The Good

  • Family of Brands
  • Travel Accommodations
  • Navigation
  • Hotel Guidebook

Family of Brands

For over 20 years, Priceline has cultivated and evolved its travel booking service to keep travelers coming back as often as possible. The company's family of brands includes Booking.com, Kayak, Agoda.com, Rentalcars.com, and OpenTable, just to name a few. As part of The Priceline Group, Priceline travelers can expect to see results comprised of information from thousands of booking sites.

Travel Accommodations

Priceline seeks to give its customers as much freedom as possible by allowing them to name their preferred price and bid for their trip accommodations. Travelers can book the following through Priceline's platform:

  • Hotels
  • Flights
  • Rental cars
  • Vacation packages
  • Cruises

Navigation

Priceline has made it so that its platform is easy to navigate, offers some of the best deals in the industry, and gives travelers the "low down" on each vacation and travel package that is offered on its website. Consumers can search for vacation options by destination or star rating in order to quickly find what they are looking for.

Hotel Guidebook

One of the best services offered by Priceline is its hotel guidebook, which helps travelers understand the features and services that they will receive from each hotel that they are considering.

The Bad

  • Pricing Discrepancies
  • Limited Foreign Listings
  • Travel Insurance Concerns

Pricing Discrepancies

There are some discrepancies in terms of pricing that Priceline customers should be aware of. For instance, resort fees are not included in bidding, which means that even if a customer gets a hotel deal on Priceline, they could be subject to additional resort fees of $25 or more. This obscure part of its terms of services could greatly inflate travel prices for customers who purchase a stay at a hotel or resort.

Limited Foreign Listings

For American consumers looking to travel internationally, Priceline is not the optimum first choice due to its limited offerings for out-of-country accommodations. Priceline's foreign vacation deals are limited to the following destinations:

  • Puerto Rico
  • The Caribbean
  • The Bahamas
  • Cancun

Travel Insurance Concerns

While Priceline does offer travel protection, there are some concerns about this feature. For example, the company's travel protection coverage is not available outside of the United States. Although Priceline does a nice job of meeting the needs and interests of those traveling within the U.S., the needs and interests of individuals traveling outside of the country are not covered. Travelers should also be aware that Priceline's travel protection does not cover voluntary trip changes or cancellations.

gavel

The Bottom Line

Priceline offers booking for several travel accommodations, including flights, hotels, rental cars, cruises, and vacation bundles. The company also provides effective navigation and a hotel guidebook to help customers quickly find exactly what they are looking for.

However, Priceline's foreign listings are limited and its travel insurance is not available outside of the United States. Additionally, consumers should be aware that they may be subject to additional resort fees not included in their initial bid.

On 03/13/24, I purchased a prepaid rental car though Priceline, for a trip to Phoenix on March 23rd. On March 22nd, I received a second confirmation, with a link to the reservations with a link to the Thrifty Car Rentals website so that I could check into my reservation in advance. I clicked on the link, which took me to a page on the Thrift site that said that no rental reservation existed with that confirmation number. I contacted Thrifty directly and they confirmed that there was no reservation for the requested dates or under my name, and that the Confirmation Number was not valid. It was very fortunate that I clicked on that link, because if I had just showed up at the rental counter, they would have had no car for me and I would have been forced to purchase an entirely new reservation at a much higher cost. I contacted Priceline immediately, and after a long wait I was that they needed to call Thrifty themselves because "sometimes the Priceline reservations are in a different system and don't show up for the Thrifty representative." Priceline put me on hold while they tried to call Thrifty, but when they found out that the wait time was ten minutes, they cancelled the call because "they can't wait on hold more than two minutes." I escalated the issue, and after another long wait and a series of holds, they told me that it was too late in the evening to call Thrifty, and they would have to try again in the morning (the day of my flight). I called early and after another long wait and series of holds, they managed to confirm with Thrifty that the reservation didn't exist, and instead of trying to make a new reservation, they said they could only offer me a refund. Since they gave me no other choice, I accepted the refund, which took three days do post back to my credit card. The only saving grace was that Kayak got me a car that day for only about $40 more, with absolutely no issues. I will not be using Priceline ever again.

