I like the online interface for Verizon and it has been helpful in adjusting my contracts and plans. Verizon is expensive and by far the largest utility cost in my budget. However, their service is reliable and in the area I live in they are only service that works.

Verizon has solid service in areas where AT&T and T-Mobile don’t, as theIr towers are concentrated in the Urban Areas. So, Verizon is definitely the phone of choice in more remote areas or areas that are not cosmopolitan. My family uses them.

When we first got Verizon they were very pleasant to work with. However lately it’s been difficult to be able to talk with a representative and they leave me on hold for excessive amounts of time. Overall it’s been alright, but there could be some improvements from their customer service.

We have been Verizon customers for about 15 years. Their customer service is generally good, there are times when you are on hold for 10 minutes or so. We have never had another carrier to judge them by.

I was with this company when it was alltel and change to Verizon...over 10 years. When I decided to close my account it was because of my bill. My phone bill every month was at least $300. My bill is always paid on time. When I went to closed the account... they tried to send me a bill months after cancellation date. It took me SIX months for them to acknowledge that I did not owe anything.

While I am happy to have FIOs internet, and I enjoy my Verizon cellular coverage, I hate any-and-all forms of cable. And FIOS is just as bad as any of the others in this regard. The Verizon phone plans are also a pain to navigate. Overall, they provide a great service, but I do not appreciate their business practices.
