes. He misspelled my name and then added on numerous ad ons that spikes my plan. I made the guy repeat numerous times that my plan with tax would be under 70$ and he assured me it would be. Turns out he signed me up for an expensive plan that would be around 80 a month. Also since he misspelled my name I would have to go into a store to fix it. He sent me an email that said to change my name I would have to submit my license. He charged me a 103$ down payment and when I finally got my phone in the mail it came broken. I also was told that I had to call the customer service line to get the discount. The email I was sent about the discount said to take it to the store. I took it to a sprint store and was told they can’t do anything, she told me to call. My phone bill was showing my first bill as 154$. The woman at the store assured me that it was a mistake and then proceeded to tell me that if I decide to cancel my plan I had to call, not do it there. I called sprint the next day and was told that the first guy was wrong and I learned that the price he quoted me was not anywhere close. I was told it would be 64-68$ total. She said it was 75-80$ a long and then proceeded to tell me that to get the discount I had to do the top plan and my plan didn’t qualify. I literally called to get sprint just because of the discount and the man assured me I would get it. I decided that this point to cancel everything. I asked for a refund and was told I have to go into a store. I literally went through 6 different people before I drove all the way to a corporate store and had to stand in line for 2 hours. I was also told that they have to mail me a check they can’t put it back on my card. I wasted my only 2 days off dealing with this company. I’ve never been so disgusted with a company. I’ve decided to stick with Verizon. Don’t go with sprint, no one would give me an accurate price and no one knows what to do. Even at the corporate store I had to wait for the manager who was helping 3 different people at once. Sprint is a scam, they will take your money and waste your time. I regret trying to switch, and hope no else has to deal with them.

100% Unsatisfied New Customer Experience Being a new customer with Sprint, in a 2-week span I noticed that the previous wireless company I had provided me with 4G internet speed on my phone, but with Sprint my internet speed downgraded to 3G. So slow that at times I cannot even access my GPS application on my phone. I tried troubleshooting the problem over the phone with no positive results. I then tried to upgrade my phone to see if that would resolve the issue, and I was told I did not qualify. Needless to say, I have wasted countless hours on the phone with management with absolutely no solution to my issue. Having worked in the wireless industry in the past, we would have "Never" let this issue escalated to this point, especially when you bring 5 new lines to a new company, like in my case. I've been a month and a half now with Sprint, and I am already exploring new wireless services with other companies due to the fact that it has clearly been a one-sided relationship with Sprint.

I was a client for 9 years. Honestly i want to tell everyone thinking about this company to run and find a better option. This company survives month to month based on deceits and lies. It steals from its customers, lies and provides no way out. They lied to me 3 times and over the 9 years and i consistantly looked the other way, however the fourth is the last time. I own 5 lines on this company and as of 1/7/19 i am looking for a better company. I am also looking into a class action lawsuit against sprint for illegaly and without my permission opening a new line on my account. They violated a contract and only offered a way out after i satted i was heading to small claims court. This is not ok on any level. Looking forward to seeing them in court.

Sprint gets no stars. MY 23 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER DIED ON AUGUST 10, 2019 I contacted Sprint and gave them a copy of the death certificate. Since August SPRINT CONTINUES TO TAKE MONEY OUT OF MY ACCOUNT EVEN THOUGH I CALL EVERY MONTH and have to relive the horrific experience to some Sprint customer service person who does nothing to help me. In fact, this month they took more than the agreed contract amount. Furthermore, the company has taken advantage of my situation as I am grieving the loss of my child. I never thought such a company would have absolutely no social or professional conscience. HIGHLY DISGUSTED WITH THIS COMPANY'S UNETHICAL CONDUCT.

I purchase a phone in October 2019.They had the promotion of $100 Walgreens gift card, I didn't get the card later they say because I change my plan after a month, now I didn't qualify. There was mo mention of all of this when I bought the phone, this was told after waiting weeks for card. First they said I would get it then said no. Then they charge me more than I should have been charged twice. They gave me a small credit but not sufficient. Customer service is awful! They never get anything correct! I finally went to a store and a young man name Marc A help me and he did an excellent job!! He has been the only bright spot in having this phone from Sprint!! If I could change service without penalty I would! Stay away from this company until they learn what they are doing!!!

ABSOLUTE worst company I ever had to deal with. Hands down the absolute worst and their customer support is a laughable joke. Had sprint for 10 days , and it was the worst service I ever experienced. On day 1 I had 75% of my calls get dropped and my internet speed was .40MBPS (even my iMessages wouldn’t send) I called into customer service on day 1 of having sprint and a tower was down in my area and it was gonna be 3-5 days before they got it fixed. I understood that and gave them a chance . On day 8 , I called again and they said the tower was up and running fine but my calls would continue to get dropped and internet speed jumped to a whopping .78 mbps I gave it 2 more days and it only got worse. I returned the phone and cancelled everything on their “30 day satisfaction guarantee” yeah that was a joke. I first was told I would get all my money back in 3-5 business day. It’s now about 20 business days an entire month and they can’t seem to refund me my money. But it got worse. After 14 days of cancelling everything they charged me $120 for no apparent reason and nobody knows why and they ALSO cannot return that apparently . It’s been over a month , I have 3 open cases and still no return. JOKE OF A COMPANY BUYERS PLEASE BEWARE OF. THIS COMPANY IS CROOKED AS IT GETS