Horrible. Booked a hotel with Priceline and paid for a specific larger, more expensive room type. They sent the cheapest room type to Agoda, Agoda booked it and sent the cheapest room type to the hotel. When i check in the hotel give me the cheapest room type, when i question it and show my Priceline booking for the higher room they said that's not what they got and to contact Agoda. Agoda says that's what they got from Priceline and the contact Priceline. Priceline says it was booked through them but by Agoda so to contact Agoda... spent 4 hours trying to sort it out at the front desk while on the phone with both of them and waiting on hold for hours. Ended up with the cheapest room while paid for a more expensive room. Now both Priceline and Agoda are pointing at each other and neither are helpful nor refunding me for the difference in room type. SCAM, takes higher amount, sends lower amount and pockets the difference. NEVER use, not helpful, SCAM of a company.

Warning! please please do not use priceline.com, more so if you have children in your group, for details please read on. I was reserving rooms for my family (2Adults 1 11yr old) for 2 different cities. I searched for 2 Adults and 1 Child (11yrs) with breakfast included in the filter through priceline.com. All room options listed mentioned that the room can accommodate upto 3 adults or in some cases 4 adults. I was asked make a room choice and enter payment information. Once I entered the payment information, the booking is now complete, however the booking was done only for 2 adults and they conveniently removed the child in both the bookings. I ended up paying extra EUR per day for my child for entire duration of stay. During the process of selecting room and entering payment information the priceline website does not show any specific details of what is being confirmed. Additionally one out of 2 hotels did not include breakfast, even at the time of room selection it showed breakfast was included. Here is what frustrated me to the core: I called priceline customer support and they said the booking was done through their partner website agoda and asked me to follow up with agoda customer support. After 10 followups with agoda they concluded that the priceline website has a bug and it sent false information to agoda during booking. However priceline customer support refused to look into this issue. I requested both priceline and agoda to include my child in the booking and both refused. Between the extra per day for my child and breakfast for one of the hotels I ended up paying almost as much as I spent for booking. I never encountered this kind of issue with booking.com website. I am never booking through priceline website again and I urge my fellow travelers not to book through priceline website.

I booked a rental car last Monday, March 11th, 2024. It didn't tell me I was booking through Priceline. It booked through some other 3rd party. But it ended up being Priceline. It doesn't state that the license much match the payment credit card and prepaid cards are not acceptable. After you book it, it tells you some of this but it's in fine print that is hard to read. Especially for a 65 year old. So, I get to Budget to pick the car up I paid to rent for a week. Over $200. Well, Budget wouldn't rent the car to me because I listed my son as the driver but paid for the rental with my card. That's the second time Priceline has taken my money without me being able to check in my room that I paid for for a week, over $300, and now this. Everything booked through Priceline --non-refundable, non-refundable. That's a damn shame. If you like one wrong mistake when booking with them you are screwed and cannot change the booking or get your money back. That is a damn shame. That's how they do business. If you make a mistake using Priceline, you can forget it. Not to mention, if you book through them, hotels and car rentals have their own rules and they both make it impossible for you to fulfill your reservation. If you ask me, Priceline is a thief and should be prosecuted. They know what they're doing, and it's a shame. Everything you do through Priceline, non-refundable. SMH. That's $600 Priceline has jacked me for. Never again and neither will my family or friends use this scamming company!!

