My loyalty to #Sprint was based on the customer service I received when their call centers were primarily in the Southeastern US (NC). I've been with them 13 years now - which is a lifetime in cell provider years. They've made their website too complex and splashy to find any information or I would DIY. They have restricted their chat representatives to a point of ineptitude. Every time I have to call I cringe - because it is always someone in a busy call center in India. Enough. I work in the customer service industry also - I have high standards. I don't mind if someone is new - but I DO mind if I can't perform a simple task like cancelling a line or changing my service plan. I have maintained my plan with them out of loyalty - even though Verizon provides better service in the rural area I live in. I'm done with Sprint. Done. Done. Done. Ugh.

So today I find out that Sprint wants to go ahead and move forward with a "self service" way of doing things. Which means they DO NOT wanna talk to their customers. I was calling to switch the day to an earlier day my bill could be paid. The automated system gave me no option to go talk to a customer service rep. Now call me old school but I like to talk to an actual person! Rather then a dumb automated system. So I got hung up on twice by the automated system because I kept pressing 0 for customer service. So FINALLY I did a bunch of options and it lead me to the customer service. I told the girl my experience with the automated system and she apologized for the hard time. But her voice said it all that she DID NOT care about the way I felt. Then I told her the reason why I was calling. She wanted money upfront! Now keep in mind I do not get paid till this Friday which is a few days. So basically she says to me that I don't need to pay if I go through the automated system and that she couldn't help me unless I pay! WHAT??? Does this make sense to anyone!!!! You don't have to pay going through the automated system but have to pay if you go through a rep! Is this not the stupidest bunch of crap! I told her how stupid that sounded and she said "noted" Now I've been with this company for at least 10 YEARS! And within the past year this company has gone down the tubes! Something needs to be done about sprint. If I was in charge I would make a one touch to option to talk to a rep. Then I would do the same stradegy for both talking to someone and an automated system. Why do two different sets of plans and the way to go about business?? Needless to say I am NOT happy with sprint and would love to do nothing more then switch my carrier! Don't go to sprint! I'd rather have T mobile!! Chris R

I have been with Sprint for approximately 12 years. They used to be really good but that has definitely changed. One month my bill would be $180.00 then the next month it might be $220.00. They have so many different hidden fees and charges it's unreal. I leased a Galaxy S5 two years ago. They charged me an extra $20.00 per month for the lease. My lease just ended and they wanted me to pay an additional $200.00 to purchase the phone outright or turn it back in. What a ripoff. Walmart had a brand new Galaxy S5 for $199.00 for the Straight Talk service. That was definitely a no brainer. Straight Talk is better in every aspect. Coverage, price and customer service. I have one phone still under a contract with Sprint. When the contract ends in August I'll finally be done with Sprint for good. They charge you $350.00 early termination fee. That's the only reason I haven't switched my daughters phone already. Sprints customer service is a joke.

I had been a Sprint customer since 2001. In 2016 I had a stroke and could not pay my bills. While I was in the hospital friends and family paid over $300 on my phone bill. By the time I left the hospital I owed Sprint less than $30 and my phone was no longer under contract with them. It had been paid off for about six months and I chose to stay with Sprint. However, Sprint terminated my service for that less than $30 that I owed them! I called customer service and no one was willing to work with me although I had been a customer for years! I honestly think it's because I didn't want to buy a new phone and start a new contract with them at the time. But, as I said, I had just had a stoke and I had no income. I think it's awful that they would treat a loyal customer that way!

We switched to Sprint because of a friend but we are so glad they have merged with TMobile. We had been loyal happy customers of TMobile for years but switched due to a "deal". Coverage with Sprint was spotty at best. The only thing Sprint had down was good customer service. Now, since the merger, we have good customer service with the connectivity of TMobile.

I've been a customer for about 20 years. They have had reps that have not been truthful but if you are in the right their managers will typically work with you and make the situation right. You may have to fight a little to get a fair resolution but in the end they have done what's right and fair with me.

My family plan currently use Sprint and I believe it is the economical choice of providers. I find the cellular data and connection is somewhat spottier than other providers in the area, but it is cheaper to make up for it. You get what you pay for, and for me waiting a couple extra seconds for something to send or load in some areas is worth it.

I went with Sprint since their rates were cheaper than the other big names. However I didn’t realize they had stores in areas where the service is extremely spotty. If I leave the WiFi zone in my house, I have no coverage at all. I can’t even get on google. For the past 7 years I’ve been told new towers were going up. Yet no difference in cell reception. I live in Fontana and work in LA. And it works fine in LA where I use it the most.