I have been with Sprint for a long time. I went to switch phones for a black Friday special. Everything went great switching over and no problems with sprint workers. But I switched phones on November 30th. I was told I had to call sprint customer service to cancel my old phone which I did. Since I canceled it at the beginning of December I was told I had to keep my old plan for my old phone the entire month of December and was charged for both phones in December. I was also told I got a promotion for a galaxy watch that was supposed to be half off but was then told it takes a few months for promotion to activate. I'm will not be going back to sprint after my 18 month. I wonder if Verizon charges customers for phones they dont use.

I have been with Sprint for 1 week and I am DONE with them! I was with Verizon before and I thought their service was bad.....boy was I wrong! With Sprint my internet barely works and I can barely make a call from my home. I NEVER had a problem making a call with Verizon. Sprint has the "Magic Box" that is supposed to boost you signal but they keep giving me the run around. I called to order my 1st one Nov 28th and the lady said she would have it overnighted to me so I should see it Friday the 30th. It didn't show up. I called Dec 1st and they had no record of it being sent so they apologized and said we'll overnight one to you. This one showed up but the unit is faulty. So after a bunch of time spent with worthless technical support that didn't call back like they promised I again had to call them and complain. Again I got an apology and "we'll overnight one to you". Guess what? It should have been here today and nothing shows up again! I'm so frustrated with Sprint right now. I think tomorrow I will take all this new stuff back to Sprint and return it. The other bad thing is all the Black Friday deals are over and I gambled on Sprint. Now I'll have to go back to Verizon and pay hundreds more than I would have last week just because I tried the wrong wireless company. Sprint sounded like a great deal but their service absolutely sucks!!!

Sprint has been the worst. company I have ever had to deal with. I would give them 0 stars if it was an option. they offered promotions when we first signed that "expired" and we were never told they expired. if ever spoken to on the phone they were always short and never any help with explaining or helping us understand the bill. this is why we switched to Verizon, we were explain everything about our bill before we signed, had wonderful customer service, and Verizon has made us so happy in the short time we have been with them. the bill is only about $10 more per person but is well worth the money to get the new phone, unlimited service, and much better customer service. they even offered an inconvenience credit when we had issues getting our phones and bill right. sprint has never offered this nor given a first time fee waived. they come up with charged ive never seen on any other network and are no help when we had issues with our phones, service, or bill. BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD!

They are thieves and liars! We signed up for a plan that was for up to 5 lines for $100 a month. Plus the payments on the phones which would take 24 months and we would own them. We actually only put 3 lines/3 phones on the plan. Our bill was around $210 every month but when we got our phones paid off we were to pay only the $100 a month. Well lo and behold after 18mo our bill mysteriously increased to $350 a month. Excuse me!? We can not understand for the life of us why the increase no matter how many times we call and they tell us “the charges are valid”. Now that’s it been 24 months we want to own our phones like they said and go to another company. They say we were only leasing our phones and we don’t own them. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!???!!! They have robbed us hand over fist and now are stealing our phones that we have MORE than paid for. Whatever you do DO NOT SIGN UP WITH SPRINT! PS They’re service is also pretty spotting. I drop calls all the time:-(

Ever since I upgraded my phone in Sprint store in Cali in 2017, I have had nothing but problems. 1st of all the leases were put on the wrong phones. 2nd after the fires in 2017 one of the phones burned in the fire along with my family's house and they continued to charge me for 4 phones when I only had 3. 3rd my bills have increased from 180 to 351. Because they are always finding some way to get more $$$ from me. I have called and chatted with customer service for years and all they do is mess things up more!!! I ask them to make changes to my bill to lower the monthly bill but guess what it never truly gets lowered. So apparently my bill is 174 without taxes, with taxes it 211, I'm still paying a ton of money for nothing but horrible reception and horrible cell service and the most horrific customer service I have dealt with. Their "taxes" is just their way of secrecy stealing more from you. I'm done with Sprint!!!!!!!!!!!!

sprint is the worst company, the reps don't know what they are talking about.I wanted to put another phone on my account, and one of the reps said ok so she activated the phone to my account, but found out that the sims card was not working for my phone so she said to go to a sprint store and get another sims cards. So that's what i did i went to five sprint stores and every sprint store said they did not have a sims card for that phone. So they said call sprint and they will mail a sims card to you,so the next day i called sprint customer service and about 1 hour on being on the phone with them they finally came to the conclusion that their was no sims card for that phone any more, and that their was nothing they can do for me.so number 1 how can they add the phone without the sims card, and two why did they first tell me i can use that phone. So thanks sprint know i am paying for a phone bill and i don't even have a phone that is working.