I have had multiple bad experiences with Priceline. In 2021 they cancelled my booking but would not cancel my flight. So after a million phone calls and 3 months later they finally cancelled the flight and sent me a check. Fast forward to February 2024 I decided to give them a second chance. So that was stupid. I saw a great price on the website and tried to book it. It said my card was declined, tried several different cards. So I called and they said the dates were not available so they found a different hotel, for $80 more than what I saw online because they refused to use my genius discount but still a good price, and booked it with me over the phone. I never received a confirmation email and my bank wasn’t charged. So I called back to confirm that I had the reservation. They said I did but the email they had entered was wrong so they sent it to my actual email address. ALL of the information was wrong. Phone number, email address, address, and card info. And the confirmation email looked fake, nothing like confirmation emails I have seen before. They said it was actually booked through booking, but the confirmation email said Priceline. Called booking just for them to say they can’t find it. Back to Priceline, told them all of the info was wrong and they said “oh so that’s why you weren’t charged! Well we need to escalate this to someone higher to listen to the phone calls and make sure it was our mistake” WHAT!? I booked over the phone, so how would it be my mistake? I just gave the lady all the wrong info? Be so for real! Anyway they said it could take 2-3 days. Meanwhile hotels are selling out and prices are going up! They were really going to let me drive 10.5 hours with 4 kids just to not have a reservation when I get there! No one is helpful, 4 hours on the phone, transferred back and forth 100 times for nothing!! NEVER AGAIN!! Just don’t book with them!

On November 25th, 2024, I booked 3 roundtrip tickets NYC-Dallas-NYC for my relatives. The total price included the 2 baggage fee for both ways, for 2 of the travelers. On the return Dallas-NYC, they were charged the baggage fee again, even though I had paid when I made the booking. When I called the airline, I was told that Priceline didn't pay them for the baggage. I called Priceline and explained the situation and requested a refund. The rep apologized saying their payment to the airline didn't go through and said I will receive a refund. After few days, I called again. Same thing: Apology and promises. Nothing. The last time I called, I was asked to email proof of payment made at the Dallas airport. I did. A supervisor said to expect the refund on my credit card account within the next days. Today, after more than 1 month and not seeing any refund, I called to find out what's going on. I am told that the baggage fee I paid was for one way. I emailed the rep a screenshot showing the fee for both ways. Still, the rep ignored it and told me flat I had been lied and that there will be no refund. DO NOT buy any baggage from Priceline. If you do, you will end up paying again when returning. You are warned!

If they have negative star I would gave them negative stars. I canceled my fly around July 2023, The agents told me so many different thing that they do not gave me credit for that fly cancel, I either have to book the fly with them right away through Alaska or put under credit Alaska airline. Even though, I put direct under priceline, and now I tried to book fly to travel around April and of course its under Alaska Airline. They said my fly only Valid through February 14. They told me I did not look through policy, I told them that they did not tell me the policy when I cancel the Fly back in July. They broke their policy and they question me back that i did not read their policy? basically, I lost $2500 from this crappy company.

Arrived in Tampa airport half hour late, waited for shuttle for offsite car rental (priceless) called at 7:55pm and was on hold for 10 minutes and at 8:05 was told my PREPAID reservation was canceled because we where an hour late. Was next to impossible to get a hold of Priceline, We where left stranded at Tampe Airport to get a car rental at the last minute had to also find a new motel on our owns. Trip ended up costing a lot more than it should have , And pricelins is giving me a hard time with a refund on the Car Rental that was canceled by the Car Rental Company, Nver use Priceline again, Customer Service is so bad!

I typically book directly with a preferred company, but it was Thanksgiving weekend and prices were out of control. I checked Priceline and decided to give it a try. I used Priceline to book a car rental with National and found a great deal that was half the price I found with National directly. I had zero issues. After paying through Priceline and reading the fine print about No Changes/No Cancels/No Refunds, I checked my booking on the National site and all my info was there. When I arrived at my destination, check-in was fine. After returning the car a few days later, I got a receipt from National and an email from Priceline. All good! I would use Priceline again.

Please avoid. This was a click bait situation. Priceline was super misleading. What I paid through priceline was not a real reservation and I did not get a fair deal due to this when I got to the rental place. When I contacted priceline they said that the agreement was final and even if I did not use the car. The car company was super shady- and over charged me for rental and deposit ($890). The car rental company said that the reservation through priceline was not real and just to get me there.

DO NOT use this company!! Due to a medical condition, the last 5 nights of my hotel stay had to be refunded. The Hotel did it’s part and Priceline greedily kept most of it. Charged 73 a night and gave 32 back…They then tried to lie and say it was because the Hotel did not refund but I had the paperwork from the hotel! Priceline requested the paperwork and when I provided it to them, they just shrugged and said “tough luck!” Greed and nothing but greed!!!