Sprint may not have had the best cell reception until they combined with T-Mobile and that is why I left Sprint after many years... but, unlike others, their billing was always nearly the same. One thing I didn't like about Sprint was that once an agent told me that I could get a free Sprint tablet with no monthly payment because of my outstanding record which ended up being false. Sprint's answer to that is that they are not responsible for their agent's making a mistake. It took me nearly 6 month to get that mess cleaned up

I have the iPhone X, XR, 11 Pro Max, and Apple Watch on my plan. 2 lines are unlimited basic and 1 unlimited premium that includes Tidal, Amazon, and Hulu basic subscription. My monthly bill is around $340.00. I have been with Sprint for over 6 years. Once my phones are paid off, I will cancel. They offer no loyalty discounts on bill and they are not giving me the promotion they promise for leasing two iPhones at the same time

I tried a number of suggestions from customer service to enhance my coverage, but nothing seemed to work. I liked the price and packages they offered, but it just wasn't worth it because of the poor coverage.

Sprint has been an affordable but not entirely reliable cell service provider, in our experience. We very often, while driving through rural areas not even an hour away from the nearest city, will have "no bars" or have to resort to roaming. But otherwise, it has done the job and doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

Sprint and I are not friends. About 4 months ago my family and I switched over to Sprint for our cellphone provider. Let's just say it has been rough. Almost every call that I make will go in and out and a number of them it says it call, but it never is... This needs to change! Make sure to find out if your area has good connection before buying. Not the most highly recommended.

My bill is cheaper than with AT&T but my coverage isn’t as good. I drop calls in places that I never dropped calls before. For me the coverage is good enough for the cheaper bill. Also the HULU every month is nice. However, when I signed up I was promised several perks and then customer service wouldn’t hold up even though I had paperwork saying otherwise. Very frustrating.

I grew up in a rural town in southern Utah, and for many years Sprint was the company that we used. However, there were countless times calls were dropped, or just never came through. As far as texting and other internet services, it does fine, but when it comes to actual conversations, if you don't live within close proximities of a cell phone tower, I would not recommend sprint!

We switched to Sprint a couple of years ago because it was so much cheaper than our other provider. The customer service at the store was good and they set us up fairly quickly and seamlessly. The one thing we haven't liked is the data speed. Even though we have "unlimited" data, it is often so slow it doesn't work and we have to connect to wifi. I think Sprint needs to stop selling themselves as a discount provider and move into the mainstream with average prices but much better service.

I was with Sprint for a couple years and as the years passed on fees kept getting added on and family plan became the only option for a good deal. But to where I was a single at the time it was useless to me. I kept getting charged for textin and internet but my plan clearly stated I had unlimited. When I went into the store to show my proof the guy was not helpful and lacked customer service. I eventually had to speak with the manager and once everything g was settled I got my refund and left Sprint.

I had this when I lived in NJ and it was Sprint/Nextel. I didn't keep it very long because boy do they like to shut your service off the day after your bill is due if they have not received payment, even when you call to make payment arrangements. My phone was constantly being turned off, when I literally would make payment arrangements to pay that same week the bill was due, on my payday. I finally got fed up and went to another carrier.

I am a customer of Sprint form last 10 years, now a days sprint service is so horrible after becoming the T-mobile. They will tell you big dollar promotion price but when you upgrade, you will get nothing and will be end up paying hundreds of dollar bill. If you are sprint customer then do not upgrade phone, easy way is to buy unlocked phone. I am calling Sprint every month to adjust my bill from last 6 months. There is nothing to like about sprint/tmobile. Since they teamed up, sprint does not migrate you fully to Tmobile. They do this to continue to charge you more for their services. It is like trying to chew your leg off to be fully migrated. I have been paying much more with out being migrated fully to T mobile. The people that you chat with apparently do not have full comprehension of the English language either.

We have had so much trouble with Sprint. They are absolutely awful. Lost trade ins that they never apply to your account and just like that, you are out $400. No recourse. Just the run around. On 5 separate occasions, I was told that the call center couldn't help me and to go to the store. The store couldn't help me because it wasn't a corp location so off to another store. That store can't help you, you have to call into Sprint customer service. Never ending circles of being jerked around. The worst. Believe the reviews you see here and run far away.
