I went and upgraded my kids phones ,I was told it would be 190.00 /mth I have other stuff on here as well . I got my bill it was 229.00 called up the help center no help went up to the store ,talked to a guy I always deal with said it will come down. This month I got my bill 220.00 Called up and he told me he would call me back , that was arnd200,its now 1100 and still waiting.. I want what I was quoted at or I guess they can cancel my service and I've been with them for about 20 yrs.Not a Happy camper

My experience was real bad, the assistant gave me the instructions bas and I could not use my Verizon during a cruise but I was charged for $100.00 dollars, and when I went to the office another assistant without costumer service triaging treat me as if I was illiterate and told me that if I did not pay the bill my service was going to be cut was so rude that ZI prefer to come back home and pay it because I need your service, but you need to train your employees

Verizon coverage was getting sketchy and I signed up with another carrier. Called Verizon and told them I was dropping/cancelling my account with them immediately and to send me a final bill. Paid the bill in full when it came. Got another bill from them and paid it in full again figuring maybe there were residual charges after canceling. Called Verizon again to verify I canceled/was canceling account. Note: I did not owe any money for a phone or anything. Apparently Verizon will not let you go as they continued to bill me, even after notifying me that they were disconnecting me for not paying any more bills. All this time I was using a different carrier. I am a little stubborn when it comes to extortion. They turned me over to a collection agency and of course this affected my credit rating. Some online research reveals this to normal practice for Verizon. Prologue: After a long time I get notices from that they "want me back"! It will be a cold day in (an evil place) before I ever deal or recommend Verizon.

I've been with Verizon about 20 yrs. I have never received good service from them. The customer support is a major hassle to contact. I could call them today with an issue, and I would get an answer however true or false. I could call tomorrow and ask the same question, have the same issue, to the same department and get a different answer, non of which I found to be helpful. I think the appearance of their customer service located at malls is deplorable and so is the behavior. So one might ask, why do you stay with them so long. I stay with them because I've been with them for so long, I'm too lazy to change, but eventually something will not set right with me and I will walk away as quickly as I signed up with them.

They were expensive & really restrictive when it came to phones that you could use. I felt like by the time you paid off your phone, it would need to be replaced or wouldn't work properly. Didn't feel like I got good service & it would always take forever to get help at the storefront.

Great service overall, albeit a bit pricey, I think you have to pay a little extra for excellent service. I wish they offered existing customers free phones like they do new customers. Loyalty should count for something.

Verizon recommended a Samsung phone to me as a new phone. Sales person told me amazing things about it. After using the phone for less than 6 months, it started acting up. It would call the wrong person when tapping the name in contacts. Call merge didn't work if the person didn't pick up. Verizon wouldn't switch the phone out and said it was my responsibility to do the research on the phone not the sales person. Impossible to do research on a new phone and they pushed it to me. Samsung didn't warranty either. Match made in heaven.

It use to be nice when you could upgrade to a new phone with out selling a whole lot of cash. They have done away with that. Also they give no importance to the loyal customers who have been with them for years. All the deals go to the new customers. However they do have the best cell service for reception in the area.

Wait times to talk to someone are incredibly long. Inconsistency in representatives...some don't know answers to questions and are but that helpful and have you on the line for 30 minutes, others can get you in and out with the same issues in 5 minutes. I like getting on the line with those reps but it's always hit or miss.

The service for Verizon has been decent over the years. When 5G came out it was advertised as the best network so far. My wife has an iPhone XR and 80% of the time, she has better service than my brand new iPhone 12 Pro. 5G isn't as great as they advertised.

I was a long time customer who finally got tired of their customer service. Their cell service was excellent but way too expensive so I switched to another carrier for far less money and who ironically uses Verizon. When I tried to cancel my account I spent hours on hold and then disputed my last statement. I have FICO score of 831 and Verizon turned me over to debt collection agency. So much for loyalty and gratitude!

When I had verizon phone service a few years ago, it cost me more than my reported bill, they added on charges like texting, which they said my phone service did not have, I found out later that my phone was not allowed to text, I did not like their attitude, they had hidden charges, that I was charged for. I terminated their services, I went to a bonafide phone company and have stayed. It has been quite length of time since I had verizon, I do not remember the financial out go but I do know it was more than I could afford the premiums. I did not pay any fees to use their service, I just did not like their monthly phone charges, I could not afford their charges, so I changed phone company.