One week ago I went to check into my hotel as outlined in my reservation. Upon checking in the hotel could not find my reservation. They told me this happens all the time with Priceline and to check another hotel that frequently receives the bookings in error. The other hotel confirmed I was booked there. I was on the phone with Priceline for an hour trying to sort this. They called Travelodge who confirmed they did not have my reservation. Priceline then offered to cancel and refund and we discussed I would book directly at the hotel. After checking in, Priceline called back saying that they found my reservation. But since I was now booked between myself and hotel, they confirmed they would still refund my money. One week later, no refund. So I called and they denied my refund because they said my hotel was never canceled. Never ever ever book through this company!!

For years now I have had wonderful experiences with Priceline. I don’t know if it’s because I had worked for their spokesman (William Shatner) for years, or that I’ve been extremely lucky. Ive had one time where I paid twice for a room and once where I showed up for a reservation that the hotel had not received, though the hotel staff met the PL rate and PL refunded me promptly at 110 % because of my status as a Gold VIP. I have had some bad hotel experiences and when I’ve contacted PL they called and straightens things out immediately. Even through the pandemic they have made it so I can filter my hotels for Very clean 3 + stars and a rating above 8. Further if I arrive and the room isn’t what I expect I always ask for an upgrade and I pay the difference. Most of the time I get an apology and a huge discount on their best suite (50% or more). Priceline continues to ask what they can do to improve and when I can I let them know. I hope this helps someone else get the great experience I’ve had and though there are many services out there they stick with it until they master the app which can take some time, trial, error and some patience.

I was expecting to get the run-around when trying to cancel my non-refundable car rental due to Covid-19. However, I couldn't be more pleased with the very quick, friendly, and positive response from Priceline. Although their automated call routing system told me I was not eligible to cancel or refund, I stayed on the line for a very positive and quick discussion with an agent who is sending me a credit certificate. I will remain the loyal customer I've been for 15 years!

Rip off. Actual fraud. Terrible customer service. Never go with them. They literally stole my money. It's been a month that I'm still waiting my refund. Nothing for the flight yet and for the hotel they refunded me 250$ less than the amount they charged me. And they rudly tell me that they did not. And ignoring my emails and phone calls. Truly scam. Awful service.

I booked a room & immediately canceled after having problems starting my car. The hotel canceled no problem, but said I'd have to call Priceline to get my money back. They said they couldn't refund my money unless the hotel approved (which they had). They gave me the run around for 3 days & refused to refund my $66. I am extremely poor at the moment & I really need that money to fix my car. But they won't help at all.

Priceline is a terrible company. I inadvertently booked a room for the wrong day (my fault) a week before needing the room. I called Priceline to just change the date (still needing the room) to the following week and they wouldn’t work with me in the least. Terrible terrible company!!! I will never ever use them again. Nothing like paying $145 for something you don’t get when it could have very easily fixed on their behalf. I would give them negative stars because they basically stole money from me. Anyone else would go to jail for stealing $145. Good luck if you use them

I booked an international flight and clicked on insurance when booking like I always do then I go to change one of my flights and says I don't have insurance. Then I book a price breaker hotel and you are supposed to get one of the 3 hotels listed well I didn't they booked me at a 2 star motel that wasn't listed and tells me I booked an express deal when I am very certain I did not. I am gold vip and credit card holder and will be canceling everything and not using this website again. Also there's no way to get ahold of them when you are out of the country besides chat. Nothing more frustrating than having to pay for something you did not purchase or purchase insurance and be told that I did not. Never again Priceline!

I don’t even wish to credit Priceline with even one star. Last year while working in New Jersey, I’m from Oregon, I made hotel reservations through Priceline in Brooklyn NY to visit my child who had moved to Brooklyn. I received my reservation confirmation. 2 days prior to my arrival date I received a cancellation notice, stating my $$ would be returned in 15-30 days. The hotel had a flood. Ok I’ll go with that one. This year same scenario, visit child in Brooklyn, btw child is 28. I make reservations through Priceline, pay for hotel, receive confirmation, made reservations in June. August 14 arrive in a Brooklyn NY. The hotel was closed, called hotel number, was told hotel now a homeless shelter. No notice from hotel , Priceline, no phone call, no email not a peep. I contact customer service for Priceline, I’m not certain who they hire for customer service, nor how they train or teach them or what kind of powers they give their customer service people. They may want to start at listening skills. Completely and totally useless, couldn’t answer my questions about not being notified. The person did no the phrase no refund for 15-30 days. Said they’d contact their manager and get back to me within 30 minutes. Well that never happened. 2 hours later I called Priceline back another useless waste of my time. I will never use Priceline or there parent company ever again, I’m doing as many reviews on every platform I can find. They suck, they suck they suck. Do not use Priceline ever, unless you like getting screwed every time you do.

I'm a frequent international traveler, and car rentals are a regular part of my trips. This gives me ample perspective when I say that my recent experience with Priceline has been incredibly disappointing. After finalizing my booking, I encountered issues and naturally turned to their customer service for help. However, the experience was akin to talking to a pre-recorded message. The representative seemed to be strictly following a script, with no genuine effort to understand or address my concerns. Instead, I was repeatedly directed to their partner companies, feeling like I was being passed around rather than assisted. Thinking a higher-up might offer some clarity, I escalated the matter to a manager. To my dismay, this conversation too felt like a merry-go-round, with the same rehearsed lines making their appearance. I'm left wondering how renowned car rental companies like Hertz, Avis, Budget, and Enterprise have chosen to associate with Priceline. Such a lackluster service not only reflects poorly on Priceline but also on these major companies for aligning with them. While the platform may be tempting for its convenience, I'd advise caution. If responsive and empathetic customer service is important to you, consider exploring other platforms. I truly hope Priceline takes such feedback seriously and works towards refining their customer interactions. Rating: ⭐

I used Priceline to rent a room and I guess I booked it for the wrong date so I called back like a few minutes later and ask to cancel since it was booked for like the next month over and they said they couldn’t cancel my reservation and that I couldn’t get my refund back. SMH there for I will never use them again and will never tell anybody to use them point blank. How u work for ur money and they quick to take it from u but can’t refund it back. I think I work to hard for this people to just take my money like that. Never again so there for please people make sure u pass the word around that they just take ur money if u try to cancel.

PRICELINE SCAMS CANADIANS I am flying in Canada. My address is Canadian. I am paying with a Canadian credit card, and nowhere on the site does it say anything about American prices until you get your credit card statement. If you are a Canadian, reading this before you purchase your flight. Please do the rest of us a favor and DON'T USE PRICELINE. To the Canadian government, this is the kind of stuff we need to be protected against. PRICELINE is a predator hunting Canadians. I should at least be able to block PRICELINE from offering me services. PRICELINE customer service, by the way, is not in America, but anyway, they told me to contact the airline for a refund. Really, PRICELINE. You're bringing the airline in on the scam with you. You took my money, PRICELINE and I will never forget it.

We reserved an Alamo rental car through Priceline for our trip to Colorado Springs and prepaid Priceline $461.76 for the rental. When our flight arrived at the airport, Alamo was completely shut down, even though we were assured there would be a car waiting for us. We waited for an hour for an Uber that cost us $70 to get to our daughter’s house. The next day we went back to airport to get our car. The Alamo representative was apologetic and offered to cover the cost of the Uber and deduct the charge for the first day of the reservation as they failed to provide us the car we reserved. As such, the revised total cost for the reservation was $275.54. We told the Alamo representative that we already paid Priceline $461.76 when we made the reservation two weeks prior and that we should actually be reimbursed the difference. She said that the $461.76 was just a hold by Priceline and that no payment was made. We showed the credit card statement that the charges had been paid, and she said that we still had to pay the $275.54 to Alamo if we wanted the car as Priceline had not paid Alamo any money for the reservation. We called Priceline and were assured that Priceline would credit our account the $461.76 as the actual cost for the reservation was only $275.54 which we ended up having to pay Alamo directly. Priceline told us that it would take 7-10 business days to credit our account. Yesterday, 16 days later, no credit from Priceline had shown up on our account. We called Priceline again and we told that there would be no refund for the rental as they had gotten a response from Alamo regarding the matter. We asked how this was possible as we had already sent them the receipt for the $275.54 we had to pay Alamo directly for the rental. They then tried to say that the reservation was non-refundable. We asked them how Priceline could refuse us a refund for the same rental we had to pay Alamo for directly. Why would anyone reserve through Priceline if they take your money and you get nothing for it? That is fraud; taking money for a product or service, then not providing the product or service! All total, our $275.54 rental has now cost us $737.30. We asked to speak to a Priceline manager as the last representative could not even understand what we were saying or the written record he had in front of him. We were transferred to his manager, Rose, who was totally dumbfounded and said she was having her manager contact me directly. He was to call me directly within ten minutes; that was 14 hours ago. Had we not called Priceline yesterday, 16 days after they were made aware of this situation, they would never have done anything or followed up with Alamo. We have spent HOURS writing emails and making phone calls trying to get Priceline to credit our account the $461.76 they basically stole from us. We will ultimately get our money back, as I will not relent! However, I highly encourage anyone reading this to NEVER USE PRICELINE FOR ANYTHING! What they show online May look like a good deal, but save yourself the high price and headaches you’ll end up getting in the end like we did. Book with Booking.com or Expedia, both of which we have used and never had any problems. This was our first time ever using Priceline, and it will ABSOLUTELY be the last!

I've always loved booking hotels, flights and rental cars through Priceline. However, on car rentals in Salt Lake City, they have a ton of affordable rental car deals with Fox Rent A Car. This is the absolute worst place I've ever rented vehicles from and am disappointed Priceline has partnered with them. Filthy vehicles, shady billing, horrible customer support and simply the worst experience ever. You can do better than that Priceline - stay with firms with integrity and pride and far away from Fox Rent A Car.

I like using Priceline. We recently went to Elko for a funeral. We opted to use Priceline and we went with the option where you agree on an amount and you may or may not get a hotel that is better then what you thought. We were pleased with our room and the price we paid.

Our company's in Israel, we use priceline on a monthly basis, and book through them at least five reservations a month. During the recent attacks in Israel we've asked to cancel a reservation since all flights were cancelled, uptill now actually. The company refused to give us a refund for the reservation, although it was the right thing to do in this kind of situation. We explained multiple times our representative and our country is under attack!!! I guess priceline, CHOOSE TO SUPPORT TERRORISM

Be aware using price line instead of airline you have a high risk of being bumped from your flight it happened to me the airline and Priceline didn't seem to be concerned place on stand by for three flights and stuck at airport for about eight hours arrived home next day called Priceline told them about my horrible trip and was told " sorry to hear that but nothing we can do. I will NEVER use Priceline again !!!

I dislike that Priceline misrepresented a deal. I selected 4 star for the hotel and used express deals where they pick your hotel. I paid hotel ended up being a 3 star hotel located on a sketchy area of the strip. I tried to cancel they refuses. I provided screenshots showing it was a 3 star they still refused. I called and had reps lie stated that a manager would give me a call just to get me off the phone. Use at your own risk.

HORRIBLE! I booked through them in August 2022. I got COVID and had to cancel my flight. Got a credit. I now want to use it, but every time I try, it takes a call back and then transferring to different operators. The overseas operator tells me she "is not trained" to book using a credit so then they transfer me to a qualified person. This person seems like they know what is going on until they keep you on hold for 20 -25 minutes while they "check the price"...."just another couple minutes....", etc . I ask why? as the flight prices are right on the United Airlines site - "No, those change, so we have to keep checking..." WHAT?? I finally have to ask for a call back when they figure it out. "Sure, 5-10 minutes" Two hours later - no call back. I call in and find out he said the call was "disconnected" and never booked anything. a straight up lie. Even the "supervisor" I asked for was not trained to handle a booking using previous flight credit. It's $1000 credit so I would kind of like to use it - they are making it so tough to use that it seems unlikely that I will get it. It's a shell game of shifting me to different departments and operators only for nothing to get booked. Thinking of Priceline? DON'T DO IT!!

Rented a non-refundable compact car thru Priceline (a third party) and when I got to Fox car rental, there were no compact cars available and had to pay $20/day plus fees/tax extra for an upgrade because Fox car rental policy does not give free upgrades if customer rents thru third parties like Priceline (at least that’s what they told me). Fox car rental policy warns not to rent thru third parties, like Priceline, but rather straight thru the car rental because third parties do not have list of live inventory of cars available and cannot guarantee rental availability, and reserving straight thru Fox car rental will guarantee you a free car upgrade if car is unavailable (something Priceline does not tell you). Unfortunately, when I called Priceline to dispute the upgrade charge, Priceline did not want to take responsibility for their false advertisement. Priceline says they can get you car rental of your choice and for the lowest price but be warned, it is not GUARANTEED and not always for the lowest price.

Priceline ripped me off. When I made my reservation the booking said one room left. I made my reservation and their system jumped back to the beginning. It still said one room left so I made my reservation and had one confirmation number. Three weeks later I saw my bill and they charged me for two rooms. When I called them about the discrepancy they said they would call the hotel to get my money back. I told the woman it was Priceline's fault and she told me there was nothing she could do. They also booked me in a motel that was full of smoke and I changed rooms and still the smoke was every where. It also was not the cleanest and had no internet service for hours.

Will never use Priceline again due to the fiasco of trying to pickup the rental car. NextCar was NOT at the airport and there was no number to call. Finally found out that you had to take the tram to a place where you would get picked up by a shuttle to take you to the rental company. Over 20 people were waiting for the shuttle which only held 10 people so had to wait another 20 minutes for the next shuttle. Then NextCar said we had to have their insurance even though our US policy covers all Canadian provinces. $4.00 per day plus $1000 hold on our credit card. We had reserved an SUV but then they said we don’t insure SUVs so all we have is a Sonata. From landing to picking up the car took 2 hours 40 minutes. Never again! So much for being a VIP member!

Priceline is a complete SCAM!!!!!!! Was in Miami for 2 days and booked a car rental through Priceline. The car rental place said it was mandator in the state of Florida to only use Florida Car Insurance ($150 USD) and on top of that $140 USD "deposit", which they only say is refundable but nowhere in the document does it mention it being refundable. They refused to look at my Canadian Car Insurance. We left and went straight to Enterprise. No issue with my Canadian Travel Car Insurance. They were amazing. This is why Enterprise is such a big and well trusted name. They follow actual regulations and do not make up laws to take your money! I immediately called Priceline thinking they would honor me as a customer. Instead they refused to return my money since the agent said "we need to make a profit too". I did not use my booking! I called Priceline a few times and when asked to talk to the manager, we would immediately get disconnected. Every single time!!!!! First time could be a mistake, but every time... Priceline is a complete SCAMMMMMMM!!!!! Do not use them. They only care about taking your money even if you do not use their service. They do not work with reputable companies. I have never had such a horrible experience with a company like them. I thought by using this platform they would guarantee the overall customer experience. I would never recommend them. Instead make sure you run in the opposite direction. Also, they have removed the ability for you to add your reviews on Google! How obvious is that!!!! SCAMMMMMMMMM!

IF I COULD GIVE THEM A NEGATIVE 5 star review I would. In the beginning of March I booked a trip to Florida and canceled the hotel within a week which was good enough to get a full refund. As of today (5/31) I still have not received it. This was the 10th contact (13th if you count the 3 times they hung up on me) since this saga has started. All paperwork for proof of transaction and charges was submitted AND approved by them multiple times. Then today they said that they cannot link this transaction type to the property (EVEN THOUGH THIS WAS APPROVED BY THEM). I will no longer use a company and that DOES NOT SUPPORT OR CARE about their customers. It is a travesty that this is going on for so long.....

We arrived to Winnipeg airport and were told the rental company was completely out of vehicles, after having reserved more than one month in advance. We were left stranded in an unfamiliar city with no options or recourse. The rental company (Dollar Car Rental) told us that third party booking companies don’t have access to their inventory so there was nothing they could do. There were at least 5 other customers who arrived shortly after us with the same issue and were stuck without a rental as well. When I called Priceline to complain, no apologies were given - only a lame excuse that you (Priceline, a third party company) “don’t have access to inventory”. It’s ridiculous that you go ahead and book reservations and take money from people without actually knowing whether or not your customer will receive the service promised. This is completely unacceptable - if that’s your explanation then you have no business offering services under the guise of a “reservation”. Refund apparently takes 5-10 business days to process (funny how you took my money instantly but somehow it takes an inordinate length of time to refund when you’ve clearly screwed up). So we were out what we already paid and now had to wait until the next day to fork out another lump sum to secure another rental with another company. We ended up booking directly with Enterprise and were happily provided with a free upgrade once they heard about the abysmal service we received from Priceline. I will never book with Priceline again.

I booked a hotel on Priceline yesterday October 23rd for a King Size Bed at Holiday Inn Newark Airport. Not sure whose fault or responsiblity but I got a special price and when I got to the hotel last night IT WAS BEING COMPLETELY RENOVATED!! They gave out a paper with an upgraded hotel called the Crowne Point near Neark Airport. Wasn't upgraded, I had already paid on Priceline. I was charged extra costs. Didn't get the bed I wanted. The place was horrendous, dirty. Staff rude. Furniture torn. I asked front desk if it was sanitized he was nasty and said we wouldn't be open. No dining little cafe, food terrible. Priceline wouldn't help, Crowne Point wouldn't they said there is a contract with Holiday Inn. Well why would you contract with them when they are under renovation. Not safe area. Worst experience ever

I tried to postpone my car rental due to the covid shut down and was told "no changes cancellation or refunds". My trip was booked back in January for May 16th and New York is shut down until the 15th. The Canadian border closure was just extended which means my trip is put on hold. I tried to just get a credit, not a refund and was shot down twice stating some fine print in the agreement I signed when I paid said No refunds. I find it very shady that a credit at a minimum is not allowed during this Crisis/ lockdown when almost every business is offering at least a credit for future use. I couldn't even access the additional insurance page to add protection to try and cover the purchase. This is not the first time Priceline has giving me this "READ THE FINE PRINT” B.S cop out. But it will be the last.

Excellent, have used Priceline for many hotels while traveling all over the country. The prices paid for rooms have saved us a good deal of money. At one hotel we were not happy with the hotel managements attitude at checkin and after a call to Priceline we were immediately credited for the stay and selected another hotel.

I book my hotels occasionally through Priceline. I feel every time that I use this travel site service that it is simple & quick to use. I like being able to compare rates to the other hotels in the places I'm looking to stay. Priceline does a great job with offering me the best rates for quality hotels.

I have booked a couple of hotels using the Priceline Express Deals and they have been the best deals by far. Their website is very easy to use and you can bundle when you travel. I always come here when i need a good deal for a hotel.

Perhaps it's my love of the terrible Shatner commercials, but I have used Priceline on several occasions while planning a trip. I've only ever had positive experiences and usually find their prices are reasonable and comparable to other sites.

I love using priceline when it comes to finding cheap tickets and reservations, is it so easy to get swamped by other airline prices. But Priceline narrows it down to the top choices for flights, hotels, car rentals and more! Making your trip extra comfortable.

Such a great website to use when purchasing flights, hotels and rental cars. They offer some really good deals on their express deals if you don't mind not knowing beforehand the flight or the place you will be staying. It has saved us hundreds of dollars. They also are very helpful and have great customer service.

I always check on Priceline whenever I am going on a trip, for hotels, flights, and rental cars. They are easy to navigate and look for promotions that will be an even better deal. They find the best deal, they are easy to book through and I haven't had anything go wrong after the purchase and reservation. Great Company!

I always use Priceline for last minute hotel deals. I love the bidding aspect because you can often get a room for a fraction of the price of other websites. I feel comfortable using their app and even if you have to call their customer service representatives are well trained and can help.
